Food is so very delicious. Cocktails are great with a nice variety. Ambiance is cozy and classy. The service here is phenomenal. The chef made me a vegetarian entre since none was on the menu, and it was so tasty, and he came out personally to check if I liked it. It's really just a wonderful dining experience.

Hands down the best meal we've had in Peoria.
I don't normally write a review unless it's a bad experience to warn people but...... 2Chezs inspired me from start to finish.
I'll start by saying we've tried to dine here a couple times and reservations are always booked but recently realized that there is a community table so we tried last weekend but sadly people were waiting and rushing to get that table before the doors even opened people were lined up. We reserved a table for next weekend since we didn't get the table.
Fast forward next weekend.
It's a blizzard out and -3° out but we trucked it in to give it a try. Thr small restaurant was packed like the weather wasn't even an issue. Our reservation was for 7:30 but we arriveda little early thinkingthey may not be busy with the blizzard outside and temps steadily dropping. We were greeted by the co-owner and the chefs wife as we walked in, our table wasn't ready so we sat and waited at the bar. The ambience of the place was eclectic and effortlessly cool. Everything was perfect. Music was being played on an actual record player which I love and feel that music just sounds better on a record player. We were greeted by the chef/owner and talked with him for a bit and watched him flombay a bananas foster as his 2 sons bartended. The drinks are made with fresh ingredients like hand pressed ginger and freshly made syrups and lemonade. I had an aperol spritzer, my son had a peach lemonade and my husband had a whiskey mule. We were already impressed and loving the vibe and our drinks were delicious. We watched as they made smoked drinks and muddled fresh ginger. We also went and checked out the cool bathroom decor and played a game of I-spy with my son with the fun decorations.
We finally get to our table and our the chef kindly gave us an appetizer for the wait. The bruschetta was perfectly seasoned and my husband who doesn't like raw tomatoes even tried and liked it. I was shocked! We ordered fries with tarragon aoli as well for an app and my son destroyed them and said it was the best aoili ever and wanted more!!!
We ordered another round of drinks, the brubaker and a tart cherry mule.
By the time we had eaten our appetizers we had already began to plan our next trip back to 2chez, it was that good!
We had a hard time deciding what to get even though the menu is small.(which it should be)
Everything sounded good!
Living in Colorado we were spoiled by amazing restaurants and unfortunately majority of restaurants in Peoria that we have visited are just ok and the food is far from fresh or made from scratch and we find ourselves eating at home more because we're never really impressed.
For dinner I had the scallops with lobster cream sauce and lyonaise potatoes, my husband had the filet with mashed potatoes and veggies and my son had the special of the night a veal tbone with a demiglaze and lyonaise potatoes.
We were blown away by how perfectly cooked and seasoned everything was, not a drop of food was left on our plates.
My son also had creme brulee for dessert.
I highly recommend this place.
We will definitely be back.
The only complaint I have is that we waiting this long to finally eat here!

My husband and I consider 2 Chez our favorite restaurant in Peoria! We have been several times and we always have a wonderful experience from start to finish. The bartenders are on top of things and very helpful with making recommendations and substitutions to ensure we love our drinks, the chefs are always willing to make things with small changes if needed, and the owner is often walking around talking to customers. Very cool vibes and atmosphere, feels upscale and fun while being reasonably priced for the experience you get. 10/10 recommend 2 Chez!!

This place is an absolute gem. You need to check it out. The vibe, atmosphere, and food are unmatched in the Peoria area. Records play tunes as you dine. The entire place is full of charm, including the bathrooms. The riesling, and chicken Florentine were phenomenal.

I took my boyfriend and a group for a wonderful dinner for his birthday. Chelsea was our server and everything was picture perfect! Thank you for excellent service, food and drinks! I truly can’t say enough good words. Everyone was impressed and happy! Thank you!

This is one of my favorite places in Peoria. The steak tips in blue cheese cream sauce is to die for. Some of my favorite pasta I’ve ever had! Steak is cooked to perfection. Their drinks are excellent. Highly recommend the soup of the day too.

Fine dining at it's best. Amazing prices. We had the steak, scallop and rack of lamb. The steak is tender and fresh, done to exact temperature. Scallop is heavenly and the potatoes underneath is crisp and juicy. Lamb is incredible, done just right. The butter that come with the bread is amazing. It's a real gem

We enjoy every experience we have at 2 Chez. The food is the best in the area! The atmosphere is classic. The owner, Todd, is always mingling with the crowd. Isaac makes the best drinks! Highly recommend!

Love everything about this family-owned, family-operated restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the attention to details, and the staff. After you enjoy a fantastic dining experience, take a few moments to enjoy the many pieces of nostalgia and memorabilia that decorate the walls of this restaurant including the restrooms.

2 Chez is by far the best fine dining experience in Peoria. The food is second to none. Chef Todd makes the most delicious meals around and the service is impeccable. If you are looking for a wonderful experience for a night out, you won't be disappointed. If you like bourbon, order The Brubaker.

The consistency of every drink/dish being perfect won’t be found anywhere else in Peoria. I have been here multiple times and every dish is always exactly how it should be. I really appreciate how well the business is ran.

We came here to celebrate an anniversary and it was fantastic! The scallops were incredible, you could tell how much creativity the chefs put into the dishes. Very nice experience and would definitely return!

OMG where do I start? Everything from the atmosphere to Robert our bartender to the absolute 5 star food was hands down the best meal I had in decades. The owner came out to ask how everything was and I told him “thanks for making me realize I can’t cook I thought I could. Robert was a master in mixology and took the time to explain what was in the drinks and what to expect even in the back notes. We got there right at opening 5pm and by 5:15 every seat including the bar was full and people we’re waiting in line. Do yourself a favor and try this amazing hidden gem. I want to give a special thanks to Robert who was so personal and professional he really made our night. (He should get a raise!)

We were a bit nervous when we pulled up to this restaurant in a strip mall. This great restaurant reinforces the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover". We were so glad we dined at this GREAT restaurant. The decor is cozy even a bit homelike. Service and food were both outstanding. The chef/owner even came out and checked on his customers. A professional and classy establishment. Thank you for a great dining experience!

Food is very good, not super pricey for higher end food. Service is great, and perfect place for a romantic dinner. It's not very big and lighting is low, at least at dinner time. Consistently one of the places we can count on to have an enjoyable and delicious meal. I had the veal au poivre (pictured), it was excellent!

Early Saturday dinner tonight with my wife & myself. Atmosphere is very cozy. Wife had the salmon (loved it) and I had the filet which was over the top! One of the best filets I have had recently. Our waitress, Gina was excellent with a capital “E”. House wines were great, prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!!!
