I went to get a silk press last weekend with Kamirah and I was pleased to say the least! She took her time when washing my hair (which I absolutely enjoyed), almost fell asleep when she was blow drying my hair and my hair came out nice and smooth! I Will definitely be booking again!

Thank you to Ms. Tiffany of 29Eleven The Salon for her labor of love on my hair. After over 9 years, I decided to end my natural hair journey and get a relaxer. I truly believe 29Eleven The Salon is the best place to go in the Austin/Round Rock area to receive this service! The same amount of care and gentleness you would take doing your own hair at home is what you will receive under Tiffany's care.

5 Stars: Professionalism & Business Procedures: 29Eleven the Salon are extremely professional and courteous. From the owner to the receptionist, there wasn't a moment where I didn't feel like I was at a top-level salon. They have an efficient process of handling clients from the booking process to when you walk out the door. Tiffany, the owner, runs a smooth operation and if you value clear communication you'll experience that as well at 29Eleven.

5 Stars: Consultation & Relaxer: I decided to book a consultation to give Tiffany a chance to access my hair before my relaxer appointment to ensure my hair was healthy enough to be relaxed. During the consultation, Tiffany went through the history of my hair and asked questions. It was refreshing to experience working with a stylist who was so inquisitive and active in the evaluation of my hair. I knew then that I had found the right stylist to continue my healthy hair journey.

Once the day came for me to receive the relaxer everything went just as smoothly as the consultation. After surpassing the COVID-19 screening my scalp was prepped and Tiffany began processing my hair. Tiffany paid very close attention to my problem areas and ends that had been stretched from silk presses. I had three different curl patterns and Tiffany relaxed each texture to look like one without stripping all the texture. I wanted a little bit of texture to help keep some fullness since I have naturally fine hair and Tiffany achieved that.

More importantly, Tiffany is the most thorough hairstylist I've ever encountered. I could rave on and on about my experience.

5 Stars: Social Experience: Everyone felt like family or instant girlfriends engaging with each other. I loved it!

5 Stars: COVID-19 Procedures: In the midst of the pandemic many of us are avoiding going to salons out of fear of being exposed to COVID-19 myself included. I witnessed so many efforts to prevent exposure at 29Eleven. They check temperatures, enforce hand washing once you enter, and disinfect stations after each area is used. Not only that but everyone wears a mask. I felt so safe being there.

Overall, Tiffany believes in doing what's necessary to keep every strand of hair healthy. I loved my experience at her salon and wouldn't go to anyone else!

Anya is truly an amazing stylist, I’m so glad I found her! She did a root coverup and full highlights. She listened to my request “not to be brassy” or red undertones. Anya took her time to place each foil strategically.

I have been a faithful client of 29Eleven for over a year! I love the environment, cleanliness, professionalism and class within the salon. The knowledge they share about hair care and beauty needs is what makes me come back every two weeks. They are always making you feel welcomed and important. During this pandemic, I have noticed that the salon is clean and protocols are followed. Services are second to none! I have had 4 appointments over the last 5 months. Each time I was more than satisfied with the knowledge, skill, care and creativity provided. The first was a cut by Chante. She worked a miracle by cutting my uneven hair into a beautiful style. Since then, I’ve been loc’ing my hair. Rychez has done a great job getting me started on this loc journey and I’ve been loving every moment of it. This is best consistent salon experience I’ve had during my 12 years in Austin.

I have to share my experience, in case anyone finds themselves in my shoes! Below is a week before (clip in extensions), during (extremely kinky), & after (who is she?). I usually round brush my own hair and put some clip in extensions to spice it up. But my hair was super unmanageable, as I was trying to transition from relaxed to natural by myself (I know nothing about my hair), and since I recently moved here, I would consistently keep it in a bun, unless I found the energy to actually comb it out lol. I scheduled an appointment with Tracy Cousins (very first time ever going here) and shamefully walked in with a rats nest (not exaggerating) lol. Let me tell y’all, amazing is an understatement. She was so patient, understanding, encouraging and unbiased. Answered any and all my questions, and even explained the dynamics of wigs and braids (I’m new to this) 🥲. I went from 7 inches of hair (and occasionally longer with extensions in), to a literal mini fro and I’m SO thankful I made the decision to get rid of ALLLL of it (all I’ve ever known my whole life is straight hair and to always hide my kinks or curls). The reason I included my first photo, was because I was hiding behind societal standards of beauty, and in the last photo.. I was embracing my true beauty, a feeling like no other (i ugly cried a lot during this appointment lol). Truthfully, I couldn’t of done it without the help of Tracy, her extremely encouraging staff, and whatever impulsive energy took over me. I loved her, her co workers, the environment, and how welcoming everyone was. Tracy even went out of her way to write down all the products she recommends and gave me her personal number, letting me know that I can text her whenever with any questions. I feel like myself 200% and I haven’t had hair this short, since birth. It was a last minute appointment and I’m genuinely happy with the outcome of this service and *highly* recommend Tracy and this salon. Thank you all so much!! Here’s to a new me 🥳

