Fire & Chicken

Absolutely loved this place. As a new resident of Ashland and a lover of Peruvian food, it was a match made in heaven. Got the half chicken dark, and the seafood chowder. This stuff should be illegal! Chicken is literally falling off the bone. And the soup was Absolutely fantastic! The only tiny complaint is the shrimp in the soup still has the tails on. But I managed to eat it anyway. The place smells amazing right when you enter. They even have an app to order ahead for to go. And you can earn points. Will definitely be going back many many times.

If you leave hungry, you might have a problem. Burrito is huge, tacos are loaded too. Steak burrito and chicken tacos were great. Will try more options next time I am in the area. Place was clean, service was pretty quick. Wish I would have taken pics, will next time. Definitely a place to go if you are in the area. I will be back some day.

Stopped by 5/27/23 around 5:30pm for an early dinner. Not many people there but they sure got busy before we left. I ordered the mixed kabobs with fried rice and my friend ordered Chaufa Mariscos. Both were generous servings and very tasty. Before leaving, we got freshly made alfajor to go and enjoyed it today. This was my first taste of Peruvian food but I will be back.

So tasty and fresh, perfectly cooked chicken with great flavors and amazing sauces, large delicious sides, you won't leave hungry. Place smells so good and tastes even better. Had the Tres Leches cake to top it off and what a treat!

I was on my way to Richmond on 1 South and saw this restaurant and decided to stop. I have never had Peruvian food and I AM SO GLAD THAT I STOPPED!!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I even ordered another meal to go (Lamb).

The food is so fresh and light. Nothing greasy. There isn’t a long wait and the service is excellent. I wish we had one in MS. I was told by a Peruvian a few days before that there food was delicious. Well, it’s beyond delicious. The lamb chops were to die for!! I’m craving both means at same time because so flavorful and good!!

I highly recommend eating here if in area. I would never tire of this food! My hats off to Peruvian cuisine!!!!

Ashland (Washington Hwy) location. I have been extremely satisfied with their food every time I dine in or carry out. I really enjoy the shrimp bowl and the charbroiled Peruvian chicken dinner. Staff is friendly and service is quick.

We are so happy that we found this place driving home from our vacation. The food was excellent! We got the chicken quesadilla and the Lomo Saltado. Both were delicious and very flavorful, so flavorful that the chicken quesadilla was a wonderful surprise. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend to all!

We stopped in here for dinner after visiting Kings Dominion Park. My son found this place online and said dad we should check it out it has great reviews. So glad we all went. The service was great. The place was clean. The food was very delicious. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for great delicious food. Will definitely visit again.

The first thing you smell when walking into Fire & Chicken is that the use real smoke from real hardwood to cook with. That takes you back to the backyard BBQ feeling. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The staff was attentive and efficient. The food was amazing, I honestly can't wait to go back and try a new dish. The service was fast, the food fresh, and they really know what they are doing.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!👏👏 This is literally the best chicken I think I've ever had in my life! We ordered the chicken bowl... life changing, like I was sad when I ate the last bite. 😭 Come hungry because they feed you well!

My husband and I decided to try Fire & Chicken because we needed a fairly quick dinner and neither of us had been there before. I'm sooo glad we did! Their reviews are outstanding for a reason!

The menu offered so many great options, it was difficult to decide, but I settled on shrimp tacos that absolutely WOWed me! The combination of spices and fresh, crispy veggies and sauces led to flavor utopia! I don't even usually like corn tortillas, but these were perfect! I also really enjoyed their green hot sauce.

My husband got the chicken with rice and green beans, which sounds a little mundane, but each element was executed perfectly. The delicious, tender chicken complemented the lightly steamed beans well. He added their yellow sauce to the rice and it was phenomenal! I can't wait to go back because their menu offered so many other tempting options. 5 stars for Fire & Chicken!!

This review is all about the food. While the staff were friendly and the dining area was quaint, there is no better lunch time food experience than here. Everything they make is outstanding! Best lunch time chicken experience by far! Would recommend for a great, not-break-the-bank get more than you'd expect experience. Portions were outstanding, side were scrumptious and the Peruvian charcoal fired chicken? Muey sabroso! Delicioso! In Ashland? Give this place a try....

This place is truly on fire! The food is GREAT! The Associates serve with a Smile. We brought some well-seasoned chicken that was very tasty. So if you are in the Ashland, VA stop by this place. 1/2 Chicken w/ Cilantro Rice is amazing! Also, their BBQ & is Mango Habenero are a great combo. 10/10

Ordered 1/2 dark chicken plate with sides (cilantro rice & black beans). Chicken was moist & seasoned well. Mixed the beans & rice. All of it was fantastic. Large sides. Did not need 1/2. Could have done 1/4.

Great food no ambiance. We always go for the Peruvian rotisserie style chicken. The family deal for under$30 cannot be beat. The restaurant had seating but absolutely no decor. If the weather is nice make a picnic service is fast order. You can get refills in fountain drinks .

Great service. The restaurant was clean and the food was so delicious. We received prompt service and the young man who helped us was friendly and efficient.

My mouth is now the happiest place on earth. This chicken is so tender, so smoky; it falls off the bone! The yellow and green sauces are addictive. My tacos were amazing. The roasted potatoes were flavorful and delicious. I will be coming back again and again!

Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing! I’ve had their tilapia, salmon, chicken, fried rice, and steak & cheese. They’re all delicious!

Just the BEST rotisserie chicken in Richmond and good prices too. Love the green beans that aren't soggy and plantains too.
