Anytime Fitness

Super convenient location! Right in the border of Bucktown/Wicker Park area. Their location on West Town is great as well, but this one is the one try to go to. It’s a small gym but most of the people live in the neighborhood and go after work. I go around 6,2, or 11, when it’s not busy and I like it very much. It has great equipment options as well as an area to put mats and do workouts with or without weights. Their prices are pretty cheap, compared to most gyms in this area, and it’s 24/7. What else can you ask for?

Affordable, clean, convenient location, responsive, friendly, and non-pushy staff. I really enjoyed my experience at this Anytime location. Sure, machines were occasionally out of order, but that’s kind of the reality of public gyms and there’s a big enough machine selection that it never impacted my workout.

I really enjoyed this gym and only cancelled when I moved out of state (and there was no location near my new place). The cancellation was honestly a quick and kind interaction over email, which has NOT been my experience at other gyms.

Great space! It's super convenient and hasn't ever been overly crowded. Glad I found this spot once we moved to the area!

I love the staff at anytime fitness! They are very helpful. When I have questions they answer promptly, professionally, and honestly. The fitness coaches are knowledgeable and work with you to design customized fitness goals. The equipment is clean and the location is excellent. it’s a great environment to work out in.

I like AF bcuz it’s 24/7, usually small and easily accessible. I’ve been to many locations, they do differ in terms of equipment. This one has a tanning booth but no hydro massage. One particular reason why I wanted to praise this location is its staff. One person actually. His name is Brandon. Being in so many gyms before, the typical incompetent knuckle scraping team of associates is more than often far from knowledgeable and/or friendly. Usually expecting just that at the gyms it almost appears as Brandon doesn’t belong! He surely doesn’t fall into that category. His polite demeanor always surpassed my expectations. Always super friendly, available, helpful and ready to promptly respond to any inquiries. My membership came to an end and I chose another place just because of a closer location. I can only hope the other crew there will be at least half as nice as Brandon!!! The gyms should be sending their staff to Brandon for training for excellent customer service!!! Thanks Brandon, will miss ya!!!

If you've ever been to a gym you know that most gyms aren't clean or aren't well kept by the staff or the members. This is one of the many gyms i train at and this is only one where its safe to use the shower, toilet, and equipment without thinking "is this clean?". It smells fresh soon as you walk in! Ive been here for 4 years now and i've never had a problem with equipment being broken and not repaired or having to deal with rude or inconsiderate people yelling and screaming like crazy and then dont re rack the weights or wipe the stuff down. Through the years i've even asked management to acquire new equipment as my bodybuilding goals changed and the intensity of my training followed. Management is friendly and will take the time out to assist you in any way they can. I greatly appreciate this 24h gym as it feels like a comfortable home gym. I legit come here to train when i'm in preparation for a contest and don't want all the attention/noise of a big box gym and just want to focus on the goal and train.

Nice mix of all types of machines from your typical free weights, squat racks, resistance bands, ketlebells and basically anything else you may need. The place is very clean and never smelly which can be a problem with other gyms. There is a separate room for doing yoga or more intense workouts so you're not in the way of all the machines. Owners are very nice and are at the location very frequently. They are constantly asking questions on how to improve things and take that feedback to improve things like new machines to purchase or classes to included. Definitely makes a difference having the owners active and involved.

This club is awesome! They do a great job of keeping the place clean, and the temperature is not an icebox like other gyms. I am a pilot and they have been super helpful with freezes on my membership as I have been travelling. Customer service has been amazing, and I thoroughly appreciate all of their help.

Doesn't get better! This gym has everything I could need. Great range of equipment, studio space for classes and that I use to stretch and warm up/cool down. It's always super clean and the staff is amazing - super nice and so helpful with any questions. It's also in a really convenient location. They have tvs, filtered water machine, tanning, personal training, pretty much everything for a really good price. I come as much as possible.

Great place. Small gym but they make it work. Difficult to get out of contracts and they make you give 30 days notice in advance no matter what (so if you try to cancel in February, good luck). 5 stars for the gym and for Brandon the service rep who helped me out.

I had been waiting to actually see this place. I stopped by a couple days ago and was given a tour of the place. It exceeded my expectations and I was impressed. I really didn't expect it to have the advanced equipment they have. I can check my email from the treadmill.

The manager is a big funny guy who showed me around and made me laugh. He also told me about some benefits that my insurance plan has and some other details.

Made it very easy for me to join. Looking forward to working out there.

Great little neighborhood gym, especially for the price! Very attentive and responsive management, very down to earth. Kept things running smoothly during covid which was a life saver. Could use some updating, but it'll come with time surely.

Unlike the other reviewers, I was able to cancel my membership relatively hassle free. Even though 4 days had passed since I had started, the manager helped me in getting a refund.

Good small gym with the all the amenities required for a good workout. The culture among the members is great and respectful. Everyone re-racks the weights and sanitizes them. Love that it’s a 24 hr gym

No bench press, which is sad, and the way that the power rack is situated, your shoulder joints will be compromised trying to unrack. Has an older floor with give, which is nice as they have a room for cardio. I use that room for dancing all of the times. I cannot speak to the classes that they have recently begun offering.

Staff is awesome. Brand new anytime that looks great and has awesome equipment. The manager helped me out with account stuff even though its not my home gym. Ill go outta my way to go here.

I stopped in at Anytime Fitness on a whim and was greeted by the owner KD. KD gave me a tour of the facility and was very knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition etc. The facility is equipped with state of the art machines. Even the the cardio machines are more fun as they have their own personal tablet attached.
This is hands down THE BEST facility in the area. I would highly recommend it!

Great gym! I can go at any hour of the day that fits my busy schedule. The staff are great and always willing to work with you if you have any issue!

I was previously a member of Snap Fitness for three years (two years in Ferndale, MI, the other at the South Loop location in Chicago). I was pretty devastated when I moved to Bucktown a few weeks ago and found out it would be about a 30-minute transit hike to the closest Snap. After researching 24-hour gyms (I usually go around 4:45 a.m., I found an Anytime Fitness near me. When I visited the location, the staff member was very friendly. Soon after, I found out that the owners frequently work there, which you don't normally find in a gym. I find that to be a perk just because I feel when the owners are in the day-to-day, they generally care a lot more about the operation and their customers. The machines are new along with the actual facility, and everything is very clean. I would definitely recommend this gym to people in the area looking for a 24-hour gym.

Was visiting from AZ, and this facility is the best I have ever seen! No offense to my hometown Anytime Fitness, of course, but they have some really cool new machines here, like the strider and very clean and friendly owners, cheers!
