Hampton Inn Richmond-Mechanicsville

Let me just say that the customer service from housekeeping to the front desk is awesome. Ronda, Yvette, and the other young lady name Summer who work 2nd shift is so nice. The hotel location is perfect not to far from places to eat, gas station, or to shop for food. The hotel staff understand I travel to and from with having to work plus with my OB doctor appointments and never gave me a issue not 1 time. The staff overall is a prime example of great customer service across the board :)

Sherronda Robinson is the best receptionist I’ve ever dealt with at a hotel she’s very understanding very outgoing and very sweet. She gave us the most upmost, respectful possible. I wish that every hotel had a manager/front desk clerk like her I own a business. If she works for me, I no b would have to give A raise, and spoke highly about one of my employees

Yvette is fantastic; she truly made our day! She was so sweet to my daughter, made us popcorn, and she's just amazing! She makes every visitor to feel very special and welcomed! Hampton Inn, give her a raise!

We were traveling with our 3-month old child, and this was the smoothest experience we've had thus far. The receptionist, whose name I believe was Yvette, could not have been more helpful. We will definitely return the next time we are in the greater Richmond area.

Great hotel, awesome service, especially from Yvette at check in!! Breakfast bar very good, especially the red velvet waffles!! Would highly recommend this Hampton Inn, rooms newly renovated, comfortable bed, and central location to RIR event that we attended. Thanks for a great stay!!

The staff was what made our stay awesome. Not only were they extremely friendly but they went out of their way to take care of us. I would definitely stay there again.

Hai (sp) was amazing. We checked in late with rowdy children. He was able to get us in our room in under 2 minutes. I came back out to thank him for his amazing service and customer care.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect and the staff was very friendly. And the toilets! So powerful! No potty anxiety here! :) You could flush a Toyota! Definitely will come back!

Great stay! We were there with a group of teenage dancers while on tour in the summer of 2022. Management went above and beyond to accommodate us, giving us extra cookies, adjoining rooms, and even let us practice in a conference room. Everyone slept comfortably and we all felt very safe.

Easy booking when we needed to rest for the night during an Atlantic Coast road trip during the Holiday Season.

My parents stayed here one night a few weeks ago while driving up to New Jersey. They absolutely loved their stay, especially the complimentary breakfast in the morning!

Hai was the receptionist when we checked in, and he provided a quality level of customer service and hospitality that seems far and few in between nowadays. Especially because of him our experience here was so memorable! Thank you for such great care and service!

We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was great! They are under renovation still but it is coming along so nice! Staff and housekeeping are very friendly and helpful ! Hai at the front desk was AMAZING and made our stay here 10x better by having someone friendly! By all that said, I will definitely make this my hotel when I am in town here! A lot of things are out of order right now but that’s just because of renovations so we understand! 10/10 stay! Definitely recommend.

This place is great! Brooke at the front desk was friendly and made us laugh, and the rooms were top notch. Everything was clean, and I absolutely love the fact that the dest has a small dimming light. I'm usually up later and earlier than my coworker to get some computer and paper work done, and other hotels have bright lights that bother him. Finally a hotel that puts in something so simple yet so needed. Beds are super comfy, and everything is honesty perfect. Would stay again!

This Hampton inn was wonderful. We were greeted with friendly front desk. She was very helpful and kind. Other workers were very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

Everything was perfect. As the mother of the groom, I wanted everything and everyone to be taken care of. Check-in was quick and easy (some people even checked in early with no issues), the rooms were clean and fresh, breakfast was delicious but most of all the staff were exceptional (especially Courtney). Thank you!!!!

The rooms were extremely clean and well kept. There wasn't any physical damage inside the room. The staff were professional, but provided a very friendly, homestyle type of environment. Everyone was polite. The breakfast wasn't too terrible either. Otherwise it was an amazing experience
