I bought a few items with this company, the pieces are beautiful and the sales team is professional, until you need them to fix issues. After I bought my items I got home and saw some scratches on the front and back of one of them, this could only be seen under the light. When I received the items at the warehouse the workers do a fast check up and quickly load up everything on your vehicle. All is done inside the warehouse with low natural light, when you buy many things you are not aware of receiving defective hardware and some things they load without you having a proper look. This happened to me and talked to the people in charge, they tried to look professional but didn't offer a reasonable solution, either I had to pay more to get it replaced or I had to stay with the defective piece because how they see things "it was my fault".

I wrote a very good review about a month ago, but I'd like to add our most recent experience.
Unfortunately, doing a sale can be quite easy, but when things go wrong, that's when you can really measure how serious and responsible a merchant can be. Jorge is indeed a good sales person, however, when it comes to post sale, they don't stand behind their products and that's really a good point to consider when making a long term investment (in our case the master bathroom). The Sales office and the warehouse are both run by family members and Jose (his brother) displays a horrible, arrogant attitude, and lacks good manners and minimum customer service skills. We were planning to remodel our guest bathroom with them, but evidently not anymore......it's a shame !!!!!

Consejo para futuros compradores: Antes de comprar en este lugar tomen en cuenta que en caso de que algo salga mal (por situaciones fuera de su control), su dinero NO será devuelto y los dueños no se harán responsables por entregarles un producto con el cual este satisfecho.

La orden inicial se hizo la ayuda de Jorge con 4 meses de anticipación y se pagó 100% sin cuestionar. Cuando puse mi orden inicial con Doral Kitchen & Bath todo fluyo bien hasta el día que tuve que recoger el producto en el almacén. Los empleados colocaron los gabinetes en el carro y cuando llegamos a casa nos dimos cuenta de que nos habían entregado un producto defectuoso. No tardamos ni 30 minutos en contactarlos para buscar una solución y nos pidieron mas dinero para cambiar el producto. No conozco de ningún otro lugar con un servicio al cliente tan bajo.

Si están buscando productos de baño les recomendaría una compañía mas seria y con mejor póliza de garantía como Bath Trends (en la misma 79th Ave). Después de la gran decepción que me lleve con Doral Kitchen & Bath puse mi orden con Bath Trends ya que su póliza de devolución especifica que “el cliente tiene 24 horas para inspeccionar el producto en caso de que haya algún defecto para intercambiar o pedir la devolución del dinero 100%”.

Este es el motivo por el cual muchas veces los pequeños negocios de familia no triunfan. Por el simple hecho que priorizan el dinero sobre la satisfacción del cliente. Nunca he escrito un mal review, pero uno trabaja muy duro para que las expectativas no sean cumplidas. Me gustaría evitarle a mas compradores la gran decepción y mal rato que me lleve por lo que les recomiendo que inviertan su dinero en otro lugar que lo merezca con más prestigio.

Advice to future customers: Prior to considering making a purchase from Doral Kitchen and Bath, please note that if for any case or circumstance (out of your control), something goes wrong with the final product, the owners will NOT return your money nor ensure you’ll be satisfied.

Our initial order was placed with Jorge 4 months in advance and was paid 100% upfront with no hesitation. Everything went good until the day we had to pick up the merchandise from the warehouse. The employees placed the product in our car and once we arrived home, we realized one of the sinks had a huge and deep scratch. We called them right away (not even 30 minutes had passed) to try and find a solution and they asked us for more money to exchange the product. I do not know of any other place with such pitiful customer service.

If you are looking to remodel your bathroom, I highly recommend a more serious company with a customer satisfaction guarantee worthy of like Bath Trends (down the street from them). After the big let down from Doral Kitchen & Bath, I placed my order with Bath Trends since their policy states that “the client has 24 hours to inspect the product in case there may be any defects and request an exchange or 100% money back guarantee”.

Unfortunately, this is the reason why small family owned businesses sometimes fail. For the simple fact that they prefer your money rather than your satisfaction. I have never written a negative review, but we all work very hard for our money for expectations not to be met. I would like to give all their possible future clientele a heads up to avoid the bad experience. Instead, I recommend you invest your money elsewhere in a more prestigious place that values you.
