CrossFit Rapture

Visiting Bayshore and dropped in for a morning class. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, it made navigating the gym that much easier. The coaches were attentive and lead a challenging class. I would definitely recommend working out here.

Walking into CrossFit Rapture for a workout brings joy to my day! I have been going there since the day it opened and going there has been better than any other gym experience I have had. I don’t have to force myself to get to the gym… I look forward to going. The workouts are fun and constantly varied. The coaching staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I consider CrossFit Rapture my family and I feel fortunate to be a part of such a supportive community.

Crossfit Rapture is one the few CrossFit gyms that I have been to that are very inclusive. No matter your level, everyone goes out of their way to introduce themselves to you and make sure you are welcomed and feel a part of the family. The coaches do a great job making sure of this! The results of their athletes also speak for themselves.

I highly recommend this CrossFit gym to anyone looking to continue their journey in CrossFit or even just want to try it!

I’ve been a member of CrossFit Rapture since almost the very beginning. Rapture has continued to grow and develop over the years - always improving.

However, the constants have always been the amazing “Rapture family” and invested and knowledgeable coaches. This all comes from leadership of Coach Shane.

CrossFit Rapture is not only an excellent gym but a warm and welcoming community. I’ve been going to this gym since 2019 and every day I’ve grown to enjoy it more. The equipment is all top of the line and the coaching staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and informative. The class size is moderate which allows the coaches to focus on each individual members needs and form all the while promoting a social atmosphere. The owner is supportive in each members unique goals and does so in a kind and respectful manner.

Additionally the programming is challenging and fun. Whether it’s Olympic lifts, Hero WODS, or a long cardio session, the CrossFit Rapture staff is there to help you along the way. They allow scaling for almost every movement. This gives everyone, regardless of skill or fitness level the opportunity to perform and progress towards a better version of themselves.

I could not recommend this gym and this community anymore. 11/10

CrossFit Rapture is an amazing gym. It’s a place where both beginners and people with more experienced feel welcome and challenged to be better than they were the day before. The coaches are experienced, understanding, accommodating, and extremely intelligent. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!!!!

Hands down, best Crossfit Gym on long island. Wonderful coaches who care about their members, amazing facility, clean, & organized...great community. So many friendships made in my 9 years there. The only reason I left was because i couldn't move them to Florida.

Coaches are thorough and detailed with their explanation of exercise movements before each WOD! All movements are scalable based on your experience and limitations! Fun, clean environment! I travel 30 minutes to go here because of the coaches and members, Shane has created an amazing community.

The welcoming community at Rapture is second to none. The coaches and the owner Shane Arikian are always around to offer help and advice. The workouts are challenging and fun. I’m so happy I joined the Rapture family eight years ago.

I was in town because my father passed away, and this gym was so wonderful. When the owner learned about my Dad's passing, he insisted on only charging me for one day (I worked out for several days) and also gave me a t-shirt. What a great gym. I highly recommend CrossFit Rapture.

Can not recommend this organization enough. Since my husband and I have become members we have discovered a new way to stay healthy and keep in shape that is ... FUN. How is it possible that someone like me wants to go work out? It's all about the community of people at Rapture and their excellent and caring coaching staff. All levels of fitness and all ages and body types this place welcomes you with open arms (literally) no drama no competition and no attitudes it's all acceptance and cheering each other on at Rapture.

CrossFit Rapture has been a home away from home for me and my family since the day it opened going on 10 years ago. If you’re looking for a way to enhance your daily routine, then this is it. You’ll get a great workout with amazing people.

My wife and I have been going to Rapture since 2013. The flexibility of classes, open gym availability/space (even when classes are going) and that fact they allow us to bring our kids, is what keeps us coming back.

Excellent CrossFit gym. Provides large space, plenty of equipment, and open gym at all times which is very important for supplemental training and/or higher level programs.

This is not only one of the cleanest well equipped gyms I've ever visited, but literally the best community of people I’ve ever encountered!! Love it
