I was 27 and a mess. Diabetes, morbidly obese, stage 2 hypertension, high cholesterol, and no energy.

Dr. Carlson saved my life. And every single staff member there legit makes you feel like you’re chatting with a best friend. They keep it professional, but lighthearted. A big thing to mention is that Dr. Carlson will tell it to you straight while still exhibiting outstanding bedside manner. She will do everything in her power to find the ROOT cause without using ONLY medication as a permanent band-aid. She listens. Gives you time to talk. She has listened to me cry, vent, and talk about my fears while reciprocating intently. Thank goodness for Dr. Carlson, her staff, and her quality of care. 💕

I really like Dr Dahger. She actually listens and seems to care quite a lot! Definitely keeping her as my PCP until we move! 10/10

I’m an army vet so all of my medical care is done through the VA, but my husband is a patient of Dr. Carlson’s at Pillay Internal Medicine & I attend his appointments with him & we share the same perspective concerning his care. If you’ve ever felt as though you’re on a conveyer belt, or treated like a number, I can promise you will not feel that way here. Dr. Diana Carlson is laser-focused on the needs of her patients, & spends the time & attention necessary to ensure no stone is left unturned & nothing is missed. If you’re interested in superb quality medical care, you can KNOW you will receive the best of care from her. We always leave her appointments knowing my husband is in excellent hands which is extremely comforting, & for that, we are thankful.

We left an office that had gotten too big and we were looking for doctors who would really personally oversee our care and we found them! We've been there over a year now and they have been fantastic. I (50) see Dr. Carlson and my husband (52) sees Dr. Pillay. They are common sense people who don't treat you like an insurance claim. Their whole friendly office feels like a small town doctor. They go above and beyond to make sure you are healthy. No long waits, no red tape, it is just easy.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Carlson. I was already familiar with Dr. Pillay and the 2 residents present from an unfortunate recent hospital stay. From start to finish I was really pleased with each individual. Including Lisa and the young lady at the front desk. I felt comfortable and at ease due to the level of professionalism this whole team carried themselves in. Everyone was personable and easy to talk to. They were very knowledgeable of my situation and made great suggestions. They even recommended some movies to watch, that’s a first! Although my experience with this place is short I would not hesitate to recommend my friends/family to go here.

My doctor was very kind caring and had great bedside manner s. She explained everything so I could understand and I have a lot going on. I am a hard blood draw and the girls were very kind and as gentle as possible. They are making referrals easy as well which is a bonus when you need specialists!

Dr. Carlson does not simply put a bandage over any medical issue. She gets to the root cause. She listens, cares, and exhibits great knowledge. She holds me accountable and makes sure I follow though on any treatment she recommends. Lisa and Michelle are kind, funny, experienced, and wonderful people for the face of this office. I don’t necessarily look forward to coming to any doctors office, but this team of strong, empowering women make it not so bad.

I loved my first visit at Dr. Dagher’s new office. The first desk staff, Michelle and Sarah made me feel extremely welcomed. Dr. Dagher has thee best bedside manner. I am grateful to be her patient.

Dr. Pillay is a very thorough physician. He explains everything to you, gives you options when neccessary and genuinely cares. I started to see him after I saw how he treated my partner. I recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for a doctor. Highly recommend. His office staff are AMAZINGLY helpful and are just wonderful. I have not had a bad experience there.

I have been with Dr. Pillay since he opened his doors. I have referred many people to him. I have always been impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. He is determined to get to the root of the problem. He listens and is interested in your feelings and concerns. He has a wonderful staff. They are friendly and efficient.

Doctor Pillay takes his time if you have questions, informative, knowledgeable, compassionate, reliable and always there when you have a medical problem. Staff is consistently friendly and very helpful.
Mom has reached 87 after 10 years of his care.
We transferred to Pillay after he took care of Mom in the hospital. He made immediate improvement to Moms life!

One of the best decisions I made in recent years was to select Pillay Internal Medicine as my primary medical facility and Dr. Diana Carlson as my personal physician. In combination with the doctors at DMC, she literally saved my life with her pursuit of the medical issue that was slowly killing me. Fortunately I am on the mend now, but Dr. Carlson continues to look after my health by following up on the responses from the specialists. I should note that the support staff at Pillay have been great too-- they seem to make the office run very smoothly. --JB

I've been with Dr. Pillay since he first opened his practice in Walled Lake. He has always answered any questions, been thorough, and I've always had the upmost confidence in him as my phycian. Appointments have always been easy to schedule, and when I've needed a Specialist, he's always led me in a right direction.
