Mineola Memorial Library

One of the great pleasures in my life is having father/daughter time. We have visited quite a few so far and the Mineola Memorial Library has one of my favorite children's section. It is located in the bottom floor away from the main library. What I Iike about that is that toddlers can be toddlers which is a little noisy and it's OK. No reproaches from the librarians or the adult patrons. I also like when a librarian greets the parent and the child. It is inviting. There were some very pleasant children playing with a nice selection of toys. Luna made friends. The selection of books was plentiful and the didplays were neat. Outside the library there is a very nice park for the children to play. Not part of the library but part of the town's cultural design. A library worth revisiting with your child.

I visit Mineola Memorial Library practically every week, and have always been impressed by the professionalism of the staff. A case in point took place this past weekend: I entered the library to drop off a video I'd borrowed. Then, I searched around for something else to watch. When I went to the checkout desk, a book that I'd put on reserve (and had forgotten about) was already waiting for me. Great efficiency and attention.

As NY facilities begin to open, not all services are equally available at all libraries. Though this branch is a bit smaller than my local library, & neither offer computers yet, my own branch will not even allow me & my colleague to sit together to work with the laptop we'd brought ourselves. In recognition of state regulations, Mineola allowed us to do the work we needed to do.
Though we made no use of other services, the staff was friendly & helpful, the library clean & quite charming.

There is a book in the shelf but I don’t like homework I did it for the class but it wasn’t like that I didn’t want to do it in a few minutes I’ll be home in the park lol lol 😆 is here at my grandmas so house 🏠 birthday is Saturday ñat I love you so much fun of it all you guys are going on to do with the family and friends with your friends lol 😂 lol lol 😂 is going to go sledding with her friends lol help my suggested words help now to her and her friends lol lol I’m so excited for her birthday to be my friends friend lol I just got home her birthday I’m deleting this review

One of the most nicest Library I have a seen in my life great atmosphere great staff anything thing you need as far as CDs and books they got it all in the front desk was very friendly great Library simply hands-down the best Library in New York

Great staff. Could use more parking, but it's located by three schools. So parking is first come, first served. .

Friendly & helpful staff. Good selection of books and movies. Great staff in children's room.

Libraries matter whatever the cost. They keep ignorance at bay. Nice staff too.
