Quality Suites NYC Gateway

We checked out today from here. Our stay at Quality Suites NYC Gateway was absolutely fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, accommodating all of our requests with a smile. Their wonderful service truly enhanced our experience and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to New Jersey Metro stations, making our commute to NYC a breeze—just a quick 30-minute ride. Being able to explore the city while staying in a comfortable and convenient hotel was a major plus. I can't wait to visit again and will definitely choose Quality Suites NYC Gateway for my next trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience in the area.

A great option for a budget friendly stay if you’re visiting NYC and don’t want to pay Manhattan prices. The rooms were clean and simple but definitely felt comfortable. Staff was very friendly, and they had waffles at the breakfast bar (always a plus). They are strict about breakfast cutoff but not unfriendly. We took the bus in to the city everyday and it was only about a 20ish minute ride. Definitely cleaner and more comfortable than a lot of budget friendly hotels we looked at in Manhattan. No crazy frills but a nice clean comfortable stay.

The room and hotel was very nice and clean. The furniture were very modern and the staff were very friendly too. I was surprised that the room had a refrigerator and a coffee maker. highly recommend this hotel.

Our son had to have major surgery at Mt. Sinai. I discovered it was not very convenient to the hospital(my bad). But this place was top notch. Shuttle service into Manhattan was awesome. My son will need more surgery in the future because he had complications. We will definitely be back. It was the best hotel stay we've had this year. Thank you so much.

We had a great time at this hotel on Saturday night, July 8, 2023. They let us check in early at noon, which was awesome. The lady at the front desk was really helpful and friendly. The hospitality staff members were also nice to us. The rooms were amazing, with lots of lights, comfy beds, and plenty of pillows. We even found extra pillows and blankets in the drawers, which was a nice surprise. The best part was the breakfast, they had so many delicious things to choose from. It was a bit pricey, but that's understandable since it was a weekend. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Stayed here the night before our cruise and highly recommend doing that. It made getting to the port so much more relaxing, and it was a very easy drive.

Is kind of places what I'd like to call a great low key spot. I chose this particular hotel because I was in town for an event. The hospitality in the convenience of the location is great the hotel is clean it is safe the rooms are spacious they offer continent to in the morning it's. Literally right off of the highway and the price was so economical I absolutely appreciated and definitely recommend that if you stay in the area you consider this chain and location.

Stayed here after reception and for wedding at this location off Route 1 busy location. Good parking and efficient service In checking us . Our room was booked way in advance making sure we had good accommodation for relaxing and enjoying our stay. Breakfast was with usual make yourself waffles. Had long wait due to full house that it over 70 rooms with at least average 1-4 persons per room . Housekeeping was done really well with stocked towels etc. ours was corner room which seemed larger then most rooms we had stayed in hotels.

Great place to stay. Clean. Great friendly staff. Close to bus terminal for trips into NYC.

Stayed here September 2022 for 5 nights. Great hotel, was clean and tidy. Staff were great. Breakfast was very basic but that's the only negative. Seen a lot of 1 star reviews, had no issues and would stay again and recommend.

Pretty decent room for a 2 night stay. Bathroom and bedroom looks very clean, staff was very friendly and pretty helpful. The gym room wasn't to bad, I wish they have a set of dumbells but that's alright. They didn't have much of an option for breakfast. Like the other comments say, they only provide muffin or muffins bites, granola bars and orange juice along with coffee/tea. Overall not a bad place to stay for the price!

I felt like I was at an expensive hotel suite! I got a room with a king size bed and a jacuzzi and when I got their the receptionist (Veronica) was friendly and knowledgeable and assisted me with everything and answered ALL of my questions. The room was clean and tidey. We also had a great veiw of the highway and sky. The decor was nice and modern as well. It is a great value for the price. They ecen had a small free breakfast for everyone.(The waffles are delicious btw). Free wifi service. Whether your going for a small getaway like we did or a family vacation and need to stay or even a business trip this is great choice and I higly recommend this hotel.

