Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar - Hallandale Beach

My favorite things were the potatoes with yellow sauce & marajito pitcher with dry ice, delicious & fun! The Ceviche sampler was excellent, seafood soup was good but very beef tasting. Beef tips were fine. Would like to try more of their menu items, wish their menu had photos of more of the items.

You have to come here!! I have been following Dr. Limon on Instagram for some time now and have been dying to try them out. I brought my mom here on a Saturday night, the music was great, we were immediately greeted upon entry, and I'm telling you as soon as we sat down, without delay we were greeted by our amazing server Sebastian who brought us toasted corn and a small cup of Leche de tigre(my personal favorite Ceviche) to sample. The service here is IMPECCABLE. The servers and bussers are friendly, they anticipate your needs. There is not a moment where you are thinking to yourself, where is my server or I need this, I need that. My mom and I both ordered Passionfruit juice, which was not too sweet and a little sour. One thing that did surprise me a little is that although the drinks were served cold they didn't have any ice in them. I ordered the grilled octopus which had chimichurri on it I believe, it was served with potato wedges and white corn, I also ordered some Leche de Tigre. My mom ordered the Lomo Saltado. The food was sooooo good. It was absolutely delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Everything is so flavorful and it came out quick and hit. The ceviche was fresh and tender and just melts in your mouth. As we finished our meals, or most of it, we asked Sebastian for some boxes, he whisked away our plates and took them to the back to pack them himself! I mean talk about service. There was never a dirty pate in front of us for more than a minute or 2. The bussers quickly followed behind picking up anything leftover. We also ordered a chocolate cake and he did tell us the name and I can't quite remember but I do remember it tasted heavenly. It was soft and moist and again, not too sweet, it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Again table was cleared with a swiftness and I asked for the check. Sebastian bid us a good night and believe me, I will be returning soon.

My first time trying Peruvian food. I was very hesitant trying a new cuisine like this but I was so glad I did. The food is very amazing from the first bite. Me and my bf looked at each other, nodded our head and continued eating.
I think they serve the Lomo Saltado with Filet mignon. It was so soft and cooked so well! I really really love it.
The other dish (i forgot the name, you can see my picture) is a seafood plate which is good too, especially the fish was cooked very well. However, the yellow sauce (I think some kind of cheese) is too salty for me. If it’s less salty, it’ll be perfect!
They also served us ceviche and some snack before serving the main dish which is nice. Waiters are attentive and decoration is nice.
I tried the same dish at a different Peruvian restaurant and I made my decision that I would come back here again!
Price is quite high with required tips, just for your information.

We went to have lunch there. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful. The waitress gave us the special of the day. He told us what he likes in the menu. He also recommended some cocktails. The food was fresh and delicious. The price is a little on the high side. We got recommended by a friend. We are definitely recommending others now.

Been here twice to try different things because everything is good! The sushi is amazing! Their spring rolls are delicious, and the meat is so good!!

Limón Ceviche comes highly recommended - a delightful spot with excellent service. We started with the Tuna Tartar, deserving of a 5⭐ rating, and for our main course, both the Lomo Saltado and the Chaufa Rice were incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

This place is very inviting and most importantly clean. Our server, Sebastian was very profesional and attentive. The food was delicious and the dessert was DELI 😋 Must visit and enjoy!

I ordered “Pescado al lo Macho”. I did not expect the awesomeness. But wasn’t I spectacularly surprised? Creamy sour and salty enough to please my taste buds. I tell you this much. I tried a lot of seafood dishes. But this one take the first place buy far.
Could tell the waiter was not working there for a long time (hence the 4 stars) for service. Nevertheless everything else 5 stars only because 5 is the maximum I could select 🏆 🏆🏆🏆🏆

We were visiting Miami and we went to this restaurant with our friends who recommended this restaurant. The place is super clean an very nice decorated. I particularly love the decoration. The food was amazing. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The cocktails are to die for. The best part of the experience was the service, Federico is the best. I Highly recommend this place.

Our favorite ceviche place when we come to town! We get the best suggestions & cheerful service from Cathy every time. Love their signature drink Marajito at Happy Hour! We especially enjoy the grilled octopus & the unique fried ceviche. So different & tasty!

Had a great time, our server was nice, but Chiara went above and beyond greeting us and giving us good recommendations when we asked her. We will come back, food is good but they should keep and eye for that great employee they have.

We had a sampler meal that included arroz con marisco, jalea real, ceviche and grilled ocpotus. Everything we tried was delicious and we would love to go again. The chocolate cake was good too.

Want to satisfy a Peruvian dish craving? You don’t have to look any further. Their authentic dishes and juices will appease the most sophisticated palates. Their bar is fully stocked and the service is five-stars worthy. Make sure to ask for some of their secret menu items like the skirt steak and risotto in a zesty pineapple sauce.

Good food, good drinks. Very nice atmosphere. Jackie was our waitress. She's lovely. We will be back.

First time going to Dr. Limón. We went with arroz chaufa de pollo, jalea, ceviche with leche de tigre, and two pisco drinks. The quality was great portions were enough for two people to share. Our favorites were the chaufa and ceviche. We feel like the jalea could of use a bit of more seasoning but it was ok. For dessert we went with cake and helado de Lucuma which was delicious. The service was also great, very attentive. The prices were a bit high compared to other Peruvian restaurants in south Florida but overall a great experience. Enjoy!

Been there twice. One before and one after the pandemic. Both experiences were just amazing.
Ambiance, greeting, menu selection, service, speed, food/beverage quality and especially the STAFF. I cannot say thank you enough to them. 👍👍👍
I wasn’t a big fan of chain restaurants but this is just an exceptional one. I will absolutely be back for more.

Ok this is serious I couldn't leave Miami without trying Dr Limon. This time I asked for Dr Limon Causas Octopus....(grilled octopus) .... in few words..... it melts in your mouth....and is seasoned to perfection! With the perfect side of potatoes that were both crunchy and soft! It was so so good.... 100% recommend at the point we asked for a second one. We also had the special ceviche with 4 different types... again so good, each ceviche was different and absolutely divine! For drinks we have the hot Margarita and the Majarito (the Peruvian version of Mojitos.... so I was born in Cuba... my standards are high 😅 for Mojitos and this Majarito winsby far...sorry Mojito). Again staff super nice, on point attentions
