Great atmosphere and food. Sit in the back "Italy" area. Try the ice cream after your meal. Love this place! Oh, and really nice small banquet hall attached. Thanks Mike and Veronica!

Great Food!! Good conversation with the cashier, and the staff was very pleasant even though I ordered a Michael's Sub 15 minutes before they closed. Very happy customer!!

Did some carry out. Not the very best for vegetarians (worse for vegans), but the grilled cheese was pretty good and, let me tell you, the people LOVED the meats. LOVED the meats. And these flesh-eaters are locals and regulars and the taste of these meats has not worn off at all over the years. Talked to the owner of the house of one of the eaters and he said they’d been there 25 years and frequent Micheal’s. They trust the people there. That’s what’s important. That’s why Micheal’s gets five of my stars.

In Central Illinois, there is a fierce battle between local Italian places.

La Gondola. Avanti’s. Michael’s Italian Feast. Not only the trifecta of Italian places but also a battle of personal preference. My family and friends grew up on Avanti’s. Others grew up on La Gondola while the rest had Michaels. It seems like once you pick one, you stick to it for life. Bucking that trend, I tried them all and loved them all.

Michael’s has a smaller but very similar menu to the other places. They offer their version of an Italian sub simply called Mike’s Sub. I actually had one today since I was in the area and it was just as good as I remembered. It was served warmed and that amplifies the taste a ton.

Avanti’s has a restaurant you can sit in while La Gondola and Michael’s have areas where you order at a counter and they bring the food to you. While this doesn’t impact my review in any way, it is something to keep in mind if you visit.

After my initial visit, we popped over to FrozenSpoon for some ice cream. While Michael’s has a few locations throughout the Central Illinois area, this one is special in having a local ice cream place as neighbors. Ice cream or not, you can’t go wrong with any of the Michael’s locations.

My grandkids LOVE their bread and Italian food. My grandson said I was the best grandma in the world for bringing them the spaghetti Family Feast for lunch, and my granddaughter gave me a hug when I arrived! It fed me and 7 kids ages 3 to 14, with 1/3 of the sub sandwich left over. I got the fresh bread instead of the liter of soda that comes with it.

This establishment has always had delicious food. It's one thing to be a good server & it's another thing to be a person of compassion. You can be one without the other but this evening I encountered both in the same person at the Germantown location. I wanted this establishment & the world to know that small acts of kindness really do go a long way & is rarely seen today. This establishment is blessed & highly favored because one of their servers carries both of these traits & I am truly grateful to have been blessed with her service. I hope they see the value she brings to this business in which others can learn from. Thank you, Jaylyn, (I hope I spelled that correctly) for your amazing service, compassion & beautiful heart. Take Care, Take Charge & God Bless.

Their lasagna is amazing. The portion is generous so the price is reasonable. Their pizza bread and subs are always delicious. Pick any item on their menu and you won’t be disappointed. The owners are philanthropic and generously support our community.

My favorite place to eat in Germantown Hills. Everything is good, if you like sweet marinara sauce and sweet bread. It's the central flavors in everything they do. Don't forget to try the cinnamon bread...it's dipped in butter and covered in cinnamon sugar. So good! Oh, and they also have good ice cream for dessert at this location.

Michael's Italian Feast is so great for an easy dinner on a busy week night! It's a meal my entire family enjoys. I love getting the family feast with the extra loaf of bread - I freeze it and then make pizza bread out of it on a later date!

Michael's Italian Feast is one of our favorite places to dine in or carry out! There is something for everyone with gluten free and dairy free options, delicious salads, and the most amazing fresh bread! Plenty of options for the children and adults, too! I highly recommend giving Michael's a try!
