Food was fantastic, cooked perfectly and you got a generous amount for the price. Their chips and salsa hit the spot along with their sweet tea. Couldn't have asked for better.

Great local Mexican restaurant. I often find myself stopping here en route to Indianapolis whenever I have the spare time and am looking for some Mexican comfort food. Great food.

Applebee's wait after church was too long for my 91 yr young Mother and I so we came here. Deliciousness! Very nice employees! Very comfortable atmosphere! We will be back!

Moved to the area a few years ago and this is the best Mexican food Shelbyville. Large portion size and reasonable prices. The jumbo frozen house margarita is the best and super cheap! If you drink one plan on a ride home, this coming from big guy. Staff is friendly, been there dozens of times and never had a complaint.

My sister is new to Shelbyville and I live in Indianapolis. My sister had to pick up an RX at CVS. We asked the lady working in the pharmacy if she could recommend a good Mexican spot. So here we are and she was right. Started out with a marg and pina colada for my sister. I didnt think there was much alcohol in it because I couldn't taste it. Half way through I was proven elsewise ;-) Loved the chorizo queso. It was a large serving as well. We ordered the Meson special fajitas with chicken, shrimp, steak and chorizo for two. (forget name) OMG! It was SO good and could have fed four people. Check out that pic and video! We took a LOT home. As Maria walked through the restaurant, most of the patrons watched in amazement as it sizzled by. She was a great waitress btw...I am a water drinker so I really appreciated the huge glass of water they served. We can't wait to go back. M-Sat they have lunch specials. They have 99 cent tacos on Tuesday. They had evening and margarita specials available as well. We are looking forward to my next visit to Shelbyville so we can enjoy this restaurant again.

Met a friend for a late lunch. We were the only guests in the dining room. Food was very good. Hot, fresh, and served quickly! All workers wore masks, and everything was very clean!

First time eating here and it was great! Me and my bf went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't busy. Love the decor (supposedly after the remodeling) and the food was hot and delicious. Hopefully it will be like this again when we go back!

Great family Mexican restaurant, I've gone multiple times over the years and I have never left unhappy. I can't find anything to complain about, If you're in Shelbyville. I recommend going to El Meson for lunch or dinner.

Friendly staff, the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Visit frequently, every 2-3 weeks, as budget allows. Food is great and we'll priced and service has always been A-1.
