They have all different sizes and shapes of used lumber. If you were looking for that special board for maybe a mantle for your fireplace or maybe you’re making a top for a kitchen table this is the place to go.
They also make high-quality custom furniture for you. Call and make sure someone is there before going.

Native Woods carry a wide variety of types of lumber. Mike will work to find the perfect piece to meet your need. I was looking for an 18' long piece. Most places just tell you they only handle 8' lengths and tell you to glue them up. Mike provided me with some 16' foot pieces but did not have anything 18' long available. A few weeks later he stopped at my shop (Navarro Canoe Co) with an 18'+ piece of oak for me on the back of his truck.
It was great to have him work to find the piece for me and the drop off service was much appreciated. He has a wealth of knowledge and is willing to share it with you.

Update: I have updated my review from 1 to 3 stars since Mike made an effort to make things right between us by supplying similar quality slabs he had already dried. It took almost 4 months, but I now have some slabs to make some more sawdust.

Boy how I hate to write this review. I had a good impression of Mike when I stopped by his shop and dropped some walnut slabs for him to dry. He told me he had a batch going into the Kiln that week so I decided to proceed with the service as I had a deadline to build a table for a customer with those. Put 50% down and left home happy that I had found someone drying wood in the QCs. I called 6 weeks after I dropped them to inquire about the status of the slabs and Mike said he had no idea when the slabs went into the Kiln - for all he knows it could be 6 weeks after I dropped them. I had to source other kiln dry slabs to meet my deadline. Called again about a month later - no response. Left a voicemail - no response. It has now been nearly 3 months since I dropped my slabs and I know nothing about them and can't reach Mike at all. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this business.

If all you need is lumber, I'm sure this is a great place to go. But if you actually want them to make something for you, good luck! Took my deposit, then more than six months later backed out of the job. I could have had it done twice over during that time.
