Great food and service! Made a visit on a Tuesday for work in the area, and came back on the following Thursday. Best soul I've had in awhile. Oxtail ain't no joke, and the sides hitting too.

This restaurant really needs to be a franchise! The world needs to experience this food and service! The oxtails are so tender and flavorful! Everything is so well seasoned! It makes me think about the food my grandmother use to cook. It takes me back to those Sunday dinners. I wish I could give it 10 stars. If you pass through Hearne, Tx you’ve got to stop! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The owner is a doll!!!

Never tried oxtail before this place. Will be stopping here again. Everything was excellent and the oxtail has every bit of flavor and tenderness you could ask for. Fall off the bone? You best believe! Your soul will undoubtedly thank you for feeding it the best only found at The Oxtail Factory.

Love this place❣Best food off of Hwy 6. My husband & I travel from Waco all the time just to eat there & we definitely stop to eat when we’re traveling to Houston via Hwy 6. Staff pleasant and prices of entrees are reasonable.

Me an my family came in from a burial 30 min before closing and the lovely staff took good care of us! Showed us great hospitality and we are from Houston!

I think they opened this past February. Shaun, the owner and head cook is from Houston and knows her oxtail! We had a discussion of Houston oxtail eateries and we agreed with her assessments.

In Hearne, she IS the queen of oxtails! So flavorful with plenty of rich, brown gravy. Hubby had oxtails and I had fried catfish - so glad we decided to come in. I did have to wait a while as hubby scarfed down his oxtail. He was almost done 10-15 mins. later when my fresh-from-the-fryer filets came out. Plenty of seasoning, so no need to add anything. The filets were a good size and thick. The salad wasn't the best and I waited too long to eat the roll - was a little tough. No matter, we will definitely return!

They have takeout, but do not deliver, unless it's a catered order. If they know well enough in advance, they can provide servers for the catered order. Daily on the steam table, they offer six sides and three, sometimes four mains. It seems that everything is housemade. Their hours are short, so make sure you get there early. Closed Mondays.

Absolutely Love, Love,Love it!!!! The food is so good and Service Exellent this is a Blessed Place and I highly recommend for anyone in the area or anyone willing to drive to go and you will not be disappointed! We will be back!

Wow!!! Absolute MUST stop if in town! My husband and I are passing through, headed home after a weeklong vacation. We’re driving through the country and stumbled upon this gem! I had the catfish, seasoned potatoes, green beans and Mac n cheese. My husband had oxtail, pork steak, spinach, seasoned rice, Mac n cheese. And banana pudding. EVERYTHING WAS FABULOUS!! Country soul food at its finest! Great service. If we are ever back in this area, we will DEFINITELY come back here! Wow!

This is some true, good for your soul food! Everything we had was delicious. The ox tails were soft and fell apart in your mouth. The fried chicken was moist and so full of flavor. I haven't had spaghetti that good since I was a kid! Get you some kool-aid, and it will take you back to those hot summer days at your grandma's house when she made you come in for a drink to cool off!!

I’m a truck driver and I have ate at a lot of places this one though THE BEST!!! I will most definitely stop here again. Now if you a driver please if you stop here to eat make sure u on break cause it’s the kinda food that will put you to sleep lololo love y’all

Wonderful spot. My wife was searching for a new soul food location while traveling and we came upon The Oxtail Factory. The food and service are great. The owner is extremely pleasant and we always look forward to seeing her anytime we visit. We’re no longer in that area but will try to make dedicated trips to show our continued support!

If you like oxtail this is your place. It was tender and seasoned well. I had mine over rice and the gravy it created when cooked was flavorful but not greasy. They serve it family style with 3 sides. Plan on sitting down or taking a nap after this meal. It is comfort food like no other.

UPDATE!!
Driving back through and had to stop here to eat again. I saw it as I was driving by and said "hold up, nope we are turning around." I turned around at the high school and went back. That is how good the food is. Folks that work here are always lovely. I again had the oxtails and rice; it was delicious and just what I needed.

Food is delicious. I had oxtails, green beans, yams and cabbage. Oh, and banana pudding. Service was timely. Restaurant was clean. In addition to buffet, there are reasonably priced items on the short order menu.
