Great place! They got me and my cat Harvey in quickly, and all the staff were nice and friendly. Felt very comfortable and at ease. They seemed knowledgeable and we did not wait long. Prices seemed reasonable as well. Harvey even liked licking the cheese off of the vets fingers! Will be returning

Dr. Jamie is amazing! She is very through and very caring. She not only cares about your pet, she cares about you. Also, they do follow up calls to make sure your pet is feeling better!! The staff is also very helpful and patient. I highly recommend Dr. Jamie, Genesee Valley Vet Hospital

Unfortunately, we had to take one of our cats for it's final visit and have her put down. The staff and vet are all very courteous and caring and made what we had to do a bit easier.

With Dr. Scherline retiring, Dr. Marr has taken over care for my two kitties (one with allergies and one with GI issues). She was so knowledgeable and helpful on our first appointment with her, and she was able to prescribe some medications we hadn't tried yet which have really helped! Getting an appointment at most vets right now is a big hassle, but it's obvious that Dr Marr and the rest of the staff are doing everything they can to accommodate as many appointments as they can. We have always loved the staff here, which is why after moving to Buffalo we continue to make the hour+ drive for appointments. The love and care my kitties receive is more than worth the drive!

Dr. Jamie Marr has literally saved two of my puppy dogs, Emme and Curly, as well as helped many of my farm animals including horses, dogs, chicken, and goats. Her knowledge is unprecedented. She was able to diagnose things that only the University could confirm. I have been through so many veterinarians in this past 2 years. She is, hands down, the most intelligent, caring, responsible, veterinarian that I have found in my 30 + years of living with domestic animals. I seriously cannot say enough about the respect I have for her and her practice. Looking through her reviews…. They speak for themselves. Obviously, her one star is a person that does not understand how a veterinary business works. Drop offs don’t mean they are left alone and caged for the day. They are played with, fed, walked, and given attention consistently while she works them in on an overbooked schedule to take care of their needs last minute. Dr.Marr is hands down, the best vet I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve worked with a lot). Thank you Dr. Marr and staff for loving my babies as much as I do.

Dr. Marr and her staff go above and beyond to give my dogs excellent care and to help keep me informed about their wellness and their needs. Staff are helpful and scheduling has been easy. It's been a good practice to use for my dogs' care over the past year. When two of my dogs were in training classes during the canine flu outbreak, they went out of their way to locate the vaccines that my dogs needed. I really appreciate their professionalism and care of my dogs.

Dr Marr and her staff are always welcoming and kind when we visit there. I truly appreciate all that they do to help me care for my elderly cats. They are thorough and responsive, and I feel like we are partners in their care.

I brought my senior dog for routine check up this morning. I had a very positive experience. Dr. Marr was attentive and responsive to my concerns and questions. She was very thorough and very gentle with my dog. My dog was very comfortable with her. The staff was helpful, professional and pleasant.

Dr. Marr and her staff are so friendly and professional! We travel 45 mins to see Dr. Marr. Our fur baby has very high allergies of everything under the sun and she has placed him on meds that have helped tremendously! The staff is so friendly, every time one would come out and saw me in the waiting room they'd said Hi. I highly recommend Dr. Marr and her staff to take care of your fur babies!!

The staff is always so friendly and amazing. My dog has a lot of anxiety and often times vet visits are very overwhelming for her. The staff here always gets on the floor to make her feel comfortable and more acclimated. They always take the time to explain everything in full detail and answers all of my questions. They are absolutely wonderful.

i never leave reviews on things but the people who work at this Vet clinic are some of the nicest people ever. they are incredibly helpful and so caring . it's super reassuring to feel so much trust and safety when taking my cat in for whatever he needs. i couldn't recommend them more. :)

I have had Dr. Scherline take care of all of my pets for the last 30 years
and I have always been very satisfied because he is very thorough and has always given my pets excellent care. He and his staff are to be
commended for a job well done and the compassion they show their
customers truly comes from the heart. You will not find a better veterinarian
in Livingston, Monroe or surrounding counties. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Marr and her team are amazing!! I've only had wonderful experiences at GVVH but recently they went above and beyond to save our sweet 9 year old English mastiff. We brought her in & her prognosis was not good.. she needed emergency surgery and there was a good chance she wasn't going to make it. I was absolutely devastated and Dr. Marr was so comforting & kind while also being very professional and informative. It's clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is about her work.The surgery went well and my dog is doing great ❤ I would recommend Dr. Marr 1000%. I am so grateful for her & her team and I'll never take my pets anywhere else!

I had been taking my cats to see Dr. Scherline and his staff for almost 15 years. I was hesitant to hear someone else would be taking over, but any concerns I may have had were soon put to rest. Dr. Marr was absolutely wonderful in taking care of one of my guys with a recent problem and recently took care of the other beastie who needed his shots updated. It is very obvious that her first concern is for the animal with also a genuine concern about the human accompanying them. She was professional, kind and I was very impressed. While the costs of vet care can add up, it is worth every penny to know that your pet is getting the proper level of care and attention, not only from the doctor but from the rest of the staff as well.

Recently we had to have our dog put to sleep. This was very difficult for us. Dr. Marr was kind, understanding, and helped me through this difficult time. Amy, the vet tech was also helpful and went out of her way to make sure my dog was in the best care and was comfortable. Overall, Dr. Marr did her best to make this experience as comfortable as possible. I would recommend to others.

We've been seeing DR. Gene and his staff for 20 years. They're always pleasant and understanding. Today's trip was to euthanize our 16yo lab mix. They make it a more comfortable process. After he fell asleep in my arms, they let me stay with him as long as I needed. Thanks friends.

Had an emergency on 12/7 to put our exotic pet down. They fit us in 30 minutes before close.

Mind you this is not my primary vet, and the staff was so compassionate and apologetic for this animal they had no history with.

I will be forever grateful to this staff.

Side note about financials, other vets wanted to charge between $100 and $300 for the same procedure including my primary vet that wanted to give a physical for my dying pet.

I can't say much about them, but from this one experience I highly recommend them.
