We got take out. I had the fried chicken, greens and mashed potatoes. Dinner was great but the dessert.... OMG one of the best pies ever!! I had the apple pie and it was heaven. I can still taste it when I think about it. If you are watching your calorie intake, please wave it goodbye because this pie is worth every bite and every calorie!! 😋
The staff was super friendly and attentive.

I've been driving by the front porch restaurant for 8 yrs as I worked in the area surveying. Today was the 1st time I stopped in with my wife. Now I know why the parking lot is always packed with cars...
Great meal and even better staff!

Got the half fried chicken meal and it was excellent . Came in on Friday night at 6pm and was immediately seated as I was dining solo but in spite of a busy dinner time crowd service was fast and friendly. Was a first time.visitor in town for a golf tourney but will be back for sure if I'm in the area. Chocolate coconut meringue pie was amazing!

My mom and I came here on our way back from kayaking at Silver Springs in Ocala. Food is delicious and comforting, portions are about Cheesecake Factory level without the expense. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a casual homey meal finished off with their amazing homemade pies.

We were there during busy lunch time. Had to wait before getting in the restaurant and then waited again for the food. That being said, even my 11 year-old said it’s worthy of waiting. The food is freshly cooked, very good quality: not creasy and well-balanced taste. The fried chicken is so tender. We bought their pies too. The same as their restaurant food, fresh and balanced taste.

Adorable old Florida restaurant with amazing homemade pies. I love having breakfast here with my friends and family. Great service and food. Lovely atmosphere with outdoor sitting as well. Highly recommend stopping here one day to try their pies!

Happened to drive by and saw the sign for pie and decided to stop. 😄 There was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. This is some great down-home cooking. The service was wonderful and this place has a rich history being family owned. For dessert we ordered the chocolate-coconut meringue pie and pecan pie and both were excellent. This place is a gem and I highly recommend giving it a try…definitely get pie no matter what.

Super delicious and fresh. The Cuban is the sammie that slaps with flavor that is unmatched around here. Really, you couldn't get a tastier toasted sandwich anywhere else. The fried chicken sandwich is legit, I have been to parts of the deep south and Midwest and I could tell you that the flavor is there, and it would go real well with pickles.

The staff is friendly, experienced, and professional. There's quality in the experience and the atmosphere of this restaurant. You'll feel like you're home.

Also the pies? Delectable.

We loved this restaurant! Great breakfast place if you are in the area. The food was delicious and a rather large serving. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cool and took us back to a simpler time. All of the patrons appeared to be USA loving patriots. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I would be in trouble if this restaurant were just down the road from me. Their fried chicken is delicious. Their veggies are fresh and seasoned perfectly. I never have room for dessert, so I take it home. Peach cobbler and their lemon meringue pie are both delicious. They're so popular you're snuggled up next to your friends and neighbors, but I didn't mind it. It's a family atmosphere.

We sit down in the tables outside due to the fact that we were with our dog. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a southern type of food, this is the right place.

My burger was very good and the potato salad was excellent. My wife had the Cuban sandwich which she really enjoyed. Our server was very friendly and I never had to ask for a drink refill (which is most important for me).

The food was great. We bought a whole key lime pie and all though the crust was mostly crumbs and not a full hard gram carcker it was good.
My cuban and mashed potatoes tasted real. My husbands cat fish was good.
Service was wonderful.
One thing I will not give a star for is the wating area is outside.
So if its 99 degrees and your wait is 30 mins you will melt!!🫠
I think they should use the pager system or have a house phone that will tex you so you can get back in the car or build it in and make it a gift shop like cracker barrel with benches too.
I will definitely be back.
Hope they close in the waiting area just makes since to spend a little bit of money and make more for shopping items.

Great food the Fried chicken was excellent and we took home Coconut cream pie and Lemon Meringue pie .
Our time and won't be our last.

We ordered two chicken half dinners last evening for take out. Cole Slaw and mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and a cornbread muffin. Everything was absolutely delicious!

The young ladies at the counter were delightful! Thanks FP! I no longer need to make fried chicken at home!😆😆

Food was amazing and service was just as great. Very friendly and the field peas were just l Iike I remembered when I was young with my Uncle WHO KNEW HOW TO COOK some good southern food! Don't change a thing, wish I wasn't so full to try the pie. We will be back!

I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes, a salad, and a slice of pecan pie. Everything was really good!

All homemade food with big portions. Tasted really great,will definitely go back when in the area. Staff friendly and polite.

Delicious food! Home cooked meals. The pies are to die for! The fried pickles are amazing as well. I recommend checking this local place out.
