Long Beach Public Library

The guy who works the front desk is very professional and nice. He helped me print out my documents when I forgot my library card. He also ran outside with my ID when I left it at the front desk before I got into my car and saved me a trip back. He is the man!!! Highly recommended customer service.

Library is fabulous great place to research as well as work on your personal laptop , Love the special events held from time to time on the second floor. Great opportunity to meet people in the community you would not have met before outside of church or your normal social setting.

My photography group was asked to create an exhibit for the summer at Long Beach Public Library. Jeanine, Mike and the ENTIRE team at LBPL were professional, organized and supportive with assisting us in the preparation process, media support and promotion every step of the way. They were easy to work with and helped to create a successful reception. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

WOW -- what a great library. Julie helped us get (free!) library cards for our family and link them together and explained all the benefits that allow us to watch movies for free online and listen to audiobooks. There are also great classes for toddlers (upstairs) and community offerings like a comedy open mic night on Thursdays! Definitely come and check it out if you haven't been recently!

The library is very quiet and excellent for college students like me to get away and focus. The staff is very attentive and helpful and gives off a warm welcome. There is a great variety of seating as well as literature. Not only do they have a great selection of books but they also have great museum passes. From various resources such as movie streaming services and thoughtful people, this library never fails to impress.

I come here to study in the quiet room so I can only really review the quiet room. Each table has 2 outlets to charge electronics so that was thoughtful of the library. There is free WiFi available. They keep the library clean as well. I wish there were more tables in the quiet room however. The quiet room is small and only has 5 tables so that's a downside but considering the small size of the library, that's understandable.

The Long Beach Library folks, especially Jeannine and Tom, were instrumental in setting up an online Writers Forum for our organization Long Island Authors Group. The event was this past Tuesday and very successful! They publicized the Forum, set up the zoom technology, and Jeannine even helped out with questions during the presentation. Kudos to Long Beach Library, we look forward to working with you again!

Long Beach library has so much to offer, yet there are people who don't know about the videos, audiobooks, music, and so much more! They even have books! The staff are so helpful and I could go on and on. If you are a student or own a business and have questions about pretty much anything-they can help you find the answer!

Attended Sip and Paint was great experience for first time painter. Jeanine, shakira, and instructor were a pleasure. I hope the library does another sip and paint event in the future..

This place is the greatest!!!! They always have the book I want and the employees are very nice. They give great book recommendations and the have great events upstairs! Long live long beach public library!!
