I met with several roofing companies after the recent hail storm. I wanted to replace my roof with a Class A fire rated shingle and no less than a grade 4 wind and hail rating. As a retired project engineer/project manager for major petrochemical companies, I approached my roof replacement project as I would any major project for my former employers. Professional project engineers quickly learn to distrust contractors. They EXPECT contractors to cut corners, and that contractors may have to be compelled to meet contractual obligations. I began my research by learning all I could about residential roofing materials and methods. I then prepared an engineering specification for my roof replacement project that borrowed heavily from the best installation practices of several manufacturers including Malarkey, Owens-Corning, and GAF.

In conclusion, preliminary cost estimates indicate that Reliable Roofing skillfully installed a premium quality roof, with a superior warranty, on my home for lower cost than the competition. They were highly flexible in adapting and pricing changes in work scope without complaint. Once the materials delivered to my driveway, the entire 70 square roof, including all the extra work retrofits, took two full days from tear-off to final cleanup. I was doubtful it could be accomplished.
