Denny's

Got into Davenport, Iowa late so we opted for #Dennys which was located in the Flying J Service Station, close to the hotel, and open. We were fortunate we arrived before they closed as currently it’s not open 24 hours, However, they are hoping to change that. The service was great, and they didn’t try rushing us out. After some deliberation I decided on the Brisk-It-All Melt Handheld. Slow-cooked brisket burnt ends, crispy diced bacon, two eggs, aged white cheddar, Diner Q sauce and pickles on grilled artisan bread. The sandwich was wonderful it had great flavor, I loved the meaty goodness, and eggs are always yummy on a sandwich. The sandwich came with some lovely onion rings. The #OnionRings were hot and crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. A perfect pairing with the #BrisketSandwich Denny’s even had Heinz 57 Sauce for me to dip my rings in, it is the best sauce to dip. My Husband ordered the Mile High #DenverOmelette Three-egg omelette with ham, fire-roasted bell peppers and onions with American cheese. Served with hash browns and sourdough bread. Breakfast for dinner was what he wanted and the omelette was very good. He also enjoyed a wonderful #StrawberryBananaSmoothie made with non fat vanilla yogurt. It had been a while since we had visited a Denny’s but we were glad it still delivers consistent good food and caring service.

I am ashamed to admit this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this Denny's. I have been to many in my life. While the menu was what I was expecting, the cleanliness of the space and the friendliness of the staff was unexpected.
We were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The food was what I expected, but the quality was a little better than what I am used to from a Denny's.
Overall, it was a good respite on a long drive.

Always good food. Fast service and quick to get your food to your table.

The food was actually really good mile high Denver omelet cubed potatoes with country gravy, perfect for the time

My first Denny's I've been to EVER, and a AMAZING experience. The waitress, Tiffany ,was super nice and did a excellent job. I had a wonderful time. I hope I come here again!

My husband and I have breakfast here a few days a week. My husband is addicted to the awesome fluffy pancakes and Jennifer S is our favorite waitress. They have many terrific options and great prices! Check them out and ask for Jen!

Had the bourbon chicken skillet it was delicious! It was suggested by my server mayela and she told me it wouldn’t disappoint! she was very bubbly and attentive! definitely coming back for the great service and food!

This Denny's was very clean, the staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food came out hot, fresh and made correctly! This is one of the best Denny's I have been to. I am definitely putting this place on my best of list and will be stopping here again.

Mayela was a great server . She made sure our food was brought out in a timely manner and that it was accurate. I never had to ask for more water ever! She made my visit pleasant.

We went in about 9:40 thinking they might be 24 hours again but the closed at 10 (we try not to go places that close to closing)and they happily sat us! Chelsea (Tika) was our server and was so friendly and full of energy, she was great! Alicia and Brandy both came over to try to belp with an App issue and were very friendly!

Excellent service and very clean restaurant. Such a wide variety of food for all kinds of diets. Husband had t bone steak which was very good and tender to eat with his eggs and hash browns. Son always gets the strawberry crepes and substitute meat for ham steak. I got the strawberry banana blueberry pancakes which are to die for. My new favorite meal!! So much food that I had my son help me eat mine. Would highly recommend this place.

Food was much more than I had expected. Prepared and served hot. Waitstaff was friendly and checked back with and answered any questions we had about condiments or any refills needed. I had their new dish Banana Carmel pancake breakfast. It was amazing, and I had to get a togo box for the pancakes left over. They were huge. Plus, eggs, hashbrowns, and a choice of 2 bacon strips or sausage links. It was a ton of food at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend.
