This place is great. The atmosphere is comforting and inviting, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food on top of that makes this a very enjoyable time. If you are thinking of coming, do it! It’s amazing. Me and my boyfriend normally get the mikado roll which is a special and the calamari. It’s amazing.

Maybe I’m stubborn but Mikata has always delivered such good food with great service that I’ve never really ventured anywhere else to get Japanese food.

For me, it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. Tastes extremely fresh and well prepared. Decent prices and nice atmosphere.

I went here for my birthday last nigh! You can't go wrong with this place! Chef Brian was so nice and seasoned the food really well. He took time to cook everyone's food and did it with a smile on his face. He made sure everyone had what they needed and he made sure everyone felt welcomed. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the waitress only came to our table for refills once and even then forgot stuff. She was not consistent with us like normal restaurant waitresses do. It also sucks that they don't seat you until everyone get's there. They also messed up my party number. I said six people and they put down two and the other lady was kind enough to say I will take care of it for you. Overall, I think this place is a good place. The waitress we had should just be more consistent with her guess instead of coming to the table twice and then not coming back again.

Hands down the BEST Habachi Restaurant I’ve ever been to. I literally ate every bite. The rice is delicious, right amount of teriyaki sauce, chicken is cooked perfectly and the portion sizes are big enough for two. I HIGHLY recommend them.

In Auburn for the weekend & my cousin took me here. The food was great! The chef was friendly and cooked everyone’s food how they wanted it! You also get big portions of the food they are not stingy!

We sat at the bar on a busy evening. The bartender handled the situation as best should could with the load put on her. 1 bartender making all the drinks in the restaurant and the bar and a seating area to cover seems like alot but what do you do when people don't want to work? The sushi was fresh and tasty! The steak and chicken habichi was very flavorful.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner here thanks to my wonderful husband! The food is amazing and the tables are very spacious! The cooks are funny and definitely know what they are doing!

We went for my daughters 31st Birthday and we Loved it ..Food was Fantastic The Chef was Grate and Very Fun and Up Beat everyone was very happy 😊 Only thing I didn't like was not being able to get to our table till everyone from our party arrived..There was no place to really sit and wait so they need more seating for those who are waiting. Also they said we couldn't fit 10 of us when making the Reservation but it was clear after getting there to our table that they could have gotten 10 of us at this table , so we had one who didn't go because of that. So wish they knew for sure how many will fit at a table ... But that's all other than that everything was Fantastic...

We were visiting from town for the weekend and decided to stop here. I would highly recommend it. The staff was great. the server was great, and the cook was very good.

Veggies were a little undercooked, and the onions in the rice were raw, but everything else was delicious

Mikata's food is the best place that I have been to that cooks it in front of you. The food is fully cooked though so you won't get sick. The cooks were so funny and friendly my family and I had a great time. Last thing is that the employees treat each other and you like family truly felt like I was at home.
