This was my first camping experience and I loved it! Quiet and peaceful place with beautiful view of the lake. The bathrooms were fairly clean. There’s a convenience store very close to the campground where you can find most things. It gets really dark in the night so if you like stargazing then it’s the perfect place! Gets a little cold at night so I’d suggest layers or thick blankets.

Shame on us for not knowing national park rules.
Couldn't stay as we didn't have a reservation for the night and couldn't hike as we didn't have a vehicle reservation.🥺 Next time we'll know better. The camp host was helpful and sympathetic, which was appreciated.👍

Its no primitive campground. It's got plenty of potable water and restrooms. Real easy to park your car and set up shop near the lake. It's so picturesque. You've got one small ranger station and a giftshop/coffee shop.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever camped and that's out of more than 10 states and 7 national parks.

This is a great spot for camping. No cell service. Our site was #46 which was not as level as it looked in the photo, but we made it work. Beautiful scenery!!

We just finished a 3 night stay here. We had a great time and great weather. We had a 32 foot RV and we easily but slowly made it into the campground. We were there by 8.15 am and had a choice of 3 open spots. What a beautiful spot to enjoy. We also hiked around the lake one day which was beautiful as well we made it twin falls while hiking. We also spent a few minutes in the lake but it was COLD. We saw mountain goats every day while there.

This area of Glacier is just beautiful! There are wonderful hikes along the lake, through the woods, around moose areas, and creeks. Wonderful water falls and more. We did encounter a bear on our hike back from Paradise Point but it posed no trouble. General store was nice and bathrooms were clean. Area was crowded so be patient for a parking spot.

quiet, shaded and near some epic hikes. great kayaking. Campgrounds are clean and well maintained. Definitely a place to camp if your afraid of the dark. campsites are brightly lit all night. Dont have to worry about seeing all thoes scary stars. Dont think the International Dark Sky Association camped here when they gave the dark sky designation. But definitely an awesome place to check out for a few days. Always wildlife sightings.

Great first come first serve campground, you have to come early to have some choices. Host removes tags from all the sites that are available for that day. So when you are looking for available site you can easily see which post has no tag. The campground has hiking trails nearby, lake for swimming and ranger programs are wonderful as well.

This is a great campground. The sites are large with a reasonable amount of privacy. The campground has hosts that are always available and are very helpful. The rangers do a great job of patrolling the area and keeping people safe.
Both Two Medicine Lake and Pray Lake, which connect to the campground, are accessible and swimmable (although they can be quite cold).
Best of all, there are tons of different hiking trails of different ability levels right there next to the campground. You don't have to drive to go for a hike.
Note...it is tough to get a spot. You cannot pre-book. Arrive before 7:30 am and patrol sites of people who's site booking is expiring. Ask if you can take their site. Talk to the campground hosts. They generally know who he leaving or staying

This is by far the best camp site I have ever had. Amazing views, wildlife and facilities. Amazing hiking all around and a short boat tour. I will be back here for sure!

More secluded than most the campgrounds in the park. Was still crowded, but nothing compared to the craziness when we went up to Many Glacier a few days later! Beautiful area with plenty of great trails nearby and and is right on the lake.

The nearby general store was really nice with a very interesting history and the ferry service on Two Medicine Lake was wonderful and friendly.

Would highly recommend this campsite for anyone's visit to Glacier National Park.

After a two and a half month road trip with a rooftop tent, camping in a variety of locations, Two Medicine Campground was by far our favorite. We camped in Loop B right by Pray Lake. Everything about this campground was wonderful. Each campsite offered a relative amount of privacy, a picnic table, and a fire ring. The bathrooms here are standard vault toilets, but they are well maintained. Big horn sheep families would come through the campground and graze at whatever they could find. There were plenty of level ground spots for tent campers. Very peaceful area and so quiet. Highly recommend sitting by the water's edge at Pray Lake, and doing the 7 mile hike all the way up and around Two Medicine Lake. The trailhead is just by the campground. We arrived on Thursday, September 28th and stayed for two wonderful nights. We got there around 3 PM and got one of the last well located spots just by the water. Absolutely stay here if you ever have the chance!!!

