Surf Taco - Belmar

My first time at Surf Taco. To start, Anna, the cashier was so sweet and willing to assist me in making a choice.
I ordered a 2 taco combo which included rice, beans, tortilla chips and a fountain drink $11.55.
Each taco can be a different choice.
I chose 1 tempura fried shrimp taco and 1 beef taco. Both DELICIOUS!!!! The shrimp were huge, tasty, not greasy and topped with shredded cabbage and white cilantro sauce.
Anna asked me if I would like the beef taco shell crispy. Of course I said yes. It was obvious that the shell was fried fresh right before serving and loaded with tasty , quality ground beef and piled high with 2 mixes of shredded cheeses.
The plate was piled with white rice and black beans. A whole lot of food, enough for 2 people to share. Anna, you will be seeing more of me. Thanks for being so nice!!!

The food here is always awesome. Their salsa bar is nice also.

Although there was a wait for the food this time, I have never been disappointed with whatever we order. Always delicious and fresh. It is my favorite place to eat whenever I come to the beach in NJ.

Great spot for a quick bite! Not too pricey and hits the spot after a Long Beach day at the jersey shore! Staff is always so nice and treats you amazing! Also free stickers!!!

We absolutely loved the Surf Taco we visited a year ago in a different location, and sought out this one for our 2022 beach trip. It didn't disappoint! $27 covered small meals and tip for two people, and the quality is fabulous. We love the salsa bar!

They had no problem at all with my food allergy, and handled it perfectly.

(Me: Mahi Taco. My partner: Buffalo chicken burrito. Two bottled drinks; we didn't see the fountain until too late. The taco and burrito each came with a handful of tortilla chips, not heated but still fine.)

Big servings. Go for the combos. Had the fish taco and it was pretty good.

Went here twice in just a 2-week window. The staff were helpful in answering any confusions I had. The food was also great. I ordered beef tacos both times I came here for dinner.

I also like that this place has free chargers for both iPhones and iPads. I brought Bluetooth headphones with me both times I went here, so I was still able to listen to radio stations out of Central/Northern Arizona while waiting for my portable charger and my iPhone to reach sufficient battery for a 5-Hour trip back to campus.

Surf Taco never disappoints. Today it was the garlic shrimp taco and a buffalo soldier burrito. Gets crowded but worth the wait.

This place is the best. This is not a five-star dining establishment. Pretty much picnic tables and take your food away from a counter. It's excellent food! Very fresh, very homemade and their homemade sauces are to kill for! Try the hottest of hot. Take it slow! The fish tacos are excellent! Not to be missed...

Bailey who works at the belmar location at the counter is a refresh in the world to see as a young worker. Being in the customer service industry myself I know what comes with it. She was so on point and observant about everything going on around her and was quick to clean up after guests once they had finished. She took her time on the phone order with me and made sure the order was exactly how I wanted it to be. Even though this is just a small job in Baileys young life right now, I know this girl will succeed in all things she does in her life. Don’t mess with my girl Bailey!!!!!

Everything is delicious and fresh, and consistent across their different locations. Try the Baja Surf Taco or the Chicken Krunch Pocket. So good!

This place has really great tacos, burritos, and nachos! They also have smoothies. I usually get nachos which is a huge portion...definitely enough to share. They do some seasonal dishes like buffalo calamari which is awesome. They have a kids menu and lots of seating. You can call ahead for pick up.

What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said? Legendary South Jersey staple. Great menu, clean, friendly staff. Best of all, the location is perfect. If you’re looking for a quick bite that’s light on the wallet and heavy in your gut, order some good stuff and grab a few stickers. You won’t be disappointed.

What's not to love? Best tacos ever. Endless salsa. Rasta vibe. Best antidepressant ever. I don't even know or care what else is on Main St. in Belmar. I will love this place forever. There are other locations but this one has superior service, cleanliness, and execution. If it's mobbed, don't be scared, they're used to it and will still execute perfectly and swiftly!
