Cool tucked away hiking spot. Tons of established oak trees and wide variety of birds, pretty short and easy trail, mostly flat. Interesting old iron bridge and old railroad cart(?) to explore.

I carried out as much trash as I could carry...Sad to see so much trash, broken glass, piles of old railroad ties leeching creosote into the river, I hope Piatt County Forest Preserve District can clean this place up so it can look as good as it deserves.

Lovely little spot to hike by the Sangamon River. Really cool old bridge to explore as well.
