Sisters' Restaurant

Delicious home cooking! It was pretty busy for a Friday lunch. Parking was a bit tricky (crowded and a little disorganized). We were seated and served pretty quickly for such a busy place. I had the baked ham, sweet potato souffle, green beans and the mac & cheese. Lunch was served with a dinner roll and a hush puppy and all for $11.50. The iced tea was fresh and extra cold for only $1 more. The service was friendly, the taste was awesome and the price was right. I recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious and authentic southern cooking! Staff was delightful, and told us all about their specialty dishes. They regularly change their dishes, so it’s new every day. Wonderful fresh vegetables as well. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place. I almost turned around because the parking lot was packed and suspected a long wait. I had the fried pork chop, squash casserole, and butter peas per recommendation of the waitress. Service was great and very fast. Food matched the amazing service. Less than $15 for everything and a drink.

It was so Delicious! Thier hamburger steak was so good it was so tender it came right off and melted in your mouth! The atmosphere was very good aswell very friendly staff willl definitely be eating here again!!

We see why it is packed. The food is lightly seasoned just right, and sauce was perfect, not runny and not thick. Emily was amazing with us, and we were able to meet the owner's daughter who came by to chat with us. Overall the best place in Troy. Thank you

Stopped by for lunch while traveling from Destin to Atlanta. Easily some of the tastiest food I’ve had on a buffet. The place was pretty busy and everything was hot and fresh. The desserts were amazing.

The food was outstanding. We had the hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and cream corn. Also the chicken fingers of which were very tender. They have a different menue every day. Open from 10 am to 2pm. We will definitely visit again.

Sisters is our favorite place to stop for lunch just south of Troy when we are traveling to and from Florida. We have tried fried chicken, fried catfish, potatoes, cabbage carrot casserole, beans and banana pudding!!! Don't miss this place. They stay busy!!

Best southern lunch a traveler can get. Outstanding portions and best prices i challenge anyone beat. You miss this place, you miss quality!

I go here almost every time I’m in town visiting family. The staff is polite, and the Sunday buffet never disappoints. I probably get more food than I can possibly eat, but I can’t help myself. Everything is so delicious that I don’t want to miss out! Even on a Sunday after church, the wait is never terribly outrageous. If it’s your first time and you don’t know what to get, make sure to try the chicken tenders, mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, and banana pudding for dessert.

We arrived on a Tuesday shortly after 1 PM. Even though the restaurant closes at 2 pm, the buffet was still completely stocked. Despite the fact that I don't usually enjoy buffet style restaurants, Sister' Restaurant was excellent. Everything I had was very good. The fried zucchini and the hush puppies were exceptionally delicious.

Absolutely Fantastic! Not from around here, but saw the parking lot busy... so I thought it must be good. Clean, wonderful food, the staff were genuine and appreciated that you were there, and family owned/operated. A must stop. Emily was our server, and the girl assisting her were so kind.

Oh man! I just moved to Alabama a year ago and have been trying lots of restaurants. This one is by far #1! My first time at a place I only take enough for two bites of each food. Everything I tried was excellent! Even the bread pudding. I have tried many and only liked my own, but it was delicious! My favorite place of them all so far 😁

The cinnamon butter that came with the sweet potato was delicious with the roll. We're from out of town and saw how crowded the parking lot was, so we decided to try it. We weren't sure what to order since it wasn't a buffet (due to covid I'm assuming), but pretty much everything we got was good. The mashed potatoes weren't anything special. We make them a lot at home from the package, and it tasted similar to that. My grilled chicken was good as well as the broccoli and rice casserole.

Great Food. Buffet Style Southern cuisine. Great service and price. One of the sisters help guide my big semi truck thru the lot today. So glad she made the effort. Being from Calif, we don't get this kind of food much. This lunch experience made my day.

the food is absolutely fabulous every time we eat at Sister's! I've never had a bad meal. The banana pudding and bread pudding are wonderful. They are only open from 11:00 - 2:00 during the week and 10:30 - 2:00 on Sunday (closed Saturday) but you had better get there early because the place gets crowded fast. You will not be disappointed!
