The rooms washrooms were ok. Food is good and space for parking.

Reasonably priced for last min booking nice rooms and staff was very accommodating.

Absolutely happy with the service! Our room was newly remodeled and spacious (surprisingly much better than the pictures online). Bathroom was nicely cleaned and beds were comfortable. Location is beautiful and close to New York. We used the daily shuttle to visit New York and coming back to the hotel. The room temperature was cool as it was pleasing to enter the room after traveling in the summer heat! Overall, staff was helpful and a decent place to stay with family! We will surely return.

Services are good in this hotel...food is amazing

The lady at the front desk on September 8th, 2021 5:20pm saved my life by letting me use their bathroom. I was feeling super awful and after getting rejected by the hotel (Quality Inn) right across, the lady at the front desk took me in. I will never forget your kindness. If she is this nice to a complete stranger, I can't imagine she will be any less kind to guests staying in the hotel. I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management from Penn State University and I will happily refer anyone I know to live here, should the need arise. Thank you so much. You saved my life. Also there is plenty of parking and everything looked spotlessly clean.

The front desk staff were super helpful. We were quite tired after a long drive and the staff assisted us with an early check in. It’s affordable because it’s located just outside the city but it’s extremely clean, comfortable and the staff is very professional, courteous and helpful! The hotel is about a 10-15 minute ride to the Journal Square Path train station. Nice and easy commute to NYC, without the traffic issues or parking prices. I will stay there next time in future trip to NYC

I have stayed at this hotel extensively over the course of the last several months and have found the service to be excellent. All staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds. They also have a pretty good buffet breakfast and offer shuttle service to and from the nearby airport. I would recommend staying here to anyone.its near to newyork city. Best location

Loved the location. All of the Staff very attentive and friendly. The room was very nice and the hotel staff was very accommodating. We had an amazing experience during our stay at the Howard Johnson North Bergen. It very well worth the stay. Definitely would stay at again.

Plus if you want something to eat it is right next to taco bell and dunking donuts also if any one likes india there is a place to eat a lot of that

Pretty nice hotel. Not bad. Staff is a bit creepy and one of the guys in the room service looks like he eats kids. No joke. He seriously does. But besides that nice rooms.

I don't think there can be a better staff than this.

We were stuck at Newark for 5 hours, made a reservation and then United opened anew flight. My reservation was cancelled without a charge! Thank you for your kindness. Sincerely, a very weary traveller

Beautiful hotel, clean and staff was very helpful. For the price nice that breakfast, wifi and parking were complimentary.

The room was amazingly large it was very clean the breakfast was absolutely delicious I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting New York it's right outside the city of course going in through the tunnel is always congested but you can see the New York side you can go to Liberty State Park and see across the bay to see the skyline it was just a great place to be in the middle of everything

The property location was ideal for our needs during our stay. Very spacious rooms which is great if you’re planning to stay with family.

This was the only place that let me leave my car after I stood over night and check out time was up and my car broke down and they gave me no problem to leave it on till I had the time to pick it up ty

Clean polite and very comfortable atmosphere in this motel. I recommend Howard Johnson's for the place you rest your head while traveling.
