Bell Hut Asian Cuisine Restaurant

Didn’t take any pics but we got take out which was 3 entrees and 2 sushi rolls. All 3 entrees were delicious and fresh. The sushi was fresh as well I didnt like my roll but it was well made and fresh just wasn’t something I’d get again. My sons was amazing as well he really loved his. It was a good bit pricey compared to other restaurants but the quality was great so I will definitely return! Oh I also noticed it’s very clean inside.

Great food and great prices

I enjoyed the spring rolls and of course the beef fried rice. The spring rolls were crispy and the signature sauce was tangy and outstanding. The rice was cooked perfectly. Not too much oil and the beef was cooked just right.
My order was ready on time and the restaurant was nice and clean.
I look forward to returning!

I got takeout and got items off the a la carte menu. Which was the unagi, and yellow tail Hamachi. I also got the salmon Maki roll. Everything was very fresh, no fishy smell or taste whatsoever. The fish/eel was was tender. For what I got price wise it was not bad at all($23.50) the takeout order was packed very well, no spillage or anything. I would love to come back and eat inside the resturant as I enjoyed the food very much.

The food here is amazing! Always super fresh and made to order. Love their lunch bento boxes, selection of ramyune, and beer. Service is very professional and polite. Not to mention the sushi chefs!

We have been hooked on this place for months. We eat here almost once a week!

The fish is fresh and tasty, as well as their ginger and wasabi. My fiancé and I are sushi obsessed, and every roll and piece of nigiri is melt in your mouth delicious. My mom gets the hibachi dinner and loves it.

Only once has anything ever gone wrong with our order, and the owners fixed the situation immediately and generously. A great place to eat run by very fine people 🙂 we will be back for years to come!

A friend and I had dinner here around 4pm. Small eatery but it was empty and we had pick of where we wanted to sit. Service was prompt and good. We had Crab Rangoons to start. Very fresh and light. Presented nicely too! We split three specialty rolls: Reindeer Roll, Valentine Roll, and Summer Blossom Roll. Served on nice stone platter. All 3 were fresh and delicious, presented well. The favorite was the Valentine Roll. Has a lot going on with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, fresh jalapeno, and other things but very nice texture and the flavors don't overwhelm. Reindeer Roll was Delicious with white fish and lemon peel topper. Balanced out the umami very well. Summer Blossom was good, but just not a favorite on the palate. 3 specialty rolls and an app ran $50, which is reasonable for good sushi. Overall a quality spot to eat.

It was our first time going here and we will absolutely be back. The angry dragon roll was incredible, we ended up getting 2 of them 🤣

Excellent options across the spectrum of Asian cuisine, from Thai to Chinese to Japanese, it's all good. Best sushi I've had in Mechanicsville.

Delicious variety of sushi plus a lot of other choices. Twin Mango with chicken and shrimp was awesome. Genuine Japanese soft drinks, beer, and even a Shirley Temple.
Even my lucky cat followed me here too. After COVID even the cat was fat! Hahaha

Ordered the Happy Family to go, so I cannot comment much about their sushi or the restaurant. The Happy Family stir fry had a whole lobster tail, chicken, beef, shrimp, and a good mix of fresh vegetables. It was cooked in a brown sauce and I had them added some chili sauce to spice it up. The dish had a pretty good taste to it. In general, I think their entrees are overpriced.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick dinner on the longer drive. I had sushi and he had curry fried rice and we shared Indian pancakes for appetizer. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious, the seafood was really good both cooked and raw, the Indian pancake was outstanding and we wiped the sauce clean that came with it. The husband also tried an egg drop soup and liked it so much that he had another one after his main dish! I think this will be our regular stop whenever we drive this way! Thank you!

Fantastic sushi and food. Nice, clean, quiet, and small so no major crowds. Would definitely go there again.

Both experiences were above and beyond. Food was great wine was wonderful and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Great place overall :) pictured is the spicy trio (salmon, tuna and yellow tail).

Great little spot for sushi and Japanese fare in Mechanicsville. Food is fresh and they sometimes have unique items like sea urchin which are subject to availability. Kitchen entrees are also very good, highly recommend the hibachi dishes if you have that craving and don’t feel like going to a dinner show. Have to mention that the staff are professional and inviting as well!

Over the years (even during the pandemic) Bell Hutt has maintained a consistent level of excellence in both their service and food. Dine in or take out, you can't go wrong!

Everything is great here. Great food, amazing variety on the menu, great service, easy to order online. Their seafood delight, orange chicken and hibachi shrimp are so on point. Love this place!

Clean dining room, good food nicely presented. I like the simplicity of the presentation and the food is not heavy and complicated. Friendly, helpful staff. A nice variety on the menu, Thai, sushi, Chinese, hibachi. Lunch menu Monday thru Saturday. Open at 11am. Dine in and takeout.

This is a thoroughly delightful spot for sushi. The menu includes much more, but I've only dined on the sushi. Nigiri, specifically. Prices are what you'd expect. Ambience is understated, but it doesn't interfere with the food.
