Mason had a really good experience getting groomed today, they treated him so well! And he was named "groomers bestie" for the day on his report card 😂 and he looks great in his new bandana! definitely recommend this place for grooming and pet care!

Everytime I visit Loyal Companion I am greeted with smiles, a Hi Roxanne!! The ladies at this Store are Remarkably kind, They Genuinely love and care about our pets, as their own.and they Care for their customers as well, I've first hand account of the depth that they care, Im not going to reveal the details because I feel it's something very special that occured between Sitara, and Pearl, and myself, you are both gems!! I feel such a renewal of my Faith in Humanity because of these two woman!!
My heart has been bursting full of such Deep Graditude and Appreciation to Sitara and Pearl!!
My two girls Miss Emily and Miss Mamie sending you ladies much love!! meows, meows of Thank you !!😻😻 It means the World to me, that you care so genuinely!! I'm beyond Blessed to have moved to a town,where knowing know- one, and finding such a great hands on pet store,was a priority for me, and I found it!! L.C. carries all my girls needs especially as my girls are now seniors, like myself..lol

This review is long past due for Loyal Companion in Sanford ME.
Absolutely hands down Best pet care store !! Absolutely friendly, ,caring , pet loving and knowledgeable staff running the Sanford Store!!
I've never had such understanding, concerned people helping me to ensure my two girl kitties ( age 10, sisters). Get the Best nutritional foods,treats, supplements (if needed). Cat grasses, cat nip plants, all fresh! And toys of course!
I consider the people that are working at Loyal Companion some of the most dedicated and Loyal animal lovers I've met since moving to Sanford!!
Many Many Thank yous to Pearl, Erinn, Sitara, Rachel and I know im leaving out names, my apologies ladies, I'll catch you on my next review and past Employees like Monica and others that made me feel welcomed in the store since moving to Sanford 3years ago. These women have gone above and beyond their job descriptions to be here for my girls and myself during some personal medical issues I'm dealing with. Thank you doesn't even begin to cover my very deep graditude and appreciation for all you ladies, mentioned and unmentioned , I didn't intentionally mean to leave anyone out, your all wonderful, I've never once experienced anything negative! ..You all have made a enormous impact on my life and making sure my girls get all they need!! I just can't possibly say enough wonderful things for these sincerely caring individuals at Loyal Companion. I truly hope that if your reading this review that you'll stop by the Sanford store so you may experience the level of professionalism in a very friendly hometown way , they want to get to know you and your pets !!
It's so much fun going in the store while doggy classes are happening, or hearing a very happy dog getting a bath!! Lol

This is the best store around for top quality dog, cat and small animal supplies. They carry all the best brands like Open Farm, Primal raw foods, and Ziwi Peak . The staff here is what really makes this the best place. They are so knowledgable about the products they carry, dog nutrition and wellness, and they have helped me to socialize my rescue dog. They took the time to get to know her and when it came time to cut her nails for the first time, they were patient and made sure she was comfortable. This is my dogs favorite place and these are her favorite people. They are constantly having sales on top of their already competitive pricing making it often cheaper to shop in store than online. Thank you!!

From the time we walk into the store we are greeted and the employees greets our dog by her name. "Oh hey arizona!" And then they offer a treat.
They know arizona is very shy and gets nervous around new people. They go slow and If arizona is not going to them they stop, they respect her body language. She gets groomed by Danielle and I trust her when I leave the store with arizona in her care. I trust arizona will be in safe environment. I have never had an issue with Danielle. She's awesome. We have been taking arizona here for four years and everyone Is so wonderful.

Amanda and Suzanne are fantastic groomers! We are new the area and they welcomed both our pups with open arms. Amanda did a great jump pampering our mixed cocker spaniel and he look the best he ever looked leave the groomers. While Suzanne did a great job making sure our larger dog was comfortable. I highly recommend going to Loyal Companion in Sanford for your next appointment — you will not be disappointed.

Happy 2023!!!! I have to say! Me and my pup Eli LOVE going to loyal companion in Sanford ME!!! Words cant describe how great the customer service is there! They show so much appreciation and so much love to all the amazing animals that go there including my own! Eli and I are so thankful for them! Keep up the amazing work!!!

Grooming station here! They have a points program ( optional) and it adds up fast! I just earned points and basically got this game for free!
Again , 10 out of 10, five gold stars! Ticks all the boxes!

