Stop & Shop

Very clean, some items were out of stock and selections were slim on certain items. Organized and large plenty of room in the aisles. Not very busy on a Friday morning. Bathrooms were clean.

I had an emergency late night at 9:59, a minute bedore closing i pull up to stop and shop looking for diapers after my daughter pees through. Im in a pinch, none of the 24 hour walgreens carry a good selection, the specific diapers right for my daughter.

As the store manager turned people away, i ran up and said "really quick, just diapers". He said sorry were closed. I thanked him and walked away.

Suddenly, i hear a voice as im walking away, "ah its diapers, i cant have you not get them", and i turn around and bolt in. I grab my diapers and he even reopened a register for me because they were all closed at this point. Otherwise my only option would be in new hyde park which would cost me an extra hour of driving.

Stop and shop serves the community with the essentials food items for the culturally diversified region it is located. The store continues to maintain cleanliness during the operation hours. The staff welcomed and recognized the presence of client. The grocery are packed with care and neatly bagged. I was impressed with the service provided . Thank you to the management and the staff for meeting the needs of the citizen.

The place is very clean and I love the store. The 5 stars go to the store . There is just one cashier that is always the only register open at 7:00 am. She is always standing in the register next to the self check out side.
She is always very rude, I don't know what her problem is, but she is not careful when scanning the groceries, she throws everything in a bad way , I said good morning twice, she doesn't respond. After that I don't go to her register, I tried to do a self check out or I go a little later to go with other register. She is RUDE.

I really like this store for variety and selection. Their stock is not too abundant, but you can find what you are looking for- except actual Wild Rice. They only had a rice blend that contained Wild Rice, so I had to purchase that one item elsewhere. They lost two stars for safety; their parking lot is poorly lit at night. I won't shop there after dark because the lighting in the parking lot is almost non-existent.

I could not be more impressed with Stop and Shop ownership and management. I received a direct mail response from the ownership with genuine concern and straight-forward plans for remedy. Within a brief amount of time, the lighting in the parking lot was corrected - the parking lot was well lit and I am back to shopping this location at night! Thank you Stop and Shop for paying attention to your valued consumers!

My experience at Stop & Shop this morning was excellent. The store was not crowded. The store was clean and organized. They were shopping carts available. I used the self check out and it was not crowded. Great experience.

They typically have everything I need. They have been especially great during this quarantine

Update: renovated and got a tank for live lobsters. Still my go to for quick grocery purchases

The employees are very nice. There is a wide variety of products. The prices and discounts are wonderful. I am very happy with my experiences at this grocery store.

After the previous manager Busted her chops to upgrade the store and she did a Miracle! Corporate is closing the store anyway!! I am. Not.... happy with this. I mean Nicole did a great job as seeder! She tea sformec customer service ! I don't get it...why are they closing this store?

The staff that I interacted with were so friendly. Lines were short. The store was clean. Great experience. Fully stocked at all times. Plenty of parking available.

I have been shopping here since they opened up. There food are always fresh, and I love ordering at the deli section. Stop n shop is a wonderful place to shop. The workers are very friendly will help you if you ask. This is the main place to shop for food here.

I must say our pharmacist here is always great. He is patient and when I pick up my grand pops meds he always have it ready. Let's say he remembers his patients . Always with a smile on his face . Thank you

Great parking,clean,well-stocked, great selection,helpful staff,prices a little high but am willing to pay for the convenience of having a store of this calibre in the neighborhood.Too bad that this store will be closing in a couple of months.When we were looking to purchase a home in this area I was glad to see a Stop and Shop nearby now they are closing.What can we do to keep this store here?

I was there helping my sister shop for my niece who has cerebral palsy. The ample parking and tree shade made our in-car wait pleasant. Stop & Shop Is the supermarket buys groceries from.

The staff were friendly, the produce was fresh, and the store was spotless.

I shop here at least sometimes 2-3 times a week the sales are good even though sometimes they don't always have some of the sale items I guess because the sale is so good they run out and the meat is always fresh the workers are courteous

I was in the hempstead ny stop&shop the cashier Jennifer was so nice and helpful jennifer did not complain that she was the only cashier working jennifer just keep working and moving the line with a smile the manager stood and did not help the people whith a lot of items in their cart the cashier this cashier was great stop n shop please make your managers help workers and stop being lazy.remeber customer service first

Nice visit however store hasn't had Badia roasted garlic seasonig for a while. I order large container from Amazon while in store.

Can be pricier than some other places (like Western Beef, Associated, etc.), but I love the quality as well as the diversity of offerings (vegan, gluten free, natural foods, etc.)
