A.J's Grilled Cheese

I love the Mac and Cheese grilled cheese. It was so good. Very cheesy the fries was good as well.... Crunchy and nice. The sauce was great too , I believe it was Ketchup and mayo and pepper and some other things, was great with the fries and sandwiche. Staff was nice and place was clean. Nice place to walk around and grab something to eat with lover or friends and family.

Ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and apple which was just what I expected/wanted.

Tried my friends’ orders and they all tasted amazing and followed the same principle: Thick, buttery, toasted bread with tons of melted cheese in between and lots of protein choices to add to the mix. The menu is expansive and generous portions to share amongst friends. Love that it comes with pickles on the side and no need to order it additionally unless you love pickles.

The beer selection is on point, too! Both draft and bottled beers available.

Came here once as my friend lives nearby and will surely return any time I’m nearby.

The food is as good as the service. Friendly blonde employee welcomed us and gave us a great run down of the menu. We took her suggestions and they were awesome. Portions are decent size and the food is on point. We'll be back. Super cheesy in the best way.

This place is great. Prices can get a little up there but I've posted picture of the small versus large Mac and cheese entrees. I got the large and will get like 3 meals out of it.

Picture doesn't even do it justice. This place always puts out great quality food. The staff is always friendly, and the enviornment is always clean and inviting. One of the best in the area.

They don't only do grilled cheese there are also salads and soups. I work with food safety so if a place isn't clean I walk out. They maintained a clean shop even during the lunch rush. The sandwiches are good sized a perfection! The crust... Sigh so good.

Absolutely delicious food. The sweet potatoes fries were amazing, and we accidentally got a few sweet potato tater tots which were on another level. Got a sampler and every sample was better than the rest. Highly recommended

Got a lobster roll with fries. Fries were delicious and lobster roll was outstanding! Bread was griddled and toasty with buttery crispness on the outside and soft on the inside. Lobster was perfect- not overcooked and chewy. It was gooood! Nice to have this as an optional local and anytime. Refreshing to the food scene around here.guys were great too, informative and super friendly.

I ordered from ubereat, taste delicious and the presentation was great. It was very filling and I was surprised that my sandwich wasn't messy. I will be taking my family to dine in. I'm glad I found another spot to order a chicken bacon bomber.

Been dying to try AJ's. Stopped in yesterday with my 20 year old son. Everything was delicious! I had the philly cheese grilled cheese and my son had the chicken bomber. We also shared a small mac & cheese, awesome!! My son had the Winter holiday milkshake and he kept saying how good it was! Friendly staff, really nice experience, very clean. It can be pricey but worth it!!

When ya need a grilled cheese with some pulled pork in it, this is where you want to go!

This is my favorite restaurant on long Island. We have lost so much during this pandemic and its such a shame this wonderful restaurant is struggling. These are the best sandwiches I have EVER had and I am holding out hope they reopen because I will be first in line to support them. Amazing service and food every time.

Well I do the Mac&Cheese bites are soooooo goood( I don't like many others). The grilled cheese solved all my problems for the day it had Pork, Cheese, Bacon(loads not just a couple of pieces) on sour dough bread. I love the homemade chips which to my surprise were tasty and let's not forget the pickle !
I only got a bottle of water (that I left) but they have an assortment of drinks plus I saw they make specialty shakes.
The young woman who helped me was Wonderful she was patient and very helpful. Didn't get her name but she knows who she is. Thank You!!!
I have a whole summer to try more.

So the day started off with Google searching best grilled cheese in Suffolk County New York ... which led us to this place which is 20 miles away from where we were lol. Now abput the food Let's start off with an absolutely ass-kicking grilled cheese with lobster! followed up with awesome chips and these sweet potato tater tots are insane! And after reading the other reviews which were completely unfounded because there is free refills and you do not have to tip which we did anyway #notacheepo overall place is awesome totally recommend this place.

This place is amazing, if you like cheese this is a definite must try. Try the western mac and cheese it was soooo good. I read some of the BS 1 star reviews. One guy wrote that he came in 5 mins before it was closed and they wouldn't grille him a sandwich. Like really dude? This place deserves to be 5 stars all the way!!!

Amazing food, fast and courteous service. No table service, offers take out, cozy dining area. I go out of my way to come here, because the mac and cheese is fantastic.

Amazing grilled cheese and very fast service . They seem to have improved a lot since last time I had it and couldn't be more happy with it definitely one of the best grilled cheese places in the island

Get the mac and cheese grilled cheese and the tomato bisque! Delicious basil flavor and you couldn't ask for a better combination. Love the drink selection too!
