Brick Oven Bistro

We stopped by while traveling. It's always hard to know if a place is good or not on a map. Whether you are local or just passing through I highly recommend. The waitress was so friendly and helpful when ordering. The portions are large. They do give you a choice of a salad or extra garlic knots with some meals. The food was fresh and the marinara sauce was so good. My son got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. I think he could have just eaten a plate of Alfredo broccoli, it was so good. The garlic knots were the best. All meals were a great value for what you received. We were all pleased and will stop by the next time we are traveling through

Very delicious food! It’s a must whenever I’m in the Ashland area. Every single time I go there, the food is amazing and the staff is also very friendly!

I am at a hotel without a way to get dinner. The staff recommended Brick Oven Bistro.
I ordered Stuffed Shells & a Greek Salad (for lunch the next day). They had to be delivered via the "Slice" app. That took a bit of figuring out, but I got the order in!
WOW! YUM! Not your typical sweet soupy sauce. Nice thick chunks of well flavored tomatoes- with a wee bit of kick! LOTS of mozzarella cheese! The garlic knots were super good as well. And the Greek salad had a good amount of feta cheese.
The driver came nice and quick.
Overall a great experience & good food!!! Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Great food. We saw the great reviews and were in the mood for pizza and Italian. The 18” pizza is monstrous. Wonderfully crisp crust with the taste you’d expect from a brick oven. Good sauce also.

I had a salad, with chicken, as a side and it could have been a whole meal. My son had the lasagna with garlic knots. He loved it. My daughter had a calzone. Massive. Buy one and share it.

Great food. Wonderful, friendly service, even on a Friday evening. I’ll be back.

The pizza here is amazing My family and I went to this pizza restaurant after leaving Kings Dominion and it was worth it. Pizza came out piping had the cheese was gooey the sauce tastes wonderful everything was perfect. Also the staff and the customer service was amazing

Stopped on our way through Virginia, right off 95. Staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating! Service dog was allowed without any issues. Waitress was attentive and polite. Fast service. Food was amazing!! Will stop every time we are passing through!!

Absolutely delicious. Never had Chicken Chesapeake before and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was fantastic and never saw food prepared and delivered piping hot like that in a long time. Definitely would recommend.

One of the best pizza I had in East coast. Stopped here due to traffic jam. Ordered 16 inch for 2 adults and 3 kids. the service was fast and the pizza is large. We couldnt finish it all. We ordered white sauce pizza, and the vege one is very delicious. The pizza wasn't too salty, the veges are abundant and fresh ( only complain is the mushroom is not freshly cut) the sauce and the cheese are very nice with pizza dough and crust is just the right thickness. Best is the price: this nice meal is only about $5 per person!

Ordered on line on the road trip on I-95. Wow, what a nice surprise! Enjoyed a nice turkey pizza with my family in the car and added some excitement on our long tedious drive 😊

Always good, friendly service. A great choice when both of you want things from opposite ends of the spectrum- casual or fancy. I was craving a great burger my husband wanted something nicer. He chose the seafood montese which was crab meat, scallops and shrimp in their delicious pink cream sauce over pasta. I tasted it- it was absolutely delightful! And my burger did not disappoint. Salads are always fresh. We are lucky to live in Ashland and often make this our go-to place.

We come to this place about once a year when we visit our favorite Virginia theme parks, it’s one of our favorite places to eat too! The food here is always amazing and this time did not disappoint!! We had a new server and she helped my create my dream chicken parm! We already can’t wait to come back again next year 😍

Great local spot. The food was very good and an excellent bargain. Atmosphere was nice and quiet with some festive holiday decorations and the wait staff was super attentive.

We had the pizza, it was the best we’ve had in a good long while. Don’t let the decor fool you, this place is great and very reasonably priced.

I'm an over the road trucker and parked for the night at Walmart. Next door, I saw a pizza joint. I ordered a large veggie calzone and thank goodness I ordered it to go cuz of the noises and the mess I was making, I looked like I had no upbringing! Ya, I will for sure stop through next time! The first pic is before and second is after. This calzone is big enough for three grown man! I could only eat three slices. I honestly was good after the second slice but it was just so good!
