I'm not even joking when I say that was the best mushroom omelette I have ever eaten, the wife had a breakfast sandwich and she said it was most tasty. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and made you feel invited, in fact they helped us with directions to stores we needed to visit while in Elkins. It's a wonderful place to eat and I highly recommend it

This is a very friendly and welcoming restaurant. Amazing employees and delicious food. I haven’t tried anything there that isn’t tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting delicious variety of foods, breakfast anytime and amazing service and the awesome part, it’s family private owned. Which means they truly care and can genuinely cook.

I wanted to check out a local spot and this place didn't disappoint. We were in and out in 30 mins (which wasn't a prerequisite but just saying they were fast!) Lots of locals and really cool atmosphere with views of the mountains all around. Everyone was very friendly. Had drinks and our orders put in within 5 minutes. Had our food in a max of 10 mins. My husband loved the local sausage. My omelet was delicious. We cleaned out plates. Thanks for having us!

Called in advance to confirm seating & service for 12 - 20 people & staff had prepared accordingly. The food was excellent, the service even better & we will use the Lunch Box again for our group lunches, brunches & suppers !!

Food was very good, especially the fried pickles, they were homemade and were some of the best I've had, and our waitress Cindy was great. Good spot to go for lunch.

You can find The Lunch Box in an old Pizza Hut (which I think is super cool and takes me back to my childhood). I love all the tin lunch boxes and plants throughout the diner.

The day we went was busy. The waitress was very friendly. She told us to seat ourselves and she'll be by to clean the table and take our order. Both waitresses that were working were definitely hustling that morning. They managed to get everyone's order out quick and accurately.

I ordered the Long Haul Breakfast and my husband ordered a ham and spinach omelette with hash browns and toast. The food was amazing.

We will be back! The Lunch Box has filling food, nice service, good prices and the atmosphere had a small town diner feel.

A great Family owned restaurant, with delicious home cooked food.

First time here and I had the Rubin with onion rings and a sweet tea. I was blown away some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The Reuben was perfect and great sweet tea.

I wish it had something to break up the dining area. It feels like a cafeteria... lol. It is unique with little kid lunch boxes on each table. Everything was clean! The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I absolutely love this diner! Awesome view of the mountains when you sit on the side facing the shop n save, but be careful of the soul-binding contracts the waitresses will bring you, I almost signed one lol! I think they went after me especially hard because I was a little stoned, best to keep a clear mind, but the slight danger was totally worth it in my opinion! Delicious food and fast service!

I love the Lunch Box. Super friendly staff, the burgers are insanely good. Breakfast however. Eh.
If you're going to try the Lunch Box, go for lunch or dinner, get a bacon cheeseburger and you'll walk away happy. But if you do decide to go for breakfast, don't order the "home fries". They're not home fries and they're not cooked or seasoned.

A reasonable price. Service was very friendly. Bacon cheeseburger was very good and I would recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area!

We came to the lunch box after our server at another local restaurant recommended it for breakfast. It was great. The waitress was nice and attentive, the food was home cooked and tasted delicious. I loved the theme. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it reminds me of a diner in my home town.

Very good place to eat. Good down home feel and atmosphere. Scott and his family have lived in this area for many many years and is a well known and well respected member of the of the area clean place to eat for a snack lunch breakfast or dinner I hope you decide to eat here and remember tell scott rick sent you. Also if you are in need of a hair cut the mini mall barber shop is only two doors up.
