Terri Comfort is the perfect hostess! I haven't stayed at the park, but they have nice dry camping sites.
This is my second year cutting fresh lavender. She also has a small farm with cows, goats, alpaca, chicken and more.
I gave Sweet Roy (the cow) a neck massage and he loved it!

This little Oasis on the Delta surprised me. Born and raised in California just around the corner. I never had the pleasure of camping on a mini farm and being able to interact with the animals. The hosts Terri and Michael we're awesome. Terri welcomed us and introduced all of the animals.
My grandchildren loved it.

We even made up a song to the Christmas tune 'Twelve Days of Christmas'. We had the alpacas; 5 French Hens; 4 fainting goats, three ranch dogs, two sweet cows and a duck that loves the mud.

Lots of fun. I highly recommend this place.

Incredible views, kind hosts, and sweet animals all over. Spent a last minute evening here while meandering in our vintage camper. Loved every minute about it. The surrounding town is rich in history, too. Would absolutely recommend this spot and can’t wait to visit again (with the kids!). Thanks again Terri @ Mike!

Great place to get away; yet close enough to the city.

This was not even a campsite it was a field next to a baseball field and beside a neighborhood. It was so windy we couldn’t even put up our tent or light a fire. The location is awful in the middle of nowhere. Brennan park where they recommend water sports and swimming is actually closed so there is literally nothing to do here. If you have never been camping at a state park you might think this is legit camping but really it’s just a big windy field in a tiny podunk town. We feel legitimately conned by the “good” reviews and by the hosts for recommending a closed park for activities. There is no lavender field, no farm fresh eggs, no coffee brought to you in the morning… literally have zero clue why reviewers even said that. I genuinely think all of these reviews were fake and done by the host’s friends. Please do yourself a favor and book at a real campsite and have a good time. Don’t be fooled like we were. One positive, is the llamas were cute but that’s not enough to even fathom coming back to this place.

Private field/campsite behind a community baseball field next to a neighbourhood.
Pros: cute animals
Cons: awful location, constant road noise, extremely windy conditions (almost year round), very limited things to do in the surrounding area, campsites are spread out but no trees so very limited privacy and noise carries. It feels like you are camping at a city park.. one of the uglier areas in California.
Overall: dumpy place, don’t be fooled by the good reviews. Stick to state, federal and county run campgrounds if you can.
