Waldo Cooneys Pizza

I’ve tried a lot of pizza in the city and suburbs and I have to say this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. First, I love the fact that they cook and slice the pizza to your specifications. Second, it was fresh and delivered hot as were the French fries. Third the salad was crispy, fresh and delicious. The gentleman that delivered the order was also quite pleasant. Try them you won’t be disappointed

Chicago is home to the best pizza in the world. You have Giordano's, Gino's East, Beggars, and Lou Malnati's to name a few. When it comes to deep dish pizza Waldos Cooney's ranks near the top. The ingredients always taste fresh and tasty. The deep dish slices are big and fulfilling. They also have delicious hot wings. When it comes to their thin crust pizza we could not come up with a consensus answer. She likes the thin crust as well and I do not. They do deliver which is an added bonus. If you choose to pick your order up, they have a parking lot adjacent to the building, and the inside is very clean. They also have a small eating area.

I haven't been there in a long time. Absolutely blown away the drive-thru and parking lot.

Always have great pizza here. Big parking lot. Every once and a while they make a mistake they’ve credited my account and been good about it. Love getting pizza here on Wednesdays!!

Ordered jumbo special w/ free med cheese. Also tried Chezee garlic bread and it could feed an army! Everything was delicious. Great job!

I haven't had Waldo pizza in a long time. Had the taste for some and it was delicious!! Hot n fresh, big slices for reasonable prices. I absolutely loved it!! Definitely gotta go more often

This is a great place for pizza. The workers are friendly and the food is delicious. This is a great spot to chill with family and friends. The music is decent and the service is fast. The location is across the street from CVS, the Art Center, the area has transportation, and many other locations. The only problem with this place is that the restaurant is small but besides that the area is a safe neighborhood.

After a horrible experience at Rosati's I decided to order from Waldos the half sausage half pepperoni thin crust pizza and cheesy breads I'm a pizza head and this restaurant has moved its way into my top 5. I look for the 3 T's in a restaurant: Taste, Treatment, Travel. This restaurant has all and I only did carry out. The guy on the phone even told me I had a coupon and not to mention the pizza was amazing and the cheesy bread melted in my mouth. Even the marinara sauce was divine that came on the side. Keep up the good work!

Waldo Cooney's has very good Pizza! Go visit and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed at all!

The manager is awesome. He stops whatever he is doing to greet everyone who walks through the door. He is friendly to everyone in the neighborhood regardless if they patronize him or not. Allows people to escape weather conditions in his business while they wait for public transportation. I hope business remains a staple in the local economy for years to come .

I love the drive thru option

I am only posting this as a review of their "pizza by the slice" because that is the only thing I have tried...and honestly...that was pretty awesome! I will edit this review when I order something else or a whole pizza. But for the quick 8 minutes I was there, the employees were VERY friendly, and it was clean in the pick up area.

Probably has the best sauce of any pizza joint in the 100s. Very tomato-ey, perfect balance of garlic, herbs and spices, and most importantly, not ruined by too much added salt or sugar. Sausage has great flavor, they actually season the ground beef, unlike a lot of other pizza spots, and the toppings aren't overloaded to mask the flavor, plus the veggies are actually fresh and crisp.

My family has been ordering from this location for over 10 years. When we have Waldo Clooney’s it’s always a special occasion and we don’t order pizza from anywhere else. If I have to be honest, I’m not that crazy about their fried fish dinners, maybe because I grew up down south were really good seafood is abundant. Yet, everything else they prepare is on point. “Can’t go wrong with Waldo Clooney’s”!

Great food and service! Decent prices too! A couple of times the driver got lost trying to find my location but the timely and friendly customer service is still pretty decent. The taste of the different pizzas and the buffalo wings is amazing.
