Richmond Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics - Mechanicsville​

My daughter loves going to the dentist. They make it such a positive experience. And it helps to have the walls and environment something fun for them to look at while they are there. I'm glad we found this when she started going 3 years ago.

My daughter tried 3 other dentists prior to coming here and the experience was phenomenal. My daughter has high anxiety and they made her feel very comfortable and this is the only dentist that my daughter actually let do the dental procedure that was needed.

My daughter Mckayla had to get a filling done today and she was very anxious but the dental assistant Madelyn made sure my daughter have an awesome experience.Her bedside manner is unmatched keep up the good work. See you in a few weeks😁

Richmond Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics are always friendly when greeting you at check in. The wait times are never bad and they are great with children. My son is always excited for his next checkup.

We are grateful for the caring team at RPDO - Mechanicsville. They make sure our kiddo feels confident and comfortable with everything they do. His teeth are in the best hands.

Wow! Super impressed - 5 outta 5! Thank you RPDO and Dr. Cook and Dr. Bibona! I went through years of orthodontics as a kid, from 5th grade to my senior year in High School. Didn't wear my final retainers and my teeth shifted. 30 years later, with the advancements in Orthodontia I decided to try again. I met with Taylor, who took X-rays and pictures - then I met and talked to Dr. Bibona. We worked together on a plan and how much it would be with my insurance. They both were very kind, patient, and understanding - I couldn't be happier with the start of my journey!

A month later, I had the buttons installed and the first eight aligners provided. At the end I sat up shocked - I could barely feel anything. Is this black magic? This is so comfortable in comparison to what I went through as a kid. Kids these days have it so easy! No pain!

Week four and am already seeing awesome results. When changing to a new aligner it is slightly tight and a little sore - a day later, back to normal. I am sure wear the aligners all the time - the only drawback is it has made me snack less!

A total of 22 weeks of aligners, changing each week, and by December - less than eight months later - I couldn't be more please with my new smile. I received my final retainer and had a wire installed to keep my front teeth from reverting just after the New Year (2024). Dr. Cook stuck with me the entire time - guiding me and answering any questions I had. She truly is a gem - personable, kind, funny, and a joy to be around. Thank you so much for boosting my confidence and letting me smile without reservation. 😃

Thank you RPDO, Dr. Bibona, Dr. Cook, Taylor, Erin, Casey at the front desk, and all the workhorses doing all the mouth work - you all truly impress me. I'd like to recommend your practice to anyone (of any age) looking for an amazing orthodontist!

My kids love their dentist. They just switched to a new dentist after their prior dentist retired, and they LOVE her!

Everyone here was wonderful! My four year old loved the bright fun atmosphere and the friendly staff! She is a first time patient here after a disappointing experience at her previous dentist. I was also very impressed with the hygienists and dentist kind demeanor. They were very good with her and made me feel relaxed and welcome during her exam and x-rays. At no point did I feel that my presence was unwanted even with my many questions/comments! The treatment plan and procedures were easy to understand and explained well. I appreciated being informed about problems that may come up and what I could do to expedite the process. I will definitely be bringing all my children here from now on!

Dr. Liz & her team are amazing...they engaged w/ my kids, asking them Qs to keep them occupied, being silly w/ them, & helping them when they were scared. When the little one needed to use the bathroom and I was helping the other in the chair, another team member came out of the back to help, which I so appreciated. They even sent my kids handwritten "happy notes" afterwards telling them they had done such a good job and they were proud of them! Love this place :)

My children loved going here. My youngest had her very first dental experience here and she truly enjoyed the time. The nurses were gentle, and informing. They each paid special attention to detail and made sure to make my children feel extra special. Dr. Husson was also very gentle and friendly toward me and my children. I wish I had found this pediatric dentist sooner.

My son had a GREAT experience there. We came in for a concern. He was thoroughly checked, and left having a great visit. The dental assistant was great and the dentist was super sweet and very helpful. Thank you Chelsea and Dr. Ray!

The dentist that saw my son and daughter was amazing. Dr. Amanda she is upbeat and was great about making sure I had all the information I needed after my son had his teeth pulled. The staff as a whole was just great
