50-Acre Park

We visited "The Barn". It's a great place to bring toddlers for a close-up experience with a few farm animals. Jake was our guide. He was polite and informative.

You can visit repeatedly and still have a new adventure.

Wide open fairways with v forgiving tee shots.

There are separate tee pads (short & long) on most of the 18 holes, making it ideal for competitive coed play.

Perfectly maintained w/ easily sighted baskets.

The trees are exquisite. They have obviously been pruned w/ a high degree of care & professionalism for many years.

Handicap accessible, not sure for restrooms though. A very clean, dog friendly Park. The smell of all the native flowers in late summer is incredible. They have wooden owls perched in various places. My first thought was, where is all the goose droppings, then the wooden owls made sense.

Hidden gem in Evergreen Park. Me and my puppy, love walking along the path and enjoy stopping to see the horses in the barn. The park is well maintained , and doggie bags are readily available. 🐕💩

I walk at this park a few times a week with my dog because she thinks horses want to play with her. The park is always clean and well kept.

Beautiful, well kept park. Very nice disc golf course. Very pleasant to walk through.

The most Serene Sunday morning secret place... peace to take in God's Beautiful creation🙌🏾,walking the dog around pond , good morning greetings, and oh how a love horses out early getting feed with other small animals...I wish I could do this every morning

Love this park and how they have a barn with ponies, horses, goats and chickens. So cool how it's open to the public for free. There was also a lovely lady there to give us an up close look at the chickens and answered any questions the kids had. Also love to see Groot and Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy, wood carving! It's definitely an awesome place to go sledding in the winter, big dog park, great for playing ultimate frisbee. Friends and that come visit me, love to go to this park. It's such a cool park!

2 huge big dog yards and a small yard for little dogs. It’s a vast area with water fountains for the dogs and you need to have a membership through the village of evergreen park to get in

Went snowboarding at night for the first time. It went extremely fast and it was really fun and thrilling. The hill has a short side for beginners and long side that goes really damn fast.

Great outdoor space with a farm, open field, and dog run.

Great disc golf course

This is my go-to quiet place. I come here to exercise, watch the horses, watch the dogs play, and to journal. It's a nice, serene, and peaceful piece of nature to get away for a few hours from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Played disc golf here. The course is fun even though everything was heavily flooded. Awesome Groot statue is a bonus.

I assume they caption is speaking of the forest preserves. I go on a 2 mile walk 4 to 7 days weekly. Really enjoyable and healthy. The major drawback is when the walkers are sparse, it can be a little creepy and scary, especially for lone walkers.

50 Acre Park is an excellent Park. The Driving Range and staff are personable kind and knowledgeable.

This park is beautiful! It is so well kept, they have an amazing little dog park area which is great and of course...the disc golf!! The disc golf course is very maintained, and it’s just absolutely perfect. My husband and I would describe it as a little oasis in the middle of a busy, urban area! Highly recommend this park for disc golfers, (beginners and advanced) and anyone that wants to enjoy a walk through the park!
But that being said, if you are going to just walk, please be aware of the disc golfers. We are always aware of walkers and we try our best to avoid them but sometimes we make mistakes so just be very vigilant when walking to stay safe!
Thank you to everyone who keeps this park clean, and gorgeous and also, thank you for the bathrooms!!! As a woman, I really really appreciate them! They’re so clean and it relives a lot of stress!
