I have been having my hair treated by Montenique for 20 years. I can not begin to even describe how she has developed my hair. She specializes in developing and maintaining healthy hair. When I came to her, years ago, my hair would grow, but the length never seemed to change.
Montenique asked me to trust her and ‘put away the heat’...I.e. curling irons and blow dryers. My first thoughts were, ‘HOW IS THIS WOMAN GOING TO DO MY HAIR if she’s not using heat???!!!’ I’ve had a relaxer since my teens, so how is this going to work? Well. IT WORKS!
My hair has been transformed. When I started with Hair Chicness, my hair was right at my shoulders and, after trims, just above. My hair is now HEALTHY, strong and down my back! SHE IS AMAZING and, by far, the best at what she does. Montenique is a student of her craft, always looking for opportunities to learn about hair and its make up.
I now have a teenager and I would not take her anywhere else. She does all our washes, conditioning treatments, relaxers and color.

Before going to Ms Montenique , I had been experiencing hair dryness and itchy scalp. Since ms. Montenique washed and deep conditioned my hair, the itchyness have drastically reduced and my hair has never looked this moisturized ever. She used quality products and gives the best hair scrub. I can still perceive the oil she used on my hair even after two weeks of going to her. She is just an experience. Can’t put it in words!

I love Hair Chic’ness. The owner is so professional and has been doing my hair well over a decade. The salon suit is so clean, smells good and professional. Everyone is sweet and the owner Is not only the nicest person ever but has consistently helped me grow my hair in a healthy way no matter the style I’ve had. She maintained my perm for years and when I went natural has now given me amazing wash and go’s. hair treatments for my curls, trims for my split ends, and does an amazing silk press. Montenique is very polite and knows how to do a silk hair press. She gave me a much needed trim to even out my damaged hair. The Salon is clean and and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend her for regrowing hair for your future needs.

I have been going to Hair Chic’ness for over ten (10) years now. Montenique is committed to healthy hair. She uses high-quality products and hair tools. Montenique acknowledges differences in hair texture but stresses that all hair is “good hair.” She has grown out my hair, and I have personally seen where she’s grown out the hair of many of her clients. Montenique has a strong work ethic and when trimming my hair, she always trims just enough, and is not at all “scissor happy.” She educates her clients regarding healthy styling techniques and is available to answer questions. Her salon is clean and the environment is warm, inviting, and full of laughter. I would not trust my hair to anyone else, and I greatly appreciate Montenique for taking such great care of it!

Montenique is the best hairstylist I've ever had! She is simply amazing and so talented. Every woman who goes to her has healthy hair, and most of these women have really (like really) long silky hair. Let me make something clear, when I say healthy hair, I mean their own hair, no extensions, weaves, or any such thing. If you haven't booked your appointment yet, what exactly are you waiting for?