Great stay!! I love the free breakfeast! How can you beat that! Great location very close by to jersey city!! they offered free parking. I was looking for a room badly and had no success around the area, gave them a call and they found me a room right away!😃

The room was big! Very clean and very comfortable for both me and 2 adults. I had one of the best sleeps there! very quite and room was filled with goodies! A complete kitchen with a great room design and many more. If i would to ever come back to upper NJ ill definitely book a room in comfort suits!! It was a great experience.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking in the NJ area that fits the bill and provides great amenities try them out ! You won't regret your stay!

As someone who works for a hotel, when I check into another hotel I always find it interesting to see the differences and see how they perform. I was very pleased with my stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is decorated well and kept in good repair from what I can see. They have a business center that is very user friendly.

Our room was great, the bed had two different kinds of pillows(firm/soft) and the sheets were pristine. They had a helpful book in the room of addresses/phone numbers you might need instead of having to sift through a phonebook, an alarm clock, coffee pot and microwave and mini fridge. All worked wonderfully. We also had a small couch in our room and a desk and chair. The room didn't feel cramped at all, and the bathroom was bigger than I expected. The shower worked well and had an adjustable shower head to change water pressure. The rooms had Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion/Face soap/ and Hand soap and Staff changed these every time we got room service as well as any towels we had used. They also provided an ample amount of towels. It felt very well-stocked and we didn't have to ask the front desk for extras of anything which was great! The breakfast is quite amazing, offering different kinds of bread products, pastries, oatmeal, two kinds of waffles, eggs(scrambled and boiled), Sausage or bacon, yogurt, juices and coffee and they had a T.V. running the news in the morning over breakfast.

Overall, I will definitely stay here again, recommend the place to others, and hopefully bring the same attitude and some ideas back to the hotel I work in, because they were exceptional!

The hotel staff was really great. When I arrived I was greeted in the lobby by someone who appeared to be going on break. I introduced myself and made my request known. He stayed with me until the other staff covering for him was able to help me. I arrived around 1230h They assisted me with checking in early even though it was not previously requested. My room was clean, it had a kitchenette area with a microwave and a mini bar, the bed was comfortable. I was totally impressed with the fact that they provided shower caps and Q-tips. Breakfast was great, I stayed 2 night and found they offered a variety. I chose this location as I wanted to do some sightseeing in NYC and hotels in NYC is very costly in addition to daily parking rates. The hotel offers a shuttle service at a reasonable price however, I didn’t use it. I took public transit to Manhattan which was only about 30 mins commute including walking time to the bus stop. Overall, it was a great stay. If and when I do visit NYC again I’d def be staying here!

Was very skeptical at first because of some negative reviews I seen but absolutely loved it here ! Will definitely come back !!

Upon arrival, the reservation was messed up and they accidentally booked us for a one bedroom room instead of a 2 bed. They quickly remedied the situation and got us our room. The room and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the staff was friendly. They are also 5 minutes from the park and ride into New York City. All and all, I'd be happy to stay here again.

We had a great 2 night stay here. The staff was very kind, clean rooms and I loved the outdoor cats in the parking lot. We chose this hotel specially because it had a big and safe parking lot for our van, even tho our destination was in Brooklyn. It’s about a 45 min drive to Brooklyn during avoiding tolls / 30 min no traffic - but was totally worth knowing we had a guaranteed safe place to park at night.

Great service from all staff. Conveniently located from Manhattan and the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Hotel allowed me to leave my car at the hotel for the duration of my cruise for $10/day. Very good breakfast served daily - including in hotel charge. I don't think you can find a better deal in this area. Highly recommended!

Very nice rooms. The rooms have amenities like coffee machine and iron press for clothes. The bathroom has bathtub and hair drying equipment. The mattress is comfortable and bedsheets and linen is clean. There is a dressing table and windows have nice view of outside. You can open them and have an idea of outside temperature without actually having to go outside. The staff is very helpful. But if you order something you have to go to front desk to get it. Overall a good experience.
