5 Stars! Outstanding Doctor! Dr. V has been one of my life's biggest blessings! I found him after years of severe depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, and ADD. I was completely hopeless and did not care to live anymore, the darkness was so deep. Pine Rest was not helping or working. A kind lady at church recommended Dr. V and out of desperation I set up an appointment with him.God, always faithful, led me to Dr. V and he turned my life around. He truly cares about his patients and his detailed note taking is exceptional! I love his motto that the truth sets you free! He gave me my life back! He is organized and goes the extra mile. He relates to you and shares his own experiences to help! Always leads you to God and His Word. Very smart and perceptive. My life has completely turned around since I met him, and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! It SO worth the drive! Thank you Dr. Vreilink! May God bless you and your practice abundantly!

I have been coming here for years. Very professional customer service. I feel Dr. V listens to my concerns and I have seen much improvement in my mental health since I started seeing him. I am very grateful for this practice.

Dr V has a very unique approach to psychiatry. My experience has been pretty amazing. He takes time to listen to what is going on with me presently as well as the past. He is also very knowledgable about medications. Couple these two traits together and he has been very successful in prescribing me medication that best address my symptoms. He is very direct and holds me accountable which I appreciate. The staff is genuinely helpful and nice. They are always pleasant and make you feel like you matter. This office is unlike any psychiatry office I’ve ever been to in the past. All around you can tell Dr V cares about his patients well being. Thanks for all you do Veritas!

My husband has been seeing Dr. Jeffery Vrielink for 3 years dealing with Type 2 Bipolar
disorder (much harder to treat then normal bipolar 1). He values and listens carefully to Patient and Family input and adjust medications accordingly to needs. He is very responsive to emergency calls. His objective is to cure you versus just treating symptoms. We have been extremely pleased with his patient client interaction not only being our doctor/counselor but also being a friend. We appreciate the fact that he is a Christian and values our Deep Love for our Faith! He takes our faith into consideration in all aspects of counseling and prescribing Medication. We also appreciate his ability to use telecommunications as our normal form of appointment. It saves us over 3 hours of driving time for each appointment and feels as though you are sitting in the office with him! Thank you Dr. Vrielink for keeping my husband safe and stabilized mentally and emotionally!

WOW is all I can say!!! I have been beyond amazed at Dr. Vrielink and his staff. Dr V is a kind, patient and extremely competent psychiatric provider, who unconditionally cared for me at one of the most vulnerable times in my life not only from a mental health perspective but also as an imperfect being, longing for a better relationship with my God. This dualistic model has made me thrive. Also, he has some of the most amazing staff in his practice. From the time you walk in they are smiling to greet you, and get you checked in. Working to pay for the services is quick and easy, and are very flexible with payment dates. I wouldn't go anywhere else for support. You should absolutely give this practice a try! You won't regret it!

Dr. V is one of a kind! If you want a Doctor that looks at you as a person (mind, body and spirit) not just a patient, he is the doctor you are looking for. He does not just prescribe medicine, without getting to the root of the issue. A lot of psychiatrists just want to prescribe a medicine to mask the issue. As a patient I feel protected and safe. He has a very big, tender heart, and yet he has a military background. He listens to you. And yet he asks tough questions. He has experienced things in his own personal life, which gives him the ability to relate to patients who may have also experienced some tough things in their life. The name of his practice begins with, Veritas: "The Truth Will Set You Free". This name is what he believes in and he will fight for the truth. I appreciate Dr. Vrielink's appraoch to psychatriatry. I have met other psychatrists and nurse practioners who were not willing to listen. Dr V listens to my concerns and while we talk about meds he offers some counseling. His counseling during my med reviews has helped me grow in my profession as a teacher. I have found his integration with Christianity and psychatriaty to be beneficial. Before when I saw other physicans, even if the meds seemed to be right, the lack of counseling left me hopeless. Dr. V acts like a mentor in which he listens to my concerns, he's empathetic and he helps me problem solve. I also appreicate doctors who share a bit about themselves like their hobbies, it makes them see more human. The fact he shares some information about himself, he's empathetic, caring, truly listens and helps me problem solve makes him the right doctor for me. By talking about faith it gives me hope. As an African American women in her 20s, I
feel safe talking with him and confident in his treatment. My mental health has greatly improved since Dr. V became my psychatrist. He is well educated and he stays up to date on new research and treatments. He helps heal the mind, body and soul. This is why I highly recommend his practice. I think its the best in West Michigan! I feel like I am thriving instwad of only surviving. I am truly greatful for the care of Dr. V.