I love the girls at Pet Supplies Plus in Sanford...very friendly, always smiling, they are knowledgeable and caring. I had great fun with my Gus today giving him a self wash and then getting his nails cut and buffed. You cant beat the price for those in between baths...I signed up for the dirty dog special which i highly recommend. the girls are
always accomodating too...i didnt have my glasses on so i could not read the label of something i was considering purchasing and guess what...no problem...they read the label with me and i made the purchase. Love going there....

THANK YOU SITARA! You were so helpful!!! I called on Saturday and was panicking a bit because I needed to get a lot of supplies for my foster dog. Sitara made the experience enjoyable and was full of knowledge. Lacey absolutely loves everything I bought that Sitara picked out, especially her bed! Because of Sitara, I will be getting all my pet supplies from Loyal Companion. Thank you so much!

My wife and I went in to get our basset hound puppy a new harness and leash, Erinn was extremely happy to help and knew her craft!
Customer service is alive and well at this store, everyone there was very welcoming and helpful.
Erinn had a lot of patience for my little puppy, this is our second experience here and we have had excellent luck, I highly recommend this store! You will find everyone here is very helpful 👍

My pup loves to visit Loyal! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and remembers us when we come in. Their self wash is a great deal and very easy to use. Our dog knows when he comes into the store that he will be greeted by name and offered a yummy treat. They even remember that he can’t have chicken and are ready with something suitable. Such incredible customer service.

I’ve never had a negative experience while bringing my dog here. I bring Paisley for her nail appointments at least twice a month and never have a problem booking a slot. My poor Paisley is NOT a fan, but Danielle- the groomer- does fantastic with her. She is very gentle and talks to paisley to help soothe her. I would highly recommend if you struggle clipping your own dogs nails to check in with Danielle at Loyal Companion!

Best Pet store EVER. The employees really make this location. I was shocked to see this was a cooperate company. We were first time Dog owners our first visit was before our baby came home. They were great about answering questions and helping pick out products never tried to sell us just answered questions. Our pup is now 5 months old he has gone here for training. We visit every few weeks all the employees are great they now our dog by name and he loves visiting them. They have amazing deals on dog food and treats. Plus place your order online and pick up in store for another 10% savings. Tell them Eeyore sent you!!

Outstanding store offering superior customer service and a stellar team dedicated to your pet's well being and care. I have been going to Loyal Companion in Sanford for 4 years and every time I walk in the door it is like walking into a room of friends. My pets and I are always warmly welcomed by name, they know my pets and their likes/triggers, my pets are treated with the same level of care as their own pets. If I have questions about foods, behavioral or even health supplements everyone on the team is extremely knowledgeable and I am confident in their advice. The grooming as always been outstanding, putting my pets at ease and spoiling them (heck I tried to book myself for a spa day but they said no humans). If you have not been to the store you and your pets are missing out. I highly recommend Loyal Companion in Sanford Maine.

Excellent customer service! The staff remember our dog's name and she gets so excited to see them each time she goes in. They are incredibly helpful with excellent suggestions for food, treats, gear, etc. They helped fit our puppy to the correct size harness for her. I have recommended this store to many people.

My dog used to hate being groomed and having her nails done. She still won’t let me bathe her so we go to loyal companion for “spa days”. My girl gets the whole works! They know who we are when we walk in the door and always offer treats and love as soon as we walk in. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and really takes the time to establish a relationship with you. They care about you and your fur babies and treat you like family. My dog willingly lets them bathe her, do her ears, teeth, and nails! She comes out nice and clean and nicely trimmed nails! The ladies there are truly top notch! 👌🏻 If you’re looking for somewhere to bring your pets for grooming, I highly recommend them!! They of course have tons of other great products as well! Snacks, food, toys, beds, clothing. I’d give them a 5/5 starts any day!

The staff at this store are extremely knowledgable about feline diet, foods and supplements. I have 3 cats but my senior, 17 years old, is such a challenge, with food allergies and sensitivities. They worked with me to put together a diet that he likes, doesn’t upset his stomach, he can keep down, and his scratching has almost disappeared. They are also a lovely group of people. Thank you and keep up the great work! 😺

Our pup, Burton, is always welcomed with open arms and recognized by name. The employees here are amazing, especially Monica who has helped us with our dog since he was 8 weeks old. The level of care is extraordinary. We go to loyal companions to purchase dog foods s accessories, training with Renee and grooming with Allison. It is a one stop shop for us and so comforting to know they all love and care about our pup as much as we do!! (which we feel is rare to find!)

Wonderful staff. I take my Pekingese there for his grooming and they do an awesome job. He is an old guy and gets a little nervous but they handle him with gentleness and kindness. Highly recommend their services.
