Very friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable curators. I didn't even go there to learn anything but I still enjoyed myself and laughed a lot while meeting wonderful new people. Their character is as rich as the history they preserve.

Great museum and very friendly people! Learned a ton at this well done museum! Had a lot of artifacts that couldn’t be found in the larger museums.

Great museum! Worth the stop. Great volunteers with lots of information. Building may look small but they pack in the history! Fun place.

An amazing collection of everything Erie Canal and one of the villages along the way... a must for everyone who is interested in this man made marvel. A must for anyone who calls Canastota home.

Try to book a tour with Joe. Just walking through and reading info is neat, but he brought it all to life for us. A retired history teacher, Joe made the experience wonderful!
