Luis was our the server tonight and he was great! Friendly, prompt and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We will be back!

I have been coming to Tequilas for a while. It is a great place, full of friendly staff and great food and drinks. From bar service to wait staff and the chefs in the back. I have always been well taken care of, wether I dine in or go through the drive through on the way to work. I’ve always been happy when I head home!
The bartender is actually super cool to people who don’t rudely hit on her!

Luis is my absolute favorite! He picked out our amazing meal for us! He got our food to us so fast! It was so much more food than we expected and we couldn’t finish it all! Great personality and very professional! We will be back a lot and hope we have him as our waiter again! Phenomenal experience! Tequila bar and grill is lucky to have such a great person on their staff! I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Wow! This place is amazing. I have lived I. Austin for 13 years and tried many restaurants that are amazing. My go to is beef fajita but like many dishes. I just found this last weekend and am so impressed. The service was great. But the beef fajitas was like no others. This was the most tender meat I have ever had. I am guessing the sous vide the meat ahead of time then sear it to order. So good!! To add to that the margaritas have a pretty strong pour of tequila. I will be back!!

This restaurant is a cozy and the space has warm lighting for comfortable seating. The menu features a variety of different Mexican dishes. My favorite is the Enchiladas Al Carbon with Green salsa 😋. The bar area offers a wide selection of beers, and cocktails, and friendly and attentive staff provide exceptional service throughout the dining experience. George treated us well during our visit and made sure our food was fresh! Whether you're looking for a casual meal with friends, family time, or a time with a loved one, this restaurant is the perfect spot.

Luis Castillo, ask for this guy to help you. He’s big and charming, attentive, and knows his food and looks like he knows what he’s talking about when he’s not lifting weights. We went with his 1st recommendation and I’m both uncomfortably full and very satisfied with my meal and service. First time visiting this restaurant. Mexican is my favorite so I had to try the beef enchiladas. It did not disappoint. I did not try the fried ice cream or the sopapillas. The people I was with got them. They ate it all of that tell you anything. The frozen strawberry margaritas are amazing as well!

Five stars all the way for Taquilla Bar and Grill. Same great people are always there to serve up great food and drinks. Jenny, Luis, Gloria and Diana always take the best care of us when we come in. Try anything on the menu, you can’t go wrong. Top it off with a frozen margarita (best in town) and you will keep coming back.

First time, went on a Sunday night and had a great time! Atmosphere was super chill, everyone sitting in the bar area was singing karaoke! Food was amazing and staff was pleasant. 5 stars Hands down!

Our orders can sometimes be intricate, and many servers struggle to get every detail just right. However, Antonio exceeded our expectations, catering to each of our requests with precision and a genuine desire to please.

When I asked for a draft beer dressed with salt and four limes, Antonio made sure it arrived exactly as requested. He even remembered to bring extra tortillas with our meal, a detail often overlooked by other servers. It was refreshing to see such dedication in the service industry, and Antonio's efforts did not go unnoticed.

As for the food, I was craving something indulgent and opted for a shrimp burrito with added steak. Antonio was happy to accommodate my request, even though it required some creativity in the kitchen. The result was a massive, mouth-watering burrito that left me more than satisfied. My wife and kids also thoroughly enjoyed their dishes, making the evening a culinary success.

However, the sheer number of choices combined with a lack of accompanying images could be a bit overwhelming for some diners. A few more photographs would be a welcome addition, helping to guide patrons through the vast selection of delicious dishes.

Great food we enjoy going here at least once a week and really enjoy the margaritas. Jenny is an amazing server and our favorite! She provides excellent customer service.

Stopped in and got a 16-oz charro bean and large soda to go for my wife in the hospital. Staff was friendly and attentive and took care of me quickly. Wife scarfed the beans down quickly and said they were great!

Great good omg prices staff amazing. Ordered a torta for 5.99 whaaaaaaat. Drink super good and well worth it. Chips and salsa as soon as soon as u order. One thing though fruit flies probably on account of cleaning of fountain drink station or drains. But overall definitely happy hour spot. Also has outdoor patio on a cool day .

We had lunch as a family on a Sunday and Jenny was our server . She recommended us the quesa birrias which were delicious . She was extremely friendly and food service was super fast. Would definitely be coming back and ask for Jenny again she didn’t disappoint .

Lunch here has always been good, but I was at the office late my husband and I were hungry.

This exceeding our expectations by miles!
The Portabella Seafood Plate is more of a platter, the Durango Chicken was huge as well.
Both were layers of flavors and textures that surprised us and had us offering different bites across the table.
The refried beans taste fresh-made and the black beans taste like something my beloved childhood babysitter Reyna used to make for me.
Our server was friendly and the karaoke in the bar made for an interesting background for our experience.
Definitely a come-back place.

Jenny was our server and was amazing we come every weekend and will always ask for her. She gives great customer service and always has a smile on her face.
