Dr Swanson is always awesome great personality very knowledgeable and is always welcoming. Dr. Kyle Swanson from the first time I saw him did not hesitate about me needing total knee replacement and showed compassion and empathy for how it was affecting my quality of life. There was no lecture or judgment about my obesity. He was honest with me and said it would not be an easy recovery but it would be better than how my knee was bone-on-bone. Attending the joint class prepared me for surgery and completing preop exercises a week before was beneficial. The surgery was performed at River's Edge hospital and along with my surgeon, all the staff there were kind, patient and compassionate. On my day of discharge, Dr. Swanson told me motion was key to my success. At my 2 week follow up, Dr. Swanson celebrated my ongoing recovery and gave me the credit saying that I did the work and I am positive. Dr. Swanson excels and cared. Why would you go anywhere else?

Dr. Swanson has excellent bedside manner and made me feel at ease with the procedure I was going to have done. The visit went much better than I had expected and I left feeling assured I was given the best care and had all of my questions answered. The entire staff from reception, to nurses, to Dr. Swanson was friendly and helpful. Overall great experience!

Best day ever! Dr. Swanson said I could try a cortisone shot in my knee after reviewing my MRI. A lot of fluid was removed and the pain relief was immediate after the cortisone was injected! I’m happy I don’t need surgery at this time!

Dr. Swanson is cool and I never felt the need to question his advice. While I did not enjoy having a knee replacement because I’m not a sadist, I would not hesitate to go back to him if I needed another one. Also, the physical therapy department at OFC is excellent.

He took the time needed to explain what would be happening and the importance of my participation, in excercise and therapy, to maximize the results.
