I have a background in musical theater, which has given me the privilege of working with several singing teachers over the years. I can confidently say that Linda is among the best I’ve encountered.

Linda is an amazing teacher! Not only has my daughter’s singing improved but she’s learning how to sight read and how to perform while singing. Linda helped prepare my daughter for several auditions and NYSSMA. She’s always professional and encouraging. We’ve been extremely happy with our decision to work with Linda and the results! Linda is a talented and wonderful vocal coach with an expert and masterful understanding of voice and theatre. In a short period of time, she has improved the way I approach vocal technique by miles. My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Linda for the last few years. She is dedicated to working with each student according to their ability and encourages them to take risks in order to fulfill their true potential. My daughter came to her as a beginner and is now preparing for musical theatre college auditions. Linda's mentorship, guidance, love, support, and wealth of knowledge have shaped my daughter into a beautiful singer who is more confident with the control, tone, and true vibrancy of her voice.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Linda has helped me grow so much as a vocalist and performer. She genuinely cares for each and every one of her students and it shows in her teaching style. Every time I've had an audition whether for a musical or a choir, I've asked Linda for help and she has never given me a bad song to sing. I've been taking lessons with Linda for a little more than 2 years and even within the first couple of weeks, I noticed immediate improvement. When any of my friends ask for a recommendation for a voice teacher, I immediately tell them about Linda.

I have bringing my daughters for singing lessons with Linda Strasser, and the whole experience has been very rewarding. My oldest presented at NYSSMA; she received a high score and was appointed to SCMIA. Her lessons are amazing!

My 9 and 12 year old have been taking lessons with Linda for a few years. They have both grown as performers and technical singers. Linda teaches them to sing so that they are not damaging their voices. She has coached them successfully for professional auditions as well as prepared them for NYSSMA (both receiving perfect scores). She chooses songs that they enjoy singing but are also challenging. Most importantly, they love having Linda as their voice teacher.

My daughter has been a student of Linda's for 8 years. We are so lucky to have found her. She has helped her with NYSSMA, always suggesting the perfect song, achieving selection to the All State Festival twice. She thoroughly prepares her for auditions resulting in numerous leading roles in musicals in both school and community theatre productions. She hosts recitals and it is fantastic to see the growth in her students. She is encouraging, instilling confidence while teaching proper vocal technique. We couldn't ask for a better mentor.

Back in 2007-8 I was privileged to be the accompanist for a music theater workshop Linda taught for the Bayshore YMCA. It was a joy to work with her; she is a gifted teacher, thoroughly professional, funny and warm, with an amazing ability to connect with her students and bring out the best in her.

I can not say enough positive things about Linda as a voice teacher. Having had several years of voice lessons and then a hiatus, Linda has really helped me get back into it. She listens to what you are looking to improve and focuses on whatever style you are most interested in. She pushes you challenge yourself and has a great sense of humor! I have felt comfortable with her from day one and she has helped me to grow exponentially as a singer. She is great with all ages and experience levels and I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed!

Linda has been a huge part of my daughters vocal journey. You really just cannot invest in a better vocal teacher than her . She sincerely wants her students to succeed and teaches them in a way which is collaborative, honest and encouraging. Not to mention that she is an absolute master of all things voice. She helped my shy daughter learn to use her voice, believe in herself and fly. I am forever grateful for the experience Faith has had with Linda.

Ms. Linda is just fantastic. My daughter has been with her for a bit now and she would not want to be taught by anyone else! She is kind and warm and listens to the students and what their needs are with their vocal journey. Ms.Linda makes the singing about the students. She had been such a bright light. We are so happy we found Ms. Linda!

I am so grateful for Linda. She is an amazing vocal teacher that taught me how to control my belt and embrace my mix!! She inspired me so much to follow my dreams and I am now in college as a Musical Theatre major! I have been going to voice lessons with Mrs. Linda Strasser for almost 3 years now and I would not be the person I am today without her. Linda is a master of the voice and can pull musicality out of anyone no matter where they are on their vocal journey. Linda has changed me as a singer, performer, musician, and a person. She is full of wisdom on the art and also the Theatre industry as she herself has been in numerous Professional productions. As a high schooler learning from a real professional, I have been given immense knowledge for my future, and have been taught at a professional standard from such an early age. Linda Strasser is an engaging, natural educator. I have worked with Linda since I was 9, and throughout the years, she has allowed me to blossom into a mature performer. Not only has she improved my vocal technique and performance abilities, but she has morphed me into a better person. Each new song we learned, each challenge we faced was an opportunity to grow. Instead of being intimidated, I was constantly encouraged. Mrs. Linda Strasser has provided me with all the tools to be comfortable AND successful in all of my future musical endeavors. She has taught me what it means to be a TRUE professional, and her musicianship is an example of what all her students strive for.
After all these years, I always leave each lesson with a wide grin and an extreme excitement for when I‘d come back. I’ve never had a teacher who has so deeply cared about her students like Linda does. Her contagious enthusiasm has certainly infected me, and I would 1000/10 would recommend Mrs. Linda Strasser if you’re looking for an enriching teacher who can expand your talents (no matter what level you are on) to heights you could’ve never dreamed of.

I can't say enough of how great my experience is with Linda. She truly knows exactly what you are looking for to expand your voice and the techniques that show results! She makes the lessons fun, enjoyable and are definitely a part of my week I look up to. I would not be where I am today vocally or musically without her!
