A great floor store with quality products.

I bought a new house from Holiday Builders in Jan of 2017.  One of the options in the contract was hardwood flooring, which was an approximately $40,000 upgrade.  Sherwin Williams was the subcontractor that worked for Holiday Builders, and installed the wood flooring.   Since before the house even closed, the wood flooring has been lifting from the foundation.  Over the last 20 months, Sherwin Williams has had their subcontractor come out to the house to re-glue and replace loose boards over 20 times.  Glue has been injected in over 100 sites.  I have taken over an entire year's worth of vacation time from work, and put up with work at night and on weekends.   When I finally learned that this was a systemic problem and had occurred to many of the houses where Sherwin Williams was a subcontractor here in Hammock Bay, I asked that the floor be replaced.  Multiple Sherwin Williams representatives have been out to my house and Sherwin Williams confirms this is a widespread problem in the houses that they installed the flooring in, and that they have already completely replaced the floors in some houses.  Yet, for inexplicable reasons, Sherwin Williams refuses to replace my flooring.  They say they are having meetings about it, the problem is widespread, etc, and that I should "be patient", but it's been almost 2 years, and the warranty expires in 3 months.  If you are having a house built, or remodeled. I highly recommend that you do not use Sherwin Williams.  I am stuck with a $400,000 house that I now cannot sell, unless I pay someone $50,000 to come correct this company's work.  I got taken to the cleaners by Sherwin Williams. I strongly recommend that you steer well clear of this company that does not stand behind their work.

Zero stars. Their installers don't level out the slab prior to installing hardwoods. When they came out their sales rep was arrogant and admitted it wasn't right and said Shaws flooring is "cheap thin wood with a thin veneer" if that's the case... why is it rated as a 'lifetime' residential floor. Why are you bad mouthing your distributor Dexter?
