All the staff has been extremely friendly. The hotel is located next to a restaurant, family dollar, and grocery store. The rooms are affordable and are kept clean. Good sized televisions in the room. Next to the lobby, there is a large room with board games and trains for family. I travel all over the country for work I will stay here again when in area

Pet friendly, $25 fee = reasonable & average. People friendly too 😺. I've stayed multiple times over recent years. All staff helpful & friendly from Manager, Front desk, Cleaning, and Outside maintenance.

TV selection seems to lack movie stations, But WiFi is fast & I have my usual providers on my laptop. Employees here keep me coming back.

I put Great View because I like Rm#119 which faces grassy hill & woods out back. Can open window for fresh air & has been quiet on my visits.

Both of us enjoyed the train theme of the hotel. The hotel staff made it a wonderful experience by always checking in with us and offering assistance. Staff are very friendly, and free breakfast was a plus. Only criticism is the TV in our room had a large static noise. Would stay here again if I am ever in the area.

Great place! Very inexpensive, rooms very clean, well kept and large. front desk and housekeeping staff very helpful and friendly! Beautiful sitting area, would definitely go back!

Two day stay at $75 a night. Very comfortable. Shower was wonderful, great water pressure. Continental breakfast was sparse, I'd work on it a little more. However, the bed was comfortable, and the alarm was very annoying, which makes it perfect. I plan on using them again next year.

This is a old hotel with some new updates. Highly recommend this place. Very biker friendly. You can leave this motel and head in any direction for some great motorcycle riding. They have a map in the lobby that shows you all the cool ride around the area. If you like the tail of the dragon, you will love these rides.

Pet friendly, rooms were very clean, front desk was excellent. They even offered towels to wipe off your bike. One of the friendliest hotels we stayed on our slingshot trip.

Was just passing through but I ended up staying three nights because of the RR history in the area. Very nice place to sleep, and not far from downtown. Glad it was pet-friendly. Will be back!

This place was great. My husband's grandfather died shortly before our trip to Elkins and he loved trains... when we walked in and saw the theme, we almost cried. It was a good feeling to be around all the train station themed items. Our room was nice too, just what we needed for our stay. Clean, and they had a little free breakfast each morning too which was nicw.

Returned to this hotel in November for the last Tygart Flyer trip of the year. I was the only one staying there. Couldn't beat the quiet nights!