I stayed in a hammock at campsite 56, which was lovely. The views from the campground are phenomenal and I took half a day just to meander around the lake. The campground was full, but quiet and not too busy. There is a boat which will take you across the lake, a campstore which also serves hot food, and flush toilets. The bathrooms were very clean. This campground does not have laundry service or showers. There are several hikes to take from this campground and No Name Lake was especially enjoyable. While on my hikes, I saw a moose, several horned sheep, ground squirrels and chipmunks. [End of August 2018]

Beautiful campground with great facilities. The spaces are a bit close together but it’s worth it to be so close to the lake. You can easily walk from the campground to the general store, boating area and trail head with access to Upper Medicine Lake and beyond or hand out in the area of the lake right next to the campground all day! Watch for shallow areas if you are kayaking/paddle boarding on Lower Medicine Lake.

I camped in Avalanche and St. Mary's but this Campground was the best! I had site 56. I could see Mountain Goats on the Mountain West of us. There was a pond behind our site where Moose activity was said to happen. Our camp host suggested the site to us which was really awesome and nice of him considering the weather was going to be bad. Hiked 23 miles in one day hiking 2 passes. Spectacular views despite the cloud coverage and rain/snow. Hardly a breeze. Lots of wild life!

Located about 1 hour south from the St. Mary Visitor entrance. Getting to Two Medicine Campground is half the adventure! Travel a well paved but narrow road up a winding mountain side with steep cliffs and no barriers. The drive alone will take your breath away. When you reach the campground, you will be staring at mountain peaks and incredible wilderness. This is the perfect place to getaway from it all.

I have been to many campgrounds across North America and I have to say, this is the most spectacular campground I have seen.

Flush toilets, potable water is available. There is also a camp store that sells food, ice cream, alcohol and souvenirs. You can also take cruise on the lake for about $13 USD each.

On a side note, this is Bear country and the park rangers don't mess around! Do not leave your food out in the open unattended as it attracts bears. At night, all food must be kept in your vehicle or the food lockers on site. The Park Rangers will confiscate all of your food and cooking equipment and you will have to run around and flag one down so that you can get your stuff back. That and you will get an $80 fine, trust me I had to learn the hard way (thankfully I begged and pleaded and narrowly avoided the fine - phew)!

Most nights there is a presentation put on by the Rangers. They invite local members of the Blackfoot tribe to share stories, songs and dance about how this area is sacred to their people.

Many activities available such as hiking, boating, biking, bird watching, cruising or just loaf around and relax.

All in all, this is officially my favorite place to camp. It is definitely a must see place.

Beautiful campground. We arrived Friday morning at 8:30am of Labor Day weekend. This is first come first serve. We counted around 15-20 of the spaces that were empty or people were leaving. We got the first spot in the A loop, 23. Bighorn sheep came into our site several times in the two days we were there to eat charcoal out of the fire ring. Very windy the first day which seems to be very common. The B and C loop upper parts were on the hill so would have been hard to find a flat spot for an RV. Road was paved to and around the campground. They had water faucets and bear proof containers ever few sites. Also a dump station. The smaller lake was just a walk across the road with the larger one just a little further.

Great little campground. We read online that most of the spots were closed down, but when we arrived, we found all of them to be open. The lake was beautiful and just a short walk/drive away. We woke up to some Big Horn sheep walking around along the paths. It was quite the sight! They were friendly and the rangers we're quick to attend to the situation. Make sure to get there early though for a good spot. The sites fill up fast!

This campground is situated in a beautiful area, just by the lake and between the mountains. Access to great hikes such as the Dawson-Pitamakan loop trail. I would definitely recommend this if you are fit enough as the views are absolutely spectacular!
