I love this park. Plenty of parking. You can drive your kayak right to the ramp then go park. They have a wonderful ramp just for kayaks and paddle boards making it very easy to get in and out. Clean bathrooms. A swimming area too. It’s one mile south of the state park so it’s a nice and easy paddle up and back.

This place is a great paddle/kayaking destination. If you're a people person, you're in luck because there are plenty of them here. If you prefer solitude, you'll have to contend with a plethora of other alone-time seeking individuals. But it's worth it to experience the wildlife and exceptionally clean, clear water. Take a swim while you're at it if you enjoy cold water in December. Otherwise, you may want to save your water fording for warmer weather.

We launched kayaks into the Rainbow River from KP Hole. The parking was great, the launch site was very nice and the people waiting to launch and land were all helping each other, which was wonderful to experience. The staff helped us to purchase the $7 launch fee, which is uber reasonable. The restroom facilities were clean and very accessible. Highly recommended stopping by!!!

I dive there several times a year. Crystal clear water.
72-74 degrees. I'd recommend 3mm suit minimum. $20 at the front desk gets you a park entry plus a boat ride upstream. Nice relaxing drift dive.

Went on a 2hr clear kayak tour with Sam, it was my 1st time ever going kayaking and in rainbow springs. My partner and I had a blast! Sam was very nice and funny would recommend going on a tour with him

We rented our kayaks online down the road at Rainbow River Rentals and they dropped us off here at KP hole to launch the kayaks. There is a little bit of a wait to check-in. Three important things to know ahead of time: all food and drinks must be in reusable containers, they have scanners to put over your drinks to test for alcohol, and you must have $7 cash or card to enter the park. There were a lot of people on tubes that I believe they rented from KP hole directly. I saw a tuber drift right by a small alligator and the alligator didn’t even flinch. They won’t hurt your unless you mess with them, which no one did at this time. The river gets a little busy at times, but it is overall still a very pleasant experience. KP hole park is very nice and I highly recommend everyone visit at least once in their lifetime.

Best way to experience Rainbow River. By Tube, kayak, or by taking the water taxi upstream for an incredible scuba dive. I've been coming here since it was just a sandbank on the river as a kid and love the current facilities.

This float down the river spring water was absolutely amazing. Water is so clear and see through. It's like a whole another world. I spent 3 hours snorkeling there absolutely amazing 10 out of 10

My husband and I just tubed the Rainbow River today. We started at 830 am and finished at 2:45 pm. It was filled with amazing views and wildlife. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a long tube ride. However, the only mistake we made was to check the weather forecast and it was very windy. I would suggest going on a clear day. The tube rentals and shuttle are very organized.

We visit state parks very often and this park is by far the cleanest and prettiest facility I've ever visited. The park staff is clearly kind and caring, which was a real treat.

There were kayaks, paddle-boarders, scuba divers, and every kind of water craft here. It was simply a magical place to dive, so clean and clear.

We got there at 7:30am (Memorial Day weekend) and the parking lot was nearly full. Rented a tandem kayak for $64 and spent the next 4 hours floating down crystal clear pristine waters. Absolutely beautiful day. We arrived back around noon. My only gripe: I don’t quite understand how to get in if the parking lot is full, they have a sign out front that says “lot full- no drop offs” with an employee blocking the entrance. We would have definitely preferred to arrive at noon (long drive from Tampa area) but just don’t understand how to navigate the system. Park closes at 8pm. Would be helpful if they would provide more information about what to do when the parking lot is full.

Beautiful place, crystalline waters, very peaceful, fun. I took a tour with Get up and go kayaking on a lass bottom kayack. Sassy was our tour guide. She is wonderful, funny, a nature lover and protector, very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the tour.

If tubing, it's cheaper than rainbow springs and twice as long (4 hr tube ride). Water is absolutely gorgeous. And we even got to see otters. Would highly recommend and do it again.

What an absolute blast and beautiful day to take the paddle boards out. Convenient parking, easy drop in, super helpful and friendly staff. Bathroom facilities were very well maintained which is a huge green flag! Can't wait to visit again!

Such a lovely place, super clear water, lovely scenic views. It was a terrific day.
Go early!!! We were there at 7am, did the 4 hour tubing, that was a bit much. Next time I'll rent the kayak instead of the tube,
You can not bring alcohol in they check, and you can't bring in water bottle's, it has to be a reusable water container, I also bought a waterproof pouch big enough for my phone and a few other things, from Amazon, that I wore around my neck . Highlight of my day, finishing 4 hours tubing, going to my car and seeing the "GATOR'S" bus. It's beautiful, and they're my team!!! If you get the opportunity to visit Rainbow Springs 🌈 by all means, do it!! I drove almost 3 hours away from Palm Bay, Florida to visit, it was definitely worth the drive!

Super fun outdoor activity. Our group of 5 rented tubes. We brought a cooler filled with snacks in drinks in no disposable containers, a cooler floatation devise, a dry bag for keys etc and sunscreen and snorkel equipment. We tied our floats together with a rope we brought and jumped out and snorkeled most of the trip. I even got to swim with otters. It was a 4.5 hour float trip and we get out at a marked obvious location under a bridge where a shuttle brought us back to the park. It was $25 per person for tube and shuttle day adventure.

Had a great time tubing down the river. The water feels amazing and we seen a lot of birds when we came during the week. Wish we would have brought the sunscreen with because we should have reapplied!
