Knott's Berry Farm Independence Hall

A nice little historical getaway from the craziness of the park. It is located within walking distance and definitely worth seeing to appreciate America's history.

We visited this place on a Wednesday, simply because we were nearby and my wife had never been. It's an exact replica (although a bit smaller if I'm not mistaken), of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, complete with a cracked Liberty Bell and all. Staff was super friendly and believe it or not, there were tons of random people with historical knowledge, just happy to talk to us about cool stories and what not. Hadn't been there since I was a kid on a field trip, but it is pretty cool as an adult.

Wonderful place, the 20 min show was amazing and so much fun.

I've been coming here with my parents and now with my kids since the 70's. Sometimes we've come in the evening when it is closed and it is still a very cool place to look at from the outside. Having said that, going inside and seeing all of the history and watching and listening to the debate regarding signing the Declaration of Independence is a very moving experience when you think about it from the perspective of the signers in 1776. We have 7 and 10 year old daughters and they both enjoyed looking around although not as much as my wife and I. We will go again when we are back in Cali. Shout out to the gentleman working there and providing history and facts. What a very nice and super informative guy. Keep him around Knott's, he's awesome.

A quick visit is all that you need to see this little museum but we were glad we popped over from Knott’s. The cashier in the gift shop was very friendly during our visit.

Great place. The Independence Hall was closed but still really cool to check out. There's also a statue of a colonial soldier nearby. To my understanding this replica is 1:1 and I've toured the original so I can attest to this claim by saying yea they're really similar. Great for families or a photo op but not great for bringing your friends or a date. Great location, right next to Soak City and Knott's Berry Farm. If you're in the neighborhood and interested, it's a cool spot to go to. 👍

Such a great place to take students. My students have been studying US history and this is the perfect culminating event for the unit. It costs 23.00 for buses- make sure you have cash for that- bus driver won't pay- other than that it's free. If you want to get a 2 hour tour with characters that dress up as Abigail Adams and benjamin Franklin there is a fee per student. Self guided tours are free for anyone. They have an exact replica of the liberty bell as well as an audio presentation of the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. The gift shop has many things to look at and purchase. My students had a GREAT time.

The best place to look at the Liberty Bell. Also you should talk to Danny about history. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Knott's isn't always just having fun but to hear and look around Independence Hall is always amazing. Interesting place to visit and to enjoy our American history without knowing that it's educational. It's a hidden jem for old and young.

Very nice place for the family. We fed the ducks, fish, and turtles. Really big pond and very clean area. Great for taking pictures.

A quiet, welcome respite from the weekend madness across the street at Knotts Berry Farm.
You feel an atmosphere if reverence here.

Nice museum filled with historical replicas. I found it very interesting. If you go to Knott's it's worth the trip. Free admission to museum. But parking is not free.

I have visited here several times it is a gem of a place. Where else can you learn about the 14 United States Presidents before George Washington? Unfortunately, the Americans with disabilities act has made the upper areas inaccessible 😞. Did I mention there is no charge for the experience?

It was fun. The kids had a great time. We were there for the Sharp International cheer competition. It was not as busy as last year, which is a good thing. It is cashless so make sure you have your card or they have ways to convert cash to a card at the park.

It's fabulous. I don't know if schools do field trips there but I think it should be REQUIRED for kids to witness this reenactment, especially these days when lots of our current politicians seem to have lost grasp of what made our country what it...well, was. (Maybe it should be better advertised, as it's off the beaten path from the "Farm").

I remember when parts of it were free… and when we would go just to hang out at night as teenagers at areas like Studio K etc… Fun times! Sooo many years ago.

Save yourself a trip back east, and see the Brick by Brick replica of Philadelphia's Independence Hall. At Knotts Berry Farm, just across the street from it... Go into like you're headed to Soak City, let them know you are there to see Independence Hall, and you can park for free. It is definitely worth the quick visit, well, we were there for about 45 minutes. They have some really nice historic pieces, and on the inside or some very beautiful chandeliers, as well as Independence Hall, itself well you'll have to see the presentation. Here's a hint, watch the pins on the desk, trust me. That presentation takes about 20 minutes, and it is very very worth it. It is free, and how can you get any better than free? I don't know either lol. The curator, he is very friendly very helpful and accommodating. It is now ran by the national parks division, which is just as well, I guess it really doesn't matter as long as it's still there :-) I had wanted to go to it numerous times before when we visit California, this time we just did it. And I am very glad we did. Very informative a lot of history, and very patriotic. Family friendly? Most definitely.

Everyone should visit this gem to learn more about our country's history. The employee working there was super knowledgeable!
