Whistle Stop Restaurant

Enjoyed a very good breakfast here and coffee is awesome. Short, pleasant walk from our hotel this restaurant is employed by some of the nicest people from around the world. Service was exemplary and atmosphere is so comfortable & clean. My husband & I recommend the Angry Bear & South of the Border! Efe our server was very friendly and attentive.

The Bison mushroom and Swiss was AWESOME. And the grilled corn was fantastic. The host was very nice and our waitress was super. A little spendy but very very good. I would go there again!

Perfect place for our hungry family from Missouri to eat after a beautiful day of hiking and exploring in Glacier.
The local craft beer, burgers, pulled pork, home fries, grilled corn, and homemade huckleberry pie were all incredible. We originally ordered one pie and ice cream to split and then had to ask for two more servings, because it was so delicious our teenage son didn’t want to share. Topping off our delectable entrees was the warm, friendly, and attentive service we received as soon as we walked through the door. Thank you, Whistle Stop!

The huckleberry French toast was phenomenal and all the omelets my table had were amazing. I had the high top omelet and it may have been the best omelet I have had!
Our server Paul was super friendly as well and had all of our food out swiflty as a moose slipping down the icy slopes.
10/10 would eat again!

The food here was amazing! Do yourself a favor and have the huckleberry stuffed French toast. Bianca took great care of us! Thank you Whistle Stop! We will definitely be back.

No idea why this place isn’t rated a 4.3-4.5…. Not a huge menu but everything we had was really good. If you’re on the East side of Glacier this is a solid stop. Nice and clean, great service, and great comfort food.

If you are looking for your reason to stop here I have photo's! Breakfast was AMAZING. I was seated by a window with this magnificent view of the mountains behind the town. The local dogs raced around the streets. Alexandra was very polite, quick, and very kind. I myself have been a waitress so I always bus up my own table for people who take my order.
I had a hot chocolate and that was delicious. For my meal I had the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast and yes that's a mouth full to say! Golden Fluffy and Gooey on the inside with cream cheese, cinnamon notes and apple pieces this was a sweet tooth's dream!
I had a side order of the breakfast potatoes which has red and green bell peppers and diced onions. cooked to perfection I was very pleased with them.
The chairs have socks on the bottom of them to prevent them from scratching the floor and I was a fan of it. Thought it was adorable. The paper towel holders are also very neat. I love the set up. I was told the building is about 5 months old. So it was very clean and hardly much on the walls but it was cozy and really made for a memorable stop.

Stopped in for brunch on a Thursday & everyone in our 3 generation family found something delicious. Fast & friendly service. We had stuffed huckleberry & plain Texas toast, veggie omelet, bacon, sides & coffee. Absolutely recommend!

How delightful to find such wonderful breakfast spot in town. Food are great especially huckleberry items such as stuffed french toast and huckleberry mimosa. The service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Driving from Kalispell to St. Mary's I decided to stop here for lunch and so glad I did. Ordered the chicken BLT and a Tamarack Yardsale. Perfect lunch is the wait staff is super attentive and friendly! ❤

This was the best breakfast we had during our road trip across Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. The food was SO GOOD (not pictured is a delicious homemade cinnamon roll that was consumed at record-breaking speed). The service was fast and friendly and the relaxed atmosphere on the front patio got our day off to an awesome start.

Great restaurant when on the way to or from Two Medicine mountain! We loved the hamburgers and buffalo burgers!
Staff was very friendly and they worked together as a great team.

Wow. A must try when visiting Glacier National. I don’t have the words to describe how wonderful and delicious everything was. The inconsiderate people focused on the “bad service” goes to show how ignorant people can be when it comes to places like these. Place is run by great people who deliver amazing food. Huckleberry pie is a must.

A really nice place to have a meal. I thought the interior was charming, the waiter was prompt and polite and the food delicious. I'd go back again for sure on our next time thru the area. BBQ pork sandwich was awesome and served very quickly!!

Ate breakfast here with my kids. We had the big country breakfast combo (not sure the exact name) it was $19 for bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes which my son easily finished but it was good! Also got the kids breakfast of one egg, toast, bacon and a side of bacon. Good food, pricey and wait staff was wonderful! We plan try lunch or dinner sometime this week.

We stopped here after a huge hike in Glacier and needed some good food, and a lot of it. We got some basic food, but the real winner was the huckleberry pie! We saw it in the refrigerator on the way to the table and thought about it during the whole meal. We ended up having huckleberry pie 2 more places throughout our trip, and this one was definitely the best! The service was great also! Our server was attentive and so friendly. Next time we're in the area, we're going back just for pie!!

Ate here with a family member for dinner after a tour in Two Medicine. I would recommend for anyone taking a trip to Glacier Park! The food was great and was served very quickly, it only took a couple minutes to recieve our food. The staff were very kind and it was nice talking to them.

After a day hiking the trails this was a perfect stop! Try the huckleberry Pie! See you guys next time.

The place was nice and clean. Food was delicious and service was pleasant and quick. The only thing we didn't like was all the flies.
