Shipwreck Cove Spray Park

A small but awesome spray park. Lots a fun for kids and adults. I like to get in early to get a table of my choosing. A few yards from the park is a little beach not good to be in but there's sand and a park with slides swings and a children's zip line. There's also a small store with food and drinks. And beer!

Super clean, lots of lifeguards on staff, fun for a variety of ages and locals. The hours are 10-5:45 and then afterwards you can still have fun in the sun going into the ocean or playing basketball, ziplining and climbing the jungle gym next door. Plenty of chairs, tables and lounge chairs. Not a bad idea to bring your own as well. No food is allowed, but there are picnic tables around it with plenty of shade. Definitely recommend. Price is a bit hefty, but awesome for a special treat or free with the pool pass.

My son is 4 and had a blast here! There are a ton of lifeguards so it is very safe. There were alot of seats around the pool to lay out or sit and watch your kids. I would def come back here w him again.

Fabulous place for kids. So much fun especially during this heat wave. Pricey if you're not a resident but it was worth it to us to beat the heat.

Grew up at this Marina in Bay Shore they now call Shipwreck Cove Spray Park. My children who are now adults grew up here crabbing, fishing, swimming etc. It has come a long way with the addition of kids water park and all the renovations. I know it's February but my beautiful grandaughter Anais loves the playground no matter how cold it is!

Great place to have fun with the kids, place is well kept and staff and lifeguards are always on point if something happens .I would highly recommend checking it out.

My kids (6 & 9) love this place. Easy way to kill 3 to 4 hours and beat the heat. Lifeguards are great with the kids.

Great spray park for a day out with the kiddies. Good for babies and toddlers too! Nice and clean and reasonable price for Islip residents.

Such a great hidden little treasure.Grandsons 2 and 5 had a blast. Clean, and the staff is wonderful.. definitely worth a few hours of summer fun!

Love bringing our grandsons here! They love coming here and playing in the sprinklers and making new friends.

My kids love it here. This pool is always clean and we always have a blast.

I brought my 4.5 and 2 year old there today for the first time and it was awesome!! Very clean, a lifeguard at top and bottom of each big slide, one at the baby slide, several in the water/walking around. Only downside is all the Google search articles say it was anywhere from $12-15 pp for non residents but it was $20. Under 3 is free. Definitely worth the price just wasn't expecting it. There's so much more than just this splash pad but if you have young children and you don't like having them by the beach water, this is perfect for you!! The entire splash pad is fenced in and there are multiple people at the entrance/exit. Definitely felt comfortable if I had to turn my back for a minute and again, the area is super clean. Bathrooms are a different story but that's anywhere public 🤷‍♀

My 2 yr old loves this place. The life guards are great at what they do!!!!!!! They are Very aware of everyone's safety, which from my perspective is ideal.. I Will definitely spread the word and keep coming back!

Definitely a great place for kids and family days. Does get crowded if you don't start early enough but definitely a fun time and the kids love it, so that's the most important part

Beautiful location, I love the pool park it's very fun for kids. I actually had fun too 😅 I love the playground as well, my daughter is obsessed with the mini Zipline. Definitely a great spot to enjoy a nice summer with pool fun , playground fun and also a nice walk on the deck infront of the ocean views. Family friendly for sure.

This place is a hidden gem. It is great for young children. It has the awesome spray park which is a jungle gym of water and a small man-made beach area with lifeguards and shallow enough to be safe for all children. There is a bath house with showers and bathrooms. They also sell ice here and limited choice of food such as hot dogs. Parking is paid by space number and paying at the meter at the parking lot crosswalks where the meters are located. You can pay in quarters or credit card.