I went for a consultation at 29Eleven The Salon with Rychez Roots. I arrived early. It was easy to find. The parking lot was clean. The outside of the building was very nice and elegant. I was greeted at my scheduled time. The loctitian was very personable (friendly) I didn't feel like a stranger. She asked me about my Loc concerns and other various questions. She helped me to understand products for locs better. She made recommendations and we scheduled for my actual appointment. The time we spent together, I feel as though I left well informed and ready for my next Loc-care steps. My next appointment is next month (August).

This is exactly the type of salon I’ve been looking for! This salon is versatile and they actually DO flat twists. And they offer many other styling services that I have already booked😅 The stylist (Tracy) I booked with, was very informative along the way by asking questions and informing me of what she was putting on my hair every step of the way. She delivered exactly what I wanted. The owner is very nice as she communicated with me on messenger weeks prior to my scheduled appointment. I was so pleased, I booked 3 future appointments😍

I love 29Eleven The Salon and highly recommend it. Tiffany has been my stylist for a little over 3 years now! Before her, I never kept a stylist more than 6 months. In Tiffany, I finally found someone who truly knows hair and cares about her clients. She educates you and wants to make sure you’re happy with your service. I’ve never been disappointed! I also love the atmosphere and the teamwork displayed in the salon. They are like a family which makes for a pleasant experience.

I haven't been in a salon in many years and my experience was much different from what it use to be. Nichole was my stylist and she gave me the sassy cut with a silk press that I asked for. She took me earlier than my appointment and spent time to get the style right. The salon is super clean the other ladies were sweet and funny! The environment was comfortable and the music selection was on point. I would definitely recommend Nichole and this salon in general.

I absolutely love this salon! The vibe is super chic and all of the staff members are very down to earth. They are all very educated in their crafts and don't mind answering any question I have about my hair. My hair absolutely love Tiffany!!! I've been going to her for years. She's taken me from relaxed to natural, and now a colored natural. Every visit I get quality professional service! I feel completely safe and comfortable whenever I step into 29eleven The Salon. Omg. This review is long over due lol. First, I’ll start with the vibe of the place. It’s cozy but spacious salon, the music is always on point. I find myself humming a song at any point in time. They have beautiful portraits hanging around and include one of the artists info at the front desk. They keep the place clean as well as disinfect after each client. They also offer refreshments during your visit. Everyone is super friendly and professional but personable. Everyone seems to specialize in their craft and it’s honestly delightful to observe. Sheri literally always lifts my spirits when I come in even if I’m feeling alright. The previous two times I’ve come here she’s washed, blow dried and trimmed my hair. On the fly decisions (to my own error) are made to style because I never actually know what I want to get done when I walk in BUT Sheri has been MORE than accommodating. Do yourself and your stylist a favor and know what you’d like ahead of your visit 😉 I can’t say how grateful I am to have found such a place.

As an Austin native, it is hard to find a NATURAL hair stylist, let alone a salon and 29Eleven is ALL THAT AND MORE! From my very first appointment I have received nothing but the best customer service and quality care. I also appreciate the salons added safety precautions of prescreening clients before they even walk in the door. Chante was extremely professional and gave me great tips on ways I can better care for my natural hair at home. I also like that she provides amazing coloring services for natural hair clients that gets results without sacrificing the health and integrity of your curls. I have been back a second time and have already booked my third appointment. If you are a natural hair girl in need of assistance with those curls, this is the place to go!

I love the passion that Tiffany displays for healthy hair. I’ve been going to her for years and even restarted my natural hair journey with her. From the big chop to few inches shy of my bra strap, she’s the only one I trust with my trims and color. There’s never any pressure to cut more than I’m comfortable with, nor to come every two weeks. She is extremely honest in telling me what I need to do to maintain my healthy hair. It’s a great feeling knowing I can go, sit and leave looking and feeling beautiful. Oh and she’s funny so the time goes by fast!
