Saddle Rock Golf Course

I’ve really enjoyed my rounds out here. Really hard to beat a course of this quality and aesthetics for the price. Any complaints don’t come from real golfers or come from people who are only used to non-public courses. For a course open to the public, it really doesn’t get any better than this. Denver golf at it’s finest especially if you enjoy a hilly walk.

Awesome course! challenging for me which is good views you can't beat! Well worth the drive

It was a beautiful driving range I really enjoyed the views. Getting balls is a bit different than I’m use to as you have to go in and pay for them then you have to go get them where the golf cart drop off and pick up is which is down a walk way under where you just purchased the golf balls code and then after getting balls you have to walk about 150 yards to the driving range.

Outstanding course that will challenge you all day long. Well kept and offers a decent driving range with real grass and a solid chipping area.

Great golf course. The views are outstanding and the course is in great shape. Unlike some of the reviews, I appreciate the marshals keeping the pace of play moving. It’s a challenging course sometimes you just need to pick up!

One thing that definitely needs attention is the bathroom facilities on the back nine. I play Saddle Rock at three times a month and the lav is so sticky I gag. If I were a guy, I would be looking for a tree, which I’m sure the neighbors would appreciate.

This was my first time playing Saddle Rock. It was cart path only which was fine due to lack of moister in Colorado. I loved this course. It was a difficult layout and very difficult pin placements for the day. It had some great elevated tee shots. I liked the course alot and would highly recommend playing Saddle Rock. I'll be back for sure.

Great course. Clubhouse moved my tee time from 1:50 to 2:00 pm so my grand nephew could play free (with paying adult). Great conditions and pace of play.

PAce of play was excellent. Price very affordable... And a shout-out to Sal in the restaurant. Great experience..

Course is in awesome shape haven’t played it for a few years. And your marshall (and I wish I gotten his name ) was the best guy ever. We got a hole behind and he didn’t come on us like some marshals do. He was very nice and we tried our best to catch up. He said we were on time but to try to pick it up little. Marshalls like that could learn from him It doesn’t have to an ( oh no ) situation when you see them. We’ll be back for sure. He even said thanks for playing here.

This is a great course with a wonderful and helpful staff with and challenging green's even for pros like ourselves 😉 I'm kidding but if you haven't been yet no matter where you're located around the world SADDLE ROCK GOLF COURSE is definitely a must SEE, PLAY, DINE, LEARN AND FIND GREAT GEAR . This is a really fun course! Most friendly, polite accommodating staff. Pace of play was right on, the course was in good shape and presented some interesting challenges. The course is in great condition, beautiful greens are rolling fast and true and the pace of play is the best I've seen. The restaurant to speak; my group and I were very satisfied from the service and food.

Saddlerock is a challenging course, the greens are always pure and fast. I honestly don’t understand why there are so many reviews that are negative. I’ve played a lot of public golf and have also belonged to three separate country clubs and this course is always in pretty good to great conditions for a public course.

I guess one of the problems is that this course has fast greens and a fairly challenging layout so people complain. I also haven’t necessarily run into mean or rude staff here either. This is my first time ever reviewing a golf course and felt the need as some of the negative reviews were lame.

My first time playing Saddle Rock, what a blast! The course is in such great shape/conditions, for late October. The front 9 and back are completely opposite of one another. The autumn atmosphere around the course... beautiful. Highly recommend playing this course.

Fun and beautiful course that is wonderfully maintained. The greens are great, the views are great, and the cafe attached to the pro shop is great. The marshals could do a better job moving the slower golfers, but that is a constant issue with most courses. The City of Aurora has some really nice courses and Saddle Rock is one of the best. By the way, the fountain on #9 adds tremendously to the overall view of the course when you arrive. I have noticed comments about the surly staff in the pro shop. It is a valid critique. Over the last few years there is a noticeable change in the culture of the staff. John the starter is the exception...he is great. I see it almost every time i play. To a great extent the surly and demeaning culture begins in the pro shop and filters down to most all of the staff on and off the course. It is sad because it is a really nice course and the first impression of the course starts in the pro shop and it is not healthy.

What great challenge. I love playing this Championship track. The golf course is in great shape and found the greens to be rolling true. Pin placements on a few holes were very challenging.
Staff in both the Pro Shop and Restaurant were nice and very helpful. I will visit again.

What a great course I can’t believe the shape it’s in. Definitely a course for real golfers. The Fairways were tight and the greens were like carpet! I had a guy in my group that wasn’t very good and struggled with the pro level conditions. Anyhow the rest of us enjoyed the course. Felt like we were playing a tournament level course!

What a great course!! They hosted our church's nine hole men's league and I was amazed at what fantastic condition the course was in!! Everyone was super friendly and this course far exceeded some of the supposed "premier courses" that we have played. I will be back for sure!! I may make this my new home course!! Thank you guys!!! Great job!!!

I can see why this course is great, the conditions were awesome, the course is super nice. But fair warning, it is a difficult one for newer golfers like myself. Most fairways are on a bit of a slant and bad shots aren't easily forgiven here.

it is one of the most difficult golf courses to play for that price, which is a real challenge. the condition of the field is always very good. I hope one day finish under par

Saddle Rock is always in great condition and the pace of play is never too backed up. Great lynx layout makes you think about how to approach each hole, you can't just "grip it and rip it". I guarantee you will have a great time if you play smart.