I have read all the negatives and the positive reviews. The negative ones are complete garbage. I have been going to this office and seeing Dr. Vrielink for quit some time. Never has he ever discussed any issues about another patient with anyone else. Never has he "wasted time talking about his personal life" or made it feel like I never had a choice. He never made mistakes in my scheduling. He has always kept his promises and made sure I was feeling ok. Asking me how I am and what's new. My personal opinion, he is an amazing Psychiatrist. I would and do recommend him to alot of people, friends, and family. He really takes that extra step to make sure you are taken care of. To make sure you are feeling ok and if not works with you. He takes each special day as a blessing. He enjoys his job, which is a great thing. I would hate to have a psychiatrist that didnt care. Been there. It was awful. Not with this one. The staff is amazing. Says hi to me and my children. Dr. Vrielink smiles at my kids and has talked to them before. Dr. Vrielink is awesome. I'm glad he revolves his job around Christ. There is no better way to live. It projects through him on to his patients. I want and am striving towards a Christ like centered life. Being that I have gone through so much, it was nice to know and hear...God is on my side. God is there with open arms to love me even through my mistakes I have made. Dr. Vrielink speaks truth. As his quite stated, "the truth will set you free" so let it be. Dont doubt yourself. Get on down there. Pay him a visit. Its worth it every step of the way!!!

Dr. V has 45 min med reviews and really cares. He also gives you his personal cell phone for closed business hours med emergencies. Needless to say this mother with 4 children all with mental health needs who believes God plays a big part in truly healing and he respects that and is understanding of that. I felt like Helen Hunt in "As Good As It Gets" when she finally found that caring excellent Dr. for her very sick son. When no other Dr. Could get that kiddo better that caring Dr. Did. Well Dr. V has done exactly that for my family and me.

Dr. V has helped me tremendously! Reading some of these reviews are shocking and untrue, hence why I decided to post my own review. I have been seeing him for about 5 or so months. The first meeting is so long because he wants to take the time to get to know you, and try to understand why you think the way you do. He relates his own experiences if they are similar to mine, which I enjoy. Why would you not want to get to know your doctor--especially if he is taking the time to get to know you?

In 2020 Because of Covid and our immediate "No choice" anti social behavior, I wanted to find a veteran Psychiatrist who has had a variety of life experiences to deal with my sadness and feeling of loss. I started my search by going to Veritas Integrated Psychiatric Care Pllc's website in Grand Rapids, and was very pleased to see that this practice was very thorough in explaining what Dr. Jeffery Vrielink's offers and walked in to my 1st appointment confident that this psychiatrist had a good system and was a good person. I wasn't disappointed! Now after 6 months of sessions, He has already solved several of my personal issues and I Feel very lucky to have found him. Dr. Vrielink is upfront, honest and caring, and very real!

He was the only doctor that I had found that takes the time to get to know you. His recording system is top notch and extremely detailed. I would recommend him to anyone I know because he’s the only doctor I’ve been to that has helped me achieve happiness in my life.

I am so grateful to have found and been treated here. I really struggled with my mental health this past year and I was provided care that made such a difference and impact on my life. Anyone can push pills, but when I was struggling it was a blessing to be encouraged in my faith.

He shows an interest in your life, and will give you advice on ways to overcome obstacles that you think are holding you back from your true potential. Been going to him for years and not sure who else I'd go to whenever he retires.

I've been seeing Dr. Vrielink for quite some time. He's been an amazing resource for applying Scripture in a practical way. Unfortunately for the snowflake culture, he refuses to validate destructive thinking patterns.

Dr. Vrielink is an excellent psychiatrist. He shows compassion and is very knowledgeable in his profession.

Top notch. Excellent service. Educated. Takes his time to get to know you. I drive over an hour because its rare to find someone this good and caring and Christian in this field.

The whole team is great. They're all compassionate and genuinely care about their patients. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about, I highly recommend Veritas.
