Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elkins, an IHG Hotel

I loved my stay, so much that we stayed 2 extra nights. Decent prices and decent continental breakfast, and great service personnel from my experience.

This hotel hits all the notes perfectly! Daily house keeping (in 2023?!), clean and modernized hotel, and friendly staff. To top it off, their guest laundry is free and has 4 new machines!! Stayed here for 4 days while working and I'd happily do so again.

VERY MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY. I loved the covered area for bike parking and hanging out. They had a map of all the different rides to take posted by the motorcycle parking. Also provided rags to wipe bikes down. We very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Great location, friendly people and just a very clean and nice establishment. The breakfast was a better one for a continental! The soap was all dove and even had hand soap and body wash! The beds were amazing and comfortable! If you are a rider or not, this is your place to stay!! Do not forget to grab a complimentary cookie for a bed time snack, they are delish!

Nice room with king bed. Interesting chaise type chair. Large bathroom, the fan is kind of loud. Pump bottles for shampoo etc in the shower and by the sink. TV has a million channels. Free breakfast was pretty good, a step up from most.

We opted to stay here on a trip to ride the railroad. Once we arrived on Friday we didn't get back in the car until we headed home on Sunday thanks to the walkability from the hotel to the town and train station. The rooms were clean, plenty spacious, beds were comfortable, and the pool was well-kept. The free breakfast was tasty and the entire dining area was kept well-stocked and very clean by staff. The front desk staff were all kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

When we arrived everyone was so friendly and helpful. The entire facility was extremely clean and well maintained. Our room was beautiful and also hospital clean! I'd give Mike and his team 100 stars if I could! The breakfast area was full of delicious choices; the coffee and tea was also very plentiful. If you're visiting Elkins for any reason stay here at Holiday Inn! I wish these wonderful folks operated every hotel! Thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

Great location in town. Walking distance from the local brewery and other pubs and restaurants.
The gentleman at the front desk was very professional, friendly, and helpful. We stopped last minute from a long motorcycle ride and needed food and drinks. His recommendations were spot on.
The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was very excited to find that laundry was free! There is nothing better than arriving home with clean clothes!
Breakfast was amazing! The area it was prepared in was clean and well kept. Great place.

Well run facility, fair prices, and excellent staff. I travel for a living and I wish this was the norm. Some unique and interesting things: motorcycle specific covered parking with clean wipes to wipe off your bike, grills, hot tub and pool, warm cookies, and it's right across from the police station. One night the mayor of town came over just to say "Hi" to everybody and see where people were from.

The rooms are very nice and the hotel is updated and modern. The room was very spacious, much more than I expected! Not much to do in the area, but a great place to stay! And they had complimentary cookies 🍪😋

Very clean and well appointed. Nice rooms. Big bathroom with an actual ceiling vent! Breakfast was awesome..I over ate! Coffee was good. Staff was nice and helpful. Free Cookies near the front desk. The entire hotel was tastefully decorated with Christmas decorations..including a trimmed tree with a train set underneath. Swimming pool and hot tub looked nice...made us wish we had brought suits. Next time.

A really nice hotel nestled in the heart of Elkins. Short drive to many area attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and friendly. This is definitely in my top 3 picks of any IHG Hotels I have ever stayed in for the price.

Stayed here during a work trip. No complaints! Staff is friendly and professional, room was clean and well stocked with the usual amenities, and laundry is free! (BYO Soap - but check first to see if someone else might have left some)

This is a very clean place to stay. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is just right, everyone in our group was pleased. The restaurants and to the train station were within walking distance. And last but not least. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and there's an exercise room with free weights and some good cardio equipment.

Very enjoyable stay. Ultra clean (saw staff cleaning constantly). Room was well decorated with many modern touches. Super quiet over night though there were some slight water sounds (shower?) and occasional door sounds. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and tasty. Think it covered most choices from eggs to cereal, fruit, and bagels. Appreciated that they also had hot sauce among condiments. Well done!

Fantastic last minute emergency stay for my bf and I! They were great, booked fast and room was clean and tidy! Great space.

Only thing was the TV was giving issues, DirectTV was the issue due to weather. The remote wasn't working, so they tried to fix it as best as they could. They gave us a discount and had 2 people try to solve it, and ultimately they solved it.

The toliet could be cleaned better but it's a preference.

Their breakfast was AWESOME. Loved it!!!
The town is so close which is fun to explore. We went to black water falls which is 50 minutes away.
I'm definitely coming back!!!!!

A very nice newer hotel absolutely spotless inside the lobby and rooms. There are dispensers for soap , shampoo, and conditioner. Complimentary cookies in the lobby! Very close to the railroad station if you’re in town for the train rides. I would stay at again and would recommend it too.

I found this to be a pleasant experience while visiting family and not having to interrupt their lives. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we found they hadn’t replaced the towels on our initial night. It was easy to get out and walk over town where I had my first job as bellboy in the (now defunct) Tygart Hotel at 16 years old.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good. They were also very accommodating for my electric vehicle. I was allowed to plug in and charge my vehicle overnight which was greatly appreciated. I'll be staying here again the next time I'm in town.
